As soon as Kiro gets out, there were paparazzi taking pictures of the prince of the Shokan and his lovely dinner guest, the beautiful and talented Vira Nakeen. He didn't seem to care. Kiro knew his people would keep them from printing anything damaging.

Kiro wanders into the restaurant and was escorted to his privet booth and was served his usual drink and asked Vira what she wanted to drink and handed the two some menus.

Vira went to sit down, making herself comfortable and decided just some soda but she wasn't sure what to eat. This being her first time after all, however she looked at the pictures and decided on that. There was no time like the present and didn't hurt to try, right?

Kiro looks at what Vira ordered and smiles "Ah! Fried Outworld Slaughter Eel." he says, sounding pleased "They gave it a different name for Earth Realm so it could sell, but that's what it is." he says "The crispy skin has a slight sour taste but the meat is so sweet. They really compliment eachother very well and the way they cook it up on Earth is something we Shokan's would have never thought to do before." he explains "We have learned so much from our Earth Realm friends, it's a shame that we don't have much to give in return." he says.

She took a bite of the food before downing it with a bit of her drink, it was different but she really liked the taste of it. "Hm. But you'd be surprised what some of even the little things can do in the long run. And that's what matters in the end, right?" She truly believed that, because she had seen it before often enough.

Kiro nods "Yes, I know. But the whole civilization of Outworld is based off violence and death." he says in a low tone "Aside from military support, there's really all we can do for them." he explains "Maybe we can get them some of our raw materials to make new metals from." he suggests, shrugging.

Vira took another bite of her food before continuing. "That would be a good idea, I'm sure your realm has things earth doesn't. As for your civilization, are people almost all happy with how things are currently or is there any that want a change?"

Kiro shrugs "Well, things haven't changed in over ten thousand years, so I'm guessing they're content with how things are so far." he says "But you also have to remember, the people of Outworld are also long lived compared to humans and most those in Earth Realm." he points out. Kiro was already finished with his meal. Not having eaten much "And with this current ruler, who knows how things will be." he says with another shrug.

"I'm not sure how long many of the races in Outworld can live, but the realm where my people come from along with two others, the average life span is about two thousand years. That's a very long time." Vira paused what she was doing taking a sip of her drink. "But living such a long life has its ups and downsides. Do you like the new leader of Outworld? What do you think of them?"

Kiro shrugs "He's not nearly as bad as Shao Kahn by any means. Still he believes in sticking with the old ways." he says "And those are ways of violence and death for those who can't fight for themselves." he explains "But that's how it's always been as long as I can remember." he says with a shrug "It'll only change if people want it to change and so far, they seem happy with how things are." he says.

Vira nodded a bit to that. "Fair enough. All cultures are different." That was true enough on its own. It was still almost alien to her that people actually enjoyed the violence. Then again, maybe there was also certain instincts that lead to that? It would make sense, given all the kinds of races that existed out there.

Kiro looks around "We just about finished?" he asks "The night's still young and we've got many places to be." he says, looking like he was ready to leave about twenty minutes ago.

Vira nodded as she stood up, offering her hand. "I'm done, I'm ready to go whenever you are." She didn't know where they were going or had any plans, but she wasn't picky. Spending time with Kiro was enough for her.

Kiro stands and stretches all four arms "Alright. Now lets go to a movie or play or whatever you feel the need to do." he points out. It was clear he had nothing planned, just spur of the moment stuff. Still, it was better then how his nights normally were. He walks out to his waiting limo and holds the door open for Vira.

Vira didn't have any plans herself, so she was thinking for a bit. "Maybe a play. I'm not sure what's going on but I'm sure we can find something." She stood up and followed after Kiro, not too long going inside the limo after Kiro opened the door for her. He really was a gentleman.

Kiro was about to climb in when his phone goes off. Rolling his eyes, he looks to Vira "If I may be excused." he says as he moves away to answer his phone "Yes....Now?....And you can't get ahold of my father Or my sister?" he asks "Very well. But just so you know, you have ruined my only night out in weeks." he hangs up and walks over to the limo "I'm terribly sorry, but I must cut our evening short." he says "My royal duties have cought up with me tonight." he explains "I'll make this up to you. In the mean time, my chauffeur will take you anywhere you wish." he says, kissing Vira's hand "Have a good evening, Vira. I shall see you again." he says, then starts off walking towards the Outworld embassy.

Vira was dissapointed but she understood Kiro had other things to take care. "I'll see you later, take care."

Now she had to figure out what she wanted to do, but she didn't feel like going out further for the night since it had been ruined a bit, so she decided to go home. She gave the Chauffuer directions to her home so she could go back for now.

After dropping Vira off, the driver bids her a good night, then takes off. Night time goes by slowly after that and day time comes in, taking it's sweet time. There was a forceful knocking on Vira's apartment "Miss Nakeen, this is the Sokan royal guards!" he announces "We have some questions for you about last night." he states.

Vira was already up and about making breakfast for herself and dressed in some jeans and a black tank top before she heard knocking. There was something in what they said last that made them pause.

Questions about last night?

Confused and also worried she turned off her things and headed to the door. "What did you gentleman want to ask about?"

The guards were glaring down at her (a normal look for most Shokan) "We, Request, that you come to the Outworld Embassy with us." he says in a stern tone that seemed to leave no room for refusal.

Vira frowned, not liking the tone but agreed. "One moment." She went to put on a shirt before coming back and ready to go. Vira didn't get why they needed to go the embassy if they were simply asking questions.

They escort Vira to an armored truck and head off to the embassy. They had no problems along the way. Once there, they escort Vira, with armed guards, to what looks like a safe room. There, Vira seemed to wait for hours, then the door opens and two guards come in, followed by a big Shokan "My name is King Goro." he says in a deep voice "I want to know what happened with you and my son and where he is." he says, folding his lower arms.

Vira blinked, taking in where she was and everything. This seemed more like a interrogation then simply asking a few questions here and there. "We went on a night on the town last night." She explained. "Around close to nine, he said he had some business to take care of concerning Outworld and left and I went home. Did something happened?" She asked worriedly.

Goro leans in close "No one approached either of you?" he asks "No one had called either of you? No one contacted either of you outside of the phone call my son had gotten before he parted ways with you?" he asks. Then 'humphs', then walks out.

The guards follow and Vira was left there for afew minuets. Then another Shokan comes walking in. He was a bit on the small side. He bows slightly to Vira "Good morning, ma'am. I'm here to escort you home." he says in a polite tone.

Vira frowned again, but then turned to the guard. "Okay...but what happened to Kiro? Did he just vanish and no one knows what happened to him?" She asked worriedly.

The small guard shakes his head "I'm sorry, ma'am. But I'm not at liberty to say." he says as he leads Vira out and away. Heading towards her apartment.

Half way to Vira's apartment, the young Shokan glances back at her "I'm sorry for not being able to say anything before, but the guards were watching." he says in a low tone "But yes, prince Kiro has gone missing. Shortly after parting company with you." he explains in the same low tone.
