Here And There

Hiroshi didn't like seeing Izumi like that either but there really wasn't all that much further he could do, whether he wanted to accept it or not. He was about to leave the woman to her pace before Suki came down and motioned for him to come over, as if she wanted to talk about something.

Which, given what all was going on could be anything.

She ushers Hiroshi out of the kitchen "I think we should tell mom and dad about Takumi after dinner." she says in a low tone "After all, bad news improves on a full stomach, right?"

Hiroshi sighed a bit. "..Probably. I'm not looking forward to it but its something that needs to be done." They needed some type of good news soon, because things far as internal matters with the family would get worse. Because it seemed Izumi and her husband weren't as close at the given moment, and he hate for this to drive them completely apart enventually.

Suki thinks for a bit "We Do have some good news, remember? We can get Takumi back! All we need to do is find him and hope we don't have a Huge Oni battle to deal with once we Do find him." she points out.

Of course, they still needed to find those others. Maybe Mad could help with that as well. He seemed to be able to find, well, just about anyone of the supernatural verity.

"Point taken." Hiroshi said to that. "I have no idea where to find Mad but maybe Torin or Abraxus has an clue." Also the other people mentioned but that went without saying.

Suki nods "I was thinking about that as well. I believe that Mad could, probably, help with that as well." she says "After all, he seems Really good at finding paranormal beings."

"Yeah..I think its actually an ability of his at this rate.." Hiroshi said more to himself then anything else. "After dinner I'll call either the two or text them and go from there and then we should hopefully be moving forward on that part."

Suki nods "I'll talk to mom and dad, while you make your calls." she says "That way we can cover more ground. The sooner we get the ball rolling on this, the sooner my family can become whole again." she says.

She wished Jason had been more helpful, but he Had a point, to some degree. If they always relied on others to help them, they would never get anywhere.

When Suki went to do her thing, Hiroshi went to call Abraxus. If he wasn't reached at that time, he was just going to leave a text or voice mail and get back to it later.

Fumitsuki wasn't doing anything. Except for heading to the dinner table to help set it up. Her dad was doing so at the moment and she was talking with him about normal, mundane thing, like school and boys. Though, he was the one who brought up the subject.

There was no answer from Abraxus, which normally meant he was on Hunter business and probably wouldn't get back to Hiroshi for a bit.

Hiroshi wasn't too surprised that was the case, he'd have to call them back later but in the mean time he would rejoin the others and see if they needed anything.

Suki looks over to Hiroshi after she finishes setting up the table "Any luck with either Abraxus or Torin?" she asks.

Hiroshi shook his head. "Unfourtnately no. The text I got from Torin he doesn't know where Mad is and he can't join us right now. Not even in Japan at the moment with whatever they're doing. But hopefully Abraxus gets back soon, but probably be a minute if its offical business they're busy with."

Suki nods "Maybe he will..." she mumbled. But she didn't think so. Not this time. It seemed like everything was going to be the hard way and a part of her, she didn't know which part, looked forward to the challenge.

Hiroshi was starting to doubt it too, but oh well. He promised he'd do what he could to help and protect Suki and that's what he was going to do for better or worse. "Yeah, but we'll get through it. Its just going to take a bit longer and be a bit harder."

Words were one thing. Hiroshi could say all the soothing things he could think of and still nothing would change. The power of positive thinking wasn't going to fix This problem. After dinner, Suki decided it was best to start taking things into her own hands and go looking for Mad herself!

Which was true, thinking alone wouldn't do anything since it had to be applied with action. "So what do you want to do after dinner? If no one else at the moment can help, then we have to do it ourselves. We can search, just not sure where to start."

Suki thinks for a bit "I think, we should see if Christine knows anything. If nothing else, how to get in contact with Joyce. After all, I remember her saying that she and Mad were, uh, close." she says.

That had honestly been something Hiroshi kind of forgot about. But if someone more on the unsettling side and enough angst and rage as a certain genre of rock, he supposed the saying there is someone for about anyone rang true.

"Yeah, that would make sense. It doesn't hurt to ask if nothing else, we could go after dinner since its not Too late." Hiroshi reasoned.

Suki nods "Okay, dinner first, then planning our next move." she says as she starts off, but faulters a bit "While we Should tell mom and dad about Takumi, we Shouldn't tell them about Our plans." she says "They'll try to stop us."

Hiroshi frowned, but nodded. "I don't like it, but you're right. We'll keep that part to our chest. Lucky for me, my folks are out for a bit but for them we'll need some type of cover story for this to work. I have no clue how long this is going to take."

Suki thinks for a bit "We'll just say that we're gonna go hiking in the mountains for a bit. Say that Usagi wants us to spend some time at her place." she says "They'll believe that, I'm pretty sure."she says. She would have to call Usagi and talk to her about this plan.

"I think that'll work." Hiroshi admitted. "As long as its something they'll take. Just have to let Usagi know and we'll be set on that part at least." Hopefully the visit with Christine wouldn't be a bust like everything else so far.

Suki nods "Yeah. I'll text her after dinner and set something up..." she mumbles "And speaking of which." she says as she jerks a thumb towards the dinning room "Let's get something to eat." she says.

Oh, on that he had no complaints what so ever. If she had wanted to Suki's mother could of opened up something in his opinion and eating with them was always an treat. He was thinking of a back up plan, just in case Christine couldn't get a hold of Joyce and by proxy to the point; Mad. It never hurt to have the extra, espeically at the moment.
