Vaazlahkol offers his arm to Samantha "Nothing would please me more than spending more time in your wonderful presents." he says as he escorts her out "How have you been, since those devils from the heavens laid siege to your world?" he asks "If there is, in any way, that I may help with anything needed, please feel free to to but ask, and I shall do so." he offers.

"The Trojan?" Samantha asked in response. "I've been doing all right but thanks for the offer, me and my family got through it one piece. A lot of the damage to the cities and such were repaired somehow, but that doesn't change the memories. With the invasion and the Mystic world turning their back when needed, I hope it doesn't make earth more untrusting to outsiders when it seems progressing was being made."

Vaazlahkol shakes his head "I don't think that the people of Earth really expected anything from the people from the Mystic world, since their presents in this beautiful planet is so limited." he points out as he escorts Samantha out "However, by contrast, your people, having provided assistance in that crisis, is what many are talking about. Who you are, where you came from, are you an ally?" he says "It seems these Hunter people have the answers to their questions and it's making the masses even more curious."

Samantha knew the Mystic world wasn't too involved in things compared to other allies; just she thought perhaps it would cause more fuss. Maybe it was just as often the case of all the politicians posturing while the general public felt another way as Noreal went through the same thing at times.

"I suppose we'll have to see how it turns out. I'm just glad its a bit different then I thought." Samantha said. "If I may ask, where did you hear about the Hunters involved in such things? It would make sense, more just curious. As for people in general talking, I'm afraid I probably been in my bubble."

Vaazlahkol thinks for a moment "As a member of The Thirteen, I have certain powers, abilities, and skills and one of them is communicating with the souls of the departed." he says as he waves a hand "They are everywhere and they see and hear everything and I need but to ask of them and they provide, in exchange for my helping them find peace." he explains.

That did make sense given what she knew of the type of deity he was. On top of that there were people that were still dead from the invasion while others had come back, as to why she really didn't know.

"I can see how that be very useful." Samantha said with a smile as they got out of the building. "For tomorrow, I'll call you in the morning and we could have most of the day to ourselves. Do you know about caller ID and such already?"

Vaazlahkol shakes his head "Oh no. A creature such as Shivers would not have survived on my world. A ghoulish abomination that needs to be subjected to a lifetime of servitude in order for him to know happiness and I would be totally lost in this world without him." he says with a slight, sad smile on his face.

He gently takes Samantha's hand and brushes his cold lips to the back of it "Until tomorrow, fair Samantha. I bid you a pleasant rest of your day." he says with a slight bow, before he turns and starts off.

Samantha was going have to ask more about Shivers tomorrow morning when they hung out together. She still had some reservations about undead but she was trying not to let that impede her judgement with what was going on.

Whether Monica knows it or not, I think she has a gift for this.

In the mean time it was time to head back home before she had to go pick up Yulina from school.

___________

Michru was at the current age while young, she didn't need Emanulle to walk them home when they were relatively close; it was just because she wanted to spend time with him. Japan was relatively safe in a sense despite all the strangeness that seemed to naturally gravitate towards so there wasn't as need to worry.

Emanulle also wanted to talk Mike to see how Michru was progressing and fairing in general. Given what he knew, there was probably a lot more that could be pushed from them but he didn't want Michru attracting attention of the bad kind.

He was eternally grateful for them taking Michru back in once things settled down as well as teaching them enough they weren't a threat to herself or others. Alia in a sense to, simply because while Ness had been the one to deal with that situation she had put herself out there when she didn't have to. So for that, he'd always be grateful and willing to help in anyway he could; not that she'd likely need it most of the time.

Doctor Michael Anderson, or Sensei Mike to the students, was going over some contracts from the Hunters asking for more touch-know telepaths and he wasn't too sure what they wanted them for, so he would arrange a meeting with Julius Belmont to discuss new terms to protect his students. If it was one thing Mike cared about, were his students, past, future and everything in between.

He frowns at a report he got from Akane and Maya. He was going to have to do something about that, as he didn't Really see their group dynamic improving. He needed to talk to Aki and Oka. Mike knew the young woman said her emotions were muted, but he didn't need his psychic gift to be able to feel her anger. He needed to help her find a way, a safe way, to express her anger and get her and her sister back to New York. Because Mike Believed in what Devin Lavouche and the people at the Last Maiden were doing, they only needed some of his psychics to make their team complete and if Akane couldn't get over her understandable hatred of men, then her team will have to be reassigned.

His phone beeps, letting him know his secretary was trying to get ahold of him. He hits the button "Yes Michiko?" he asks.

"I'm sorry to bother you, doctor, but there is a Mister Emanulle Santos here to see you." she a voice that was a little Too perky.

Mike nods "Very good. Send him on in, Michiko." he says.

"Right away, doctor." she says as his door buzzes open.

Emanulle came into the office once he was allowed to, greeting his friend as he came inside. "Afternoon. I just wanted to catch up a bit and see a bit how my daughter been progressing. I hope this isn't a bad time." In his opinion the man needed some more down time even if he did enjoy doing what he did.

Michael nods "Give me a moment..." he says as he heads to his filing cabinet and pulls Michru's file, then sits back down "Michru has progressed quite well and she has some very good self control over most of her gifts, though I would like to still work with her on controlling her telekinesis." he says.

He slides the file over for Manny to look over "She still loses a little control over them when she gets emotional and her being at the age she is, well, I would get use to Poltergeist phenomenon happening around your place, for the time being of course. Together we'll teach her how not to let her telekinesis get away from her." he says with confidence.

"But overall, I feel she's ready to attend a normal middle school if she wants to." he says with a pleased smile "If she Does want to go to a normal middle school, feel free to bring her by any time for her lessons here."

Emanulle was pleased at the news. Michru didn't need to master her powers and discover the full strength of it, she just needed enough to where it wasn't a issue in day to day life. Luckily, Michru didn't seem to express any interest in going further besides what was needed. She was content was just being a kid.

"I'll talk to them about it. She may not want to for the simple fact she has some friends here and she doesn't like big changes when she finds something stable." He knew that of course was due to her past. Change when it came to certain things could be scary for most, but Michru it was a bit more.

"Overall, I'm happy she's been doing so well." He began again. "That aside, how have you been as of late? I've kinda felt like I have been floating by a bit, job wise that is on my end. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for it but its not as fulfilling for me so I considered other things. Of what though, I don't know. It makes me feel like someone in college again."

Mike nods "It is, of course, up to Michru if she wishes to go to a normal middle school, but if she chooses to stay here instead, I will confess a fair amount of happiness about this." he says.

When Manny started getting personal, Mike listened to his tale and nods when appropriate "I would suggest you look back on your life and find when you were truly happy and, if possible, go back to that profession." he suggests.

Though Manny might think differently, Mike treated him like any other parent of his kids. He couldn't show favoritism, or rather, he Shouldn't show favoritism and he does a decent job of it, but there Are some he cares for more than others.

"Perhaps. Easier said then done at times."
Emanulle got up after that. "I know you're a busy man so I'll let you go. It was nice talking with you as always."

He left Mike after that to go find Michru was talking to some of her other friends while other parents went to talk and pick up their own children.

Michru's eyes flashed with recongized at seeing the figure of her father. "Hey dad!"

"Hey kiddo." Emanulle greeted, happy to see them in good spirits. "How was class?"

"It's ok." Michru said, trying to act composed in front of her dad with all the others around. "I just had to figure a few things out."

After they left and headed back home where Michru headed to her room while Emanulle headed down stairs. It was a more or less modest room but there were a few stuffed animals she had since she was younger she was unable to depart with.  Some of her friends had invited her to sleep over by she choose not at the given moment, at least for now.

It felt strange for Michru. She had a family, she was grateful for what she had. So why did she still feel a tinge of something when ever saw some of her friends with their mothers? Maybe she wasn't as completely above it as she had previously thought after all. She didn't really  hold anything against Anita, but she did slight trust issues letting people that close to her like that again.

Even still she'd not let that stop her. If he did find someone else one day she'd keep a open mind. He deserved to be happy.

Soon she drifted off into a peaceful sleep after getting comfortable in her bed.
_______

Samantha was waiting for her date at the place she worked after calling them and giving them directions. She honestly wasn't sure how it go but he left a good impression from the other day. Yulina was staying over with Michru since the two got along relatively well while she had her time away. If things went well she definitely was going to recommend this to other people she knew. While she was friends with Monica, she wanted to at least be partially impartial to the quality of service.

It wasn't long before Vaazlahkol comes walking over "Lady Samantha, forgive my tardiness." he says "Even with Shiver's map, this place proved a challenge to find in a city of this size." he explains.

He takes out a necklace box "I know you said I didn't need to, but I brought you a gift. A small token of my gratitude for choosing me, over the many who no doubt have shown interest in winning your hand." he says as he opens the box. Inside was a rather expensive looking Necklace.

Samantha was waiting patiently when Vaazlahkol came inside the tea shop holding a necklace box with them. She gently took the necklace after the boxed was open and put it on. She wasn't a materialistic person but she apperciated the gesture and that's all that mattered to her.

"Thank you." She said softly. "And don't worry about it. You're still adjusting to things and I know you didn't purposely come late. I'm not sure if you like tea or not but there are other things here as well."

Vaazlahkol thinks for a bit, then shakes his head "I can not say on if I like tea or not, as we don't have anything called tea where I am from." he says "The air Freconus have learned how to inject air into water, giving it a... bubbly, sparkling, property. They have taken to adding different flavors, such as ginger root and berries to the water, it is quite refreshing and a delight to drink." he explains "Would this world have such concoctions?" he asks.

This got a small smile at what he was describing. "It sounds similar enough to where I think you'll probably enjoy what we call tea."

It was then a beautiful woman came in with a kimono, judging her horns a Oni. "Are you two ready to order?"

"Yes Masako, thank you." Samantha thought for a moment. "I was thinking Rasberry tea for the both of us."

The other woman nodded to that. "I'll get on it then. You two enjoy yourselves."

As she left Samantha turned back to Vaazlahkol. "That's Masako, a good friend of mine. But I've been wanting to ask, what exactly is a Freconus?"

Vaazlahkol thinks how best to describe it "The remaining people on the world who's pantheon of gods and goddesses I belong to, can change shape... he starts as he motions to himself "This, is my Freconus form. My second form is that of a giant flying lizard-like creature that has a breath weapon called a Tulvir." he says "Much like how your people, Draner, can change from Freconus to Tulvir." he thinks again "It may sound confusing, but for us, Thirteen, it's what we are use to."

Cast out of the Thirteen and forced to talk with mortals, forever as a Freconus. Never to know the pleasure of changing into a Tulvir." he explains

Samantha frowned a bit at that. "I see. It's a shame then there's only one people around now. I was going to ask what other races if any were around but that was long ago. In Noreal there are four main dominant races, a few minority races as well you don't hear about as often much like earth. There were a few more but..unfourtnately during our less enlightened past we either killed them off or drastically cut their numbers. It's one one of our prouder moments.."

In the background, Masako came back to deliever them both their tea before going about their duties.

Vaazlahkol nods "It seems both of our people have history that we are not proud of." he says "We could have intervened when Deathwing had attacked the mortals, if not for our own rules of not interfering with the workings of other Divine being." he says.

He takes a sip of his tea and frowns a little "This concoction is, different from what I am use to." he says [color#e0e0e0]"If I may ask, how does one make this, tea?"[/color] he asks.
