Distractions

Angel looks over to Vanessa "She's also haunting Aron!" she says with much enthusiasm "She's but one of many ghosts we have roaming the halls of the castle." she says with a smile "Most of them are harmless, however." she assures.

She thinks for a bit "It's actually the skeletons that one must watch for." she says, thoughtfully "They do not like new people and will often attack them in hoards. Mostly Aron, though." she explains "But Worgen is usually there to stop them." she says with a smile.

Aron knew what was coming so warded it off. "And remember, I might not look it but I'm not defenesless either."

While Vanessa wasn't pleased by that, she let it drop. "..All right. You're an grown man and can do what you want, I still worry about you sometimes. But you do have Angel and Peresphone by your side so you'll be fine."

Angel blinks a bit, still thinking "I suppose that depends on the situation..." she starts "If I'm in danger, Persephone will save me over Aron and if there's an instance where I need saving, you know it's bad." she chuckles.

That didn't put Vanessa completely at ease, but she decided to let the matter drop for now. "On an aside, I've been meaning to ask Angel do you know how to cook? I'd be willing to teach you some basics while you're here, if you're interested in learning."

Angel shakes her head "Oh, no. I don't know how to cook, at least not all that well." she says wit a light chuckle "I don't really need to know, since I have Persephone to do all my cooking for me." she says with a smile "And when Persephone isn't with me, I have many other servants to cook for me in her stead." she says, lightheartedly "But tank you for the offer."

Vanessa slowly nodded. "We'll, offer still stands. Even if you have servants, doing things for yourself can feel rewarding on its own but I won't press it further. I'm going to be cleaning up a bit, if you need me I'll be in the kitchen. You're not hungry or anything are you? I assume you ate while away."

Angel nods "I'm fine. Me and Aron had something to eat before we came back, but thank you for the offer." she says.

And with that Vanessa left the two alone as she went about her business for the day, until she was needed that is.

"Hey Angel, just been wondering do you know how old the castle is, more when it was built?" He hadn't found anything about the date, and if anyone knew it would be Angel.

Angel blinks at the question "Castlevania was created by Mathias Cronqvist in the mid 12th century, just after he changed his to Dracula Vlad Tepes and declared himself the Lord of the Night." she explains "Why would you want to know when my home was created?" she asks.

Aron shook his head. "I was just curious, noting more."

Angel nods "Oh. Okay. I'm glad I could sate your curiosity." she says.

He did wonder what Peresphone was doing, he was going to check on them if anything and let her know of the news of her sister potentially coming. "All right. In the mean time, I'm going to see what Peresphone is doing and let her know Jasmine or another one of her sisters may be coming."

Agel blinks "Another one? Whom else would be accompanying Jasmine?" she asks "Aside from Mally, that is." she says, knowing that it was expected that Mally join Jasmine.

Aron shook his head. "I said or not both at once if Jasmine declined is what I meant my mistake. I'll be right back." It would take a minute or two at most before he came back inside.

Persephone was still in the RV, doing nothing important at the moment. Simply reading. She knew that if Angel needed her, she would call for Persephone. As it was, for now at least, Angel was behaving herself.

Aron knocked first instead of just going in, to be polite and habit more then anything else. "May I come in?"

Persephone opens the door to their room "Of course. It's both of our room, after all." she says as she moves aside "What can I do for you?" she asks.

"Angel decided to summon one of your sisters here with Molly's help to help my mother around the house for a bit. So you'll probably be seeing them soon." It wasn't the only thing though. "Also, I wanted to apologize about making you uncomfortable earlier. I feel I was moving a bit fast and maybe pressuring you into something you're not ready for. I'll slow things down a bit."

Persephone blinks, processing what Aron was saying. She had No idea why Angel was summoning one of her sisters. Maybe she wanted to send her back home to keep an eye on things there.

After all, she was pretty strong and if she needed to, in order to help her lady, she would use that strength to keep the peace in the castle. Though, she didn't like the idea of going back home. After seeing the world, that dark castle was rather unappealing t her.

"You don't have to apologize." she says "If a mistake has been made, it was with me and not being the girlfriend you deserve, and for that, it is I, who should apologize." she says.

"As long as it doesn't interfere with my duties to Lady Ange, I shall try harder to be a girlfriend tha is worthy of your attention." she vows.

Aron smiled. "Peresphone, you're fine. You're always been too hard on yourself. It''s all right to want to improve, but don't burn yourself out over it. In lighter news, what have been reading that you've been so engrossed in?"

The demonic maid looks at the book "It's an old book about vampires called 'Twilight'." she says, showing Aron the cover "It's an interesting, uh, romantic comedy." she mumbles.

She sets the book down "It's amazing to think that some Humans actually believe that this is how vampires really are." she says "I wonder how this Human would think of vampires if she ever met the likes of Brauner, Olrox, or even Lord Dracula himself." she points out "Would she still think they sparkled in the sun, I wonder?"

"Oh. That book." Aron shook his head. "It used be the craze back in the day and at least the fans took it seriously and not a romantic comedy. My mother isn't especially fond of it because she is a Nosferartu which is a type of vampire so the sparkle thing annoyed her, but she found it funny later. I think Edward be more along with an Fae. A lot of people don't know that besides the Disney and modern view of them, they often had much darker back stories. Fair Folk is a good example."

Persephone smiles, setting the book down, and placing a hand, gently, on the side of Aron's face "Oh Aron.You don't have tell me. I already know the dark side of most creatures." she says, once more reminding him that she, herself, was a creature born of darkness.

He supposed on that part, he should of known better, but at the moment Aron had something more important on his mind. "That is true, but in more important news I think I have neglected one of my duties as a boyfriend a bit as of late, something I want to fix."

Aron leaned forward to kiss her on the lips; despite the obvious physical attraction, in a way he honestly liked Peresphone eyes the most. It didn't always have to lead to sex, sometimes he just felt like being affectionate towards Peresphone, which was a healthy thing.

Persephone doesn't object to Aron's affections in he least and even enjoys the attention. But she eases him away "Lady Angel is coming." she says.

The sad truth was, as long as Persephone was tied to Angel, Aron would always play second fiddle and they Really couldn't get Too intimate, with the risk of Angel walking in on them at any given moment.
