School Life, New Life

Samarra Aramanta walks into the busy halls of her new high school and looks around with a frowns. Did she Really Need to attend high school on Earth? It's not like she Really Needed to learn anything about Earth's education system. She got what she needs from Noreal's education system before she was brought here.

"Yes. You Need to attend Earth high school." Jason says as he escorts Samarra to the gates "Remember what we talked about?" he asks.

Sam sighs "Yes. I was supposed to be the one to teach him, but I got scared and took off when the Hunters showed up." she says in a sunken voice.

Jason nods "That's right and I Told you that you'd be safe, didn't I?" he asks "When have I Ever given you bad advice?" he asks her.

Sam shakes her head "You haven't..." she mumbles.

Jason nods "And that's why we're here." he points out "Besides, it'll be good for you to finish your education and who knows, maybe you'll make some new friends." he says as he hands her a backpack "For now, just try not to burn the place down." he tells her.

Samarra looks at the piece of paper and heads to the class that's marked on it and knocks, sliding the door open and peeking in "Ah! Please come in..." the teacher says "I'm Miss Tanaka..." she says as Sam walks over to her "Class, we have a new student. This is Samarra Aramanta..." she says as she motions over to a young man standing by her desk "And that's my teaching aid, Mister Holander. You can take a seat next to Amy over there by the door." she says, motioning to a pretty petite girl with black hair and amazing eyes. She had an empty desk next to her.

Jaiden was going about his usual duties at the moment, a new student wasn't anything new. All the same hopefully they had a decent experience once they got into the school grounds. Curious the name did sound very Farian and if so wouldn't be surprised if that was indeed the actual case.

Amy gives Samarra a slight smile, before going back to focusing on the lesson.

It was soon lunch time and Samarra was sitting there, nibbling in her food, absentmindedly causing small sparks in her food, when a young woman walks over "Hello. I'm Taki, it's nice to meet you." she says in a friendly tone.

Taki motions to the others by her "These are my friends, Mitsuki, Laura, and Sarah..." she says. They all greet Samarra, except for Mitsuki. She has the Most stunning eyes Sam has Ever seen.

The young Farian stammers a bit "Uh... H-hi there..." she says, clearing her throat "I mean, hello. I'm Samarra, but you can call me Oz..." she tells them.

Taki nods "Well, I hope we can be friends and welcome to our school." she says as she bows slightly before heading back to her desk to have lunch with her friends.

Jaiden had seen Samarra Aramanta almost use their fire a bit. Not much to be trouble but enough to at least give a quick word after class before being on his way. "Miss Aramanta? I didn't want to bring it during class but I had noiticed you almost using your fire a bit. Please try to be careful for next time. Unlike back at my home most of the buldings aren't fire resistant."

Leniya found the day overall on the dull side but that was all right because no news in your daily life was good news. At least that was her own personal nugget of wisdom, which seeing how chaotic things could be she was more then fine with.

Emus and Nysia were there of course as was Lucia. The later had become obessed with a certain manga that was a bit..on the raunchy side. She adamantly said she liked things for the plot and the characters but it was fun to poke at them since it was like a cat that was trying to avoid water.

If she knew there was a new student, much less a Farian she would of definitely made her way over to say hello. Espeically since lunch was the only time other grades intermingled.

"So any plans down the pipe line after school?" Nysia asked casually, not eating nearly as much as normal. Which had to mean she had ate a lot earlier or something.

"Maybe the arcade? Heard there was something new they put in." Leniya said after thinking. "I don't actually have something in mind specifically."

"That's assuming we get our studies done. We still have homework remember?" Lucia said, still not looking from what she was reading.

Emus shrugged in response. "It's not going anywhere, we have two days to do it. All work and no play makes a dull time. Besides I need a break trying to cram this police stuff along with school since I can feel my brain turning into a milkshake."

Oz looks up at Jaiden "Oh, was I? Sorry about that, Mister Holander. I sometime do that without even thinking. After all, my fire is apart of me." she explains "So, you're from Noreal too?" she asks "I don't know many places that make their buildings fire resistant." she chuckles.

Lara looks over to Jaiden, Her man is spending time with Another Woman? She was okay with that. After all, she couldn't control his life. So she would do what they always do and wait for him at their usual spot.

As the group of second years head out, they pass a Hunter with a Young Lady who has horns and a tail and they were heading to the Headmistresses office.

"Correct, Veeden to be exact. Had some family come here so ended up staying here." He said, at this point it was obvious she was a Farian since everything else pretty much lined together at this point. "What brings you all the way to earth? Don't have to answer if its a touchy subject."

While they were going about their way to eat, they did notice the unusual student. To Leniya and Lucia they didn't think too much of it but more Emus and Nysia something clicked then. It had to be Deila Hiroshi had mentioned but they had never actually met them before.

"That's Deila? I wonder what she's doing here?" Nysia said almost more to herself. And seeing Lucia and Leniya semed slightly lost she explained. "Sister and friend of Hiroshi. We never actually met them before though."

"Maybe she's attending." Emus reasoned, after all she could pass as someone around his or Usagi's age give or take a bit younger or older so she wouldn't look out of place. "Not sure. No point in specluating on it. But if she does we should make sure she feels welcomed." He'd have to ask Hiroshi later about it, he had to talk to them about something anyway.

Oz waves her hand "Oh, I just just a dirty little orphan living in the wrong city, stealing and scrounging to survive when someone showed up, brought me to Earth and made my life better." she explains "Yeah, I sometimes miss Noreal and the general xenophobia of Earth Does wear thin from time to time, but it really is a step up from where I came from."

In the Headmistresses. She was looking over Delia's file "And you want Us to accommodate this..." she looks at Delia, who was sitting next to the Hunter, full attention on the older woman "Young lady, who could Potentially lose her temper and harm one of My precious students or teachers?" she asks.

The Hunter nods "That's one way to look at it, the other way to see it is that as long as she's here, you'll always have a Hunter presents here to deal with any less than ideal problems normal security can't handle." he points out "And I can give you our Personal assurance that Delia will Not lose control. She's not a monster afterall..." he looks over to Delia "Right Delia?" he asks.

Delia nods with a toothy smile "Right! Lia-Chan will do get best and make her school (and onii-chan) proud!" she says, raising an enthusiastic clawed fist over her horned head.

The Headmistress sighs "Against my better judgement, I'm going to allow her to attend, Provided she behaves and that there are Hunters there here for if she Doesn't." she states.

The Hunter nods "We plan to shadow her where we can and keep an eye on her when she's here." he assures the older woman.

The Headmistress nods "We'll work out the finer details later than..." she says as she looks at Delia "Welcome to Nagoya Kita High School, miss Delia."

That seemed bit more understandbale why she was here and apparently had no one else, save for the person who brought her here in the first place. "Earth is definitely a interesting place if nothing else going by my own experience but it has its good sides, I hope things work out for you. Either way I should get going but it was nice talking with you." He was going to meet up with Lara, but as for after school he had no plans besides business stuff. It had been a brief but pleasant conversation.

The young woman was cute but he didn't plan on anything, and if Lara saw he didn't see there being any issues. After all unless they lived in on a rock, they'd have to interact with the opposite gender to various degree's.

Oz starts off after the school day ended and, as usual, Jason was waiting for her "So, I see that the school isn't burned down. Looks like you survived a day confined with teachers trying to give you the tools for a better future." he says and she slugs him in the side, which gets a chuckle from him "Come on. It wasn't That bad, was it?" he asks.

Oz sighs and shakes her head "Well, no. Not exactly. It was just boring. Farians are so much smarter than Humans, so Why do I need to learn at a Human level?" she asks.

Jason places a hand on her head and lightly pats her orange hair "You'll be fine. Soon it'll start getting harder. I know Their high school is Your middle school. But just stick with it. It isn't just about your education." he tells her "Come on. I'll walk you home."

Lara was waiting for Jaiden where they had agreed to meet and was checking her phone, a bored look on her face when some guys from a different high school come walking over "Well, well. Look at This stunning foreign beauty." he says as Lara pauses, looks up slightly, then goes back to her phone, ignoring them "Don't be like that. We don't mean anything by it. Come on. Let's go get some tea. My treat."

Lara sighs and looks up again, putting her phone away "I'm sorry, but I'm waiting for my guy friend. He should be here..." she cuts herself off as she sees Jaiden and goes trotting over to him and jumps into his arms "Right here!" she says as she plants a kiss on his lips and looks over to the high school guys "Thanks anyway!" she says with a smile and a wink as she slides out of Jaiden's arms, taking his hand and leading him away "Fantastic timing on the arrival. I was a few seconds from getting mean with those boys." she mumbles.

Jaiden had no clue what was going on, although that said he was glad just to be around Lara. That said he could make a few guesses. "What were you going to say or do?" His guess was the young men had been being pushy or something along those lines.

It was just another session between Hiroshi and Jerod as he figured it was about time for another one espeically after near death experience. Sure Hunters had their own but he trusted Jerod a lot more and was more comfortable letting his guard down more. It was hard enough as is considering how mental health was looked culturally by many in Japan.  It wasn't something he wanted to do but just something he needed to do. Like dealing with bitter and gross medicine that make you feel better long term.

"-So.." Jerod started once again having his notepad and pen ready. How he was able to scribble things down as fast as he could Hiroshi wasn't sure. "Given you had some time to think of things, do you think you're feeling all right?"

"Well, I am save for it reminding me again." He said, and when Jerod said nothing he continued. "You remember that horrible dream, or more like vision I had right? The one where that stranger murdered me and Deila? It felt like I was right there. Things were different obviously but that feeling was similar."

"Which is?"

There was a longer pause. "Mainly I've felt useless and always having to have help when ever something goes down. I'm not always going have help. Just like when that vision happens and Deila actually needs me to protect her? Nothing, as usual. The time Taki went off to face the Overlord? Nothing. Couldn't even provide a distraction regular Oni there. Then I nearly die again recently."

Jerod was writing this down. "In fairness, in the last situation Most Hunters would have died being as most are well trained by normal humans and you did distract them long enough for things to shift even if things weren't ideal. I think I see where this is going but before I say it I need to ask. You've helped both Taki and Fumitsuki  numerous times.  Do you honestly think they still be here if you hadn't helped them? Take a moment before you answer."


"..No. They wouldn't." He replied after a moment.

"Exactly." Jerod nodded. "The main problem is, the lens you've looked at things as they Were then as they are now. Before, while you weren't strongest around you were at least strong enough to help. Now things have changed. You are much weaker, to the point you are or feel more a liability then a assets. You are also much harsher on yourself then anyone else, you're a lot more tenacious then you realize. And who is to say that vision wasn't to motivate you?"

There was a slight sigh after. "I mean..you're not wrong. It's just hard to stay in the mind set when things seem to be happening so fast. It feels, like more lately all these over the top strong people come out of nowhere. Takumi is just one of the first as is the person that murdered Deila. God knows what else, and I'm half convinced someone will magic out of nowhere if I get as strong as I feel I actually need to given patterns. As for doing that vision for motivation? Not sure how. And definitely lost me on what you meant by tenacious."


The older man shook his head."Considering the stranger can apparently see the future, and they sent that to you instead of Urata. When someone is pushed in such a position, they have to make or break. Of course, it is conjecture I admit. You could of simply been easier to reach or something else."

Jerod said as he cleaned his glasses briefly. "By the last part, just as I say. There are actually many people that after the Oni Overlord was defeated, would have retired into the background, myself included.  You've done your part and then some. No one you cared about would think less of you if you had. In order to actually get back to the point of being strong enough to help Taki, you have to not only get strong enough for things as they are, but what they may be in the future when she's trained. A literal force of nature with the potential type of enemies that may attract. And despite that overwhelming daunting seemingly impossible task, you're trying anyway where many would have folded. That's amazing on its own. Sure you may not be perfect about it but here you are."

In response, Hiroshi didn't answer but he was thinking it over as Jerod continued. "Now as to your feeling, there was a point of what I asked. You're at the point now where two young ladies that are crazy about you, along with friends have to look after you where you have to step back a bit for time being. There's no shame in that. You have to get in the less glamorous parts to reach the end; in a way its not so different from what we do here. So for now, trust and have faith in them, and Taki espeically as her power can be a trouble magnet. When the time comes, you'll one day be strong enough to help them a again."

"..Do you honestly think I even can?"

"I do." Jerod said without hesitation. "As seemingly impossible as things seem to be now, and feels like aren't going as fast as you need to, everyone arrives at their own time. I've been around a group of people that have stretched that, so I'm more open minded to it. So what its worth, I believe in you. Besides, I'm sure Natomi has told you of the overwhelmingly powerful beings that inviduals from Noreal have beaten in the past under their own power. Some still exist to this day, granted majority of them live mundane lives these days. "

Hiroshi would mulled it over, he had a few things but he understood what Jerod was trying to say "All that's true, and you're not wrong. It's just all that is out there now and later doesn't care about that. When it comes time for crunch time all that matters if you can do it, or you can't at that given time."

To that, Jerod nodded. "Two things can be true at once. You're right, they won't care and the only thing that will matter if you can or can't at that moment. But like I said, its still going to take time for to reach a level adjusted the new environment. You're just going have to be patient and in the mean time, let others deal with things outside your current ability. Take it one step at a time and focus on the things you can effect currently. Speaking of, I think it be a good idea on that front to write little goals for yourself and work yourself up. Given thought?"

"I think.." Hiroshi began. "I need to refine some basics again before worrying about other stuff. My fireballs are near useless unless I'm standing right in front of them, and I have no clue how Natomi makes them fast. So for now, things like that armor that gives a large boost to physical and energy output is out. Tristian isn't the only one that knows that technique, its just very rare. Not like I'd know who else has it, but the late plan get permission of anyone willing to that knows technique for a holodeck. Either Abraxus, or mine if we're lucky. That's for much later though. It's not really smart to put all your eggs in one basket."

The session continued for a bit longer, and before they knew it they were done. Jerod suggested he go spend time with Taki or something before going to retire. Hiroshi was fine with that, but only if she wasn't busy with something else or doing homework. He'd have to text them and see if they were busy.

Lara smacks a fist into her hand "I was gonna introduce them to American Justice!" she chuckles. This was Exactly why the Japanese boys in her class were afraid of her. But with Jaiden, it was alright for her to just be herself.

Taki text back that she and some friends were studying, but that shouldn't stop him from coming over. And that since Fumitsuki wasn't there anymore, it was lonely with her gone.

As Hiroshi was figuring out what to do with himself tonight, the Hunter and Delia were heading back when she lets out a small gasp, then takes off "Delia, don't go running off." the Hunter says, before noticing where she was booking it off to.

As she was running, on all fours, her face lights up "Oh.. Nii... Chan!!" she calls out between steps as she Launches herself at him!

She collides with him, wrapping her arms, legs, and tail around him as she nuzzles against his face, purring. Ever since his near-death encounter, Delia's been quite protective of him. Spending as much time with him as she can get away with, without annoying him.

The Hunter (Agent Walker) comes walking on up to Hiroshi "Agent Johnson. Can I assume you'll be taking over from here?" he asks, referring to Delia.

Jaiden was slightly amused but he was ultimately glad it didn't come to anything of that sort.  "So that aside how was your school day? There is that new student but not sure if you interacted with them yet, they're from Noreal to."

Hiroshi figured as much that was likely the case. He did want to spend some more time with just the two of them, but it probably have to wait until the weekend where she be off and he didn't have anything since he was on temporary leave after that mission.

Before he could think of anything else, he was certainly hit by a car named Deila which luckily he didn't fall over; he'd have to tell be more careful about that. He did return the hug before pulling away to address the Hunter. "Yeah, its cool. I have things from here."

He turned to Deila. "So how has your day been?"

Lara nods "Yeah, Samarra Aramanta? She's... Farian, right? Like my good friend Hiroshi Johnson." she says "You know, I've never really thought of either you or Hiroshi as Aliens, just different. You know, like how a Zoanthrope is different from a Human." she tells him "But, you three Are aliens, aren't you? From a completely different planet and everything..." she mumbles "And that thought, well, that makes me a little sad." she says.

Delia was grinning a toothy smile "Ehe-he! Lia-Chan got into your old school, Onii-Chan!" she says, still hugging him "Let's celebrate! Just us two." she suggests, grinning up at him.

Jaiden listened to her patiently, but he honestly wasn't sure what she meant by the last part. "Why do you find the part of being from somewhere else sad?" Lara never really gave the impression she cared about it one way or the other.

Hiroshi couldn't really say no, so he decided to give Taki a heads up. 'Something came up so I won't be coming today, but promise to make it up to you tomorrow.'  He knew she wanted to go to school, but it seemed like instead of going straight to college she was taking some time in a normal one first. Wouldn't hurt to say hello to some of the teachers and staff he was cool with over there with the excuse of checking on them.

He smiled. "All right. Maybe some American Pizza then? I don't think you had it and its really good."


Deila's detached head stared blankly at him and nothing at all while the strange figure in purple mocked him. Always the same. Always because he was too weak. The same then happened to him before nothing.

Hiroshi repressed a shudder from the brief image, but he knew Deila likely pick up on it anyway. That vision gave him nightmares still and anxiety more so for Deila then himself. He guessed it was because it was double whammy of what happens to Deila and the scenario playing out as exactly as his worse inner demons said they would.

"I have a few in mind we can go to." He continued shrugging it off the best of his ability.

Lara waves a hand "Don't worry about it. It's not important." she says "So, we heading to your place to relax after a harrowing day of school?" she asks as she takes his arm and moves close.

Delia did, indeed, pick up on Hiroshi's anxiety and she moves closer to him, taking his hand and putting it on the top of her head. Delia has become a real "Head-Pat Slut", wanting them as often as she can get "Let's eat pizza, Onii-Chan." she purrs.

While he was curious about it, if she didn't want to talk about it or deemed it not important. Right now what was important was spending time with each other in their own company. "Speaking my mind. Let's go wind down for the day."

Until very recently Jaiden had been in a apartment, now he had a very modest house. He still hadn't unpacked absolutely everything but he had gotten the most important things out and set up; minus some more decor things. "Make yourself comfortable. Did you want to watch a movie?"

Hiroshi gave them a head pat, he wasn't sure where she had gotten it from maybe many of the manga and such she read. Come to think of it, even Sarah had done it once to him long before.

He led them to smaller pizza place, more family owned. He and Suki used to go there a lot growing up. He sat down as he waited. "So do you know what grade you're starting in?"

Lara plops down on the couch and nods "Yes. Let's order in and watch a movie. Maybe have some 'fun' before I have to head out." she says as she pulls out her credit card and holds it out for Jaiden "Or maybe I'll stay over for the night. Both my folks are out for some time, so I'm in the clear." she says.

Delia looks at the pizza, as if wondering how to eat it, then she looks over to Hiroshi "Yes. Lia-Chan is starting in the second year, if test scores are any indication." she says "Lia-Chan wants to make so many friends this year." she says with a toothy grin.

Jaiden was more then fine with the 'fun' part, it wasn't like Lara had to do too much to get him going either; something she knew about easily already. "I wouldn't mind the company for the night. Anything in particular you're craving food wise?"

Hiroshi was glad to hear that, she definitely needed friends and people to hang out with besides just himself. It be good for them, especially if she made some female friends. "I think you'll probably run into Miss Tanaka then, she was my old teacher. They're good people, think you'll like them and I'm sure you'll make plenty of friends."

"Here. Nothing too fancy to it." He said after a moment seeing how was looking how to best eat to pizza but thankfully it was a easy task.

Lara thinks for a moment and nods "Yeah. Burgers and fries from WcDocnald's." she says "And we can watch a good ol' action movie." she tells Jaiden "A Johnny Cage movie will do." she says, Lara was odd in that she could eat as much as she wanted and not gain a single pound. She always said it was her mother's Super Model genes.

Delia looks over the pizza and picks it up and gently takes a bit from it. Her eyes light up and but looks like she wants to Savage the pizza, but she stops herself, not wanting to seem like a wild animal. She looks over to Hiroshi "Onii-Chan, what are we going to do after this?" she asks.

Oz was wandering around, having looked at her new place that Jason picked out for her. He paid for the rent and utilities for a few months, but she would need to get an Actual job to continue paying for the rent and such after that. So, she was job hunting. She wanted something Other than the usual waitress of cashier jobs that high school girls like her usually get. But what, exactly, she didn't know.

Lara certainly had the body for that to be true, something else he wasn't exactly going to complain about. The fast food and movie choice was sterotypically American from what he knew. Lara was just herself and to Jaiden that was something he liked about them, killer body aside.

"Action and WcDonalds it is." Jaiden ordered in for them before giving Lara back her card. "I never actually seen a Cage movie, so this will be a first for me."

There was one other thing on Hiroshi's mind. The person that attacked Deila and himself seemed to be a schoolgirl of unknown age. They also seemed to have known Deila enough to know about her relationship dynamic with himself. So put those two together and it was very possible they were here. He didn't see the face, but he remembered the voice. And if he could recall that, then if any new female friends Deila made had that he knew who to keep a eye on.

If that turned out, maybe he should been a detective.

At her question, he thought about it. "I don't know. This is kinda a spur of the moment thing. But this is your night so whatever you wanna go to, we'll go and I'll pay for it."

Lara pulls up a couple of Jonny Cage movies "Okay, we got Sudden Violence or Cage Match." she says "We're gonna avoid all the Ninja Mime movies as they are pure garbage." she tells him "And after movie and a meal, where shall our evening go from there?" she asks, giving Jaiden bedroom eyes.

Delia thinks for a bit, before snuggling next to Hiroshi "Lia-Chan is happy as long as Hiroshi is with her." she says, purring "But we can watch a movie later if Hiroshi wants to. Lia-Chan would like to pick the movie." she says with a toothy grin.

* *

Oz was wandering around the city, a paper in her hand as she was looking for a job. She Really didn't need to avoid any Scanner Cops, as Japan had yet to approve them on a large scale. But Hunters, however, she would avoid and when she sees that Hiroshi fellow with some 'Horny' chick *So he's into Lolis?* she thinks as she spins around and starts heading the other direction. She wanted to avoid him until Jason gave her the 'Go' to approach him again.

Jaiden knew that look enough, although if you were with women enough there were certain signs you picked up some subtle and others not as subtle. He gave them a slow, but passionate kiss before pulling away. "There is a time I can see of us having a passionate night while I fill you up over and over again. But we'll have to get there first. We both need to eat."

Hiroshi thinks for a moment. "Then how about we head back to my home? I have Plenty of movies we could watch." There were a lot of things to do in general. After this and spending time with Taki, he'd have to check on Suki to see how she was doing and how her training was coming along.

Lara nods "You're right. First we dine and movie, then we see where the evening takes us." she says as she queues up a couple of movies "Did you order the food?" she asks.

Delia was thinking of maybe going to the movie theater to watch something, but going to Hiroshi's place, where they would be alone together, would be alright in her book as well.

She nods "Okay. We can go back to your place..." she says "But let's get something to eat before we go. Lia-Chan might get hungry when we're watching the movie." she says with another cute, toothy grin.

At that question, he nodded. "Yes, it shouldn't be too long before they hit us up." He found it kinda funny how popular that food was back in the Mystic home world, or so he heard as he never been there himself. Then again maybe it be popular in Noreal to, assuming the place was ever more well known anyway.

They were already eating, but he assumed Deila wasn't near full yet which wasn't a surprise since the girl could eat. He'd save some extra to go since he wasn't as hungry just in case she got hungry once again.

Once they finished there, he escorted them towards his own home. "So do you know when you'll be starting school?"

Lara nods "That's good. I'm getting kinda hungry and some, savory Meat..." she says with a wink to him "I'm talking about the burgers, of course." she sticks her tongue out, playfully, at him. Her sexual appetite was quite insatiable at times and it was amazing where she got that energy at times. But still, she was only Human and with that, she usually ran out of steam about four- or five-times in.

Delia nods "Yes. Lia-Chan starts next week. Lia-Chan needs to do some school shopping as well." she says as she looks up at Hiroshi "When Onii-Chan has time, can we go do some shopping?" she asks.

Since Delia wasn't too wise when it comes to money, Hiroshi was made in charge of her accounts and since she was a part of that last, even if slightly, she still got a cut of the reward, like all the past missions she'd been on.
