Dawn of the First Day!

Espen looked around, he'd be able to deal with this on the account of having dealt other things. "That's perfectly fine, as long as I have a roof over my head." It seemed the Outcast to him may have been less black and white since people could have disagreed with how certain things ran and thus lived outside of society but that was a given with politics.

Jennifer chuckles lightly "That's good to know. Anyway, you'll be safe here until I get back. Not that I expect anything to happen during your visit." she says as she bids Espen farewell and heads on out.

Back at the place, Hiromi and Kylie were talking(or at least the little girl was doing more talking, the demon was listening) while Vira and Nikki caught up on various things.

A young Mystic couple come hovering down, landing as gracefully as the rest of their race, and walks over to the front door of the home where Vira and her family were staying, and knock gently on the door.

Hiromi was curious who was behind the door, however she wasn't too worried they were supposedly in a safe area And with herself and the other two Mystics they were more then a match for most as long as they weren't too crazy. Still, Vira's family was like a second family to her so she'd do her best to keep them safe.

"Who is it?" Hiromi asked.

"It's your neighbors wanting to welcome you to Capital City." says a young woman's voice on the other side of the door.

Hiromi thought about it, and getting the go ahead from Nikki she opened the door. She'd found out what they looked like and what they were like soon enough.

They looked like any other normal Mystic. The young woman was blonde and the man had dark brown hair. Both had feathered wings. The woman had light pink while the man had dark red.

"Greeting neighbors." the young woman says with a smile "My name is Lara and this is my husband, Travis." she motions to the guy standing next to her, who was holding something "We've come to welcome you to the neighborhood." she says as she takes what Travis was holding "Welcome! It's a special greeting casserole. I hope you enjoy it." she says, smiling.

Nikki took the carrerole and smiled kindly. "Thank you for the warm welcome. That was very generous of you Lara. My name is Nikki Nakeen and these are my daughters Vira and Kylie."

Kylie stepped on her tip toes to see the food. She of course wanted to taste; never mind Any food here would be from things she had never had before.

"And I'm Hiromi. It's nice to meet both of you." The Dog Demon said.

Lara nods to then "It's good to meet you all. I hope we'll be seeing more of each other in the coming days." she says as she motions for her husband to come along "Enjoy the casserole! Don't worry about the tray." she says "You can keep it."

Hiromi went to escort the young couple out as Nikki looked over the Casserole. "That was certainly nice of them."

A few minuets later, Jennifer comes flying on down, looking to check in on how the small family was doing, before she got to work with Espen's own place. She wanted to see about keeping him in the general area, so that everyone could be close together. "Hey everyone. I'm just checking in on how things are going so far. Just a quick jump on in, as it were." she says as she lands.

Vira was the first to greet Jennifer. "Everything is fine, a couple greetest us a moment ago named Lara and Travis that live next to us. They gave us a bit of food as a gift earlier. Do you know anybody by that name?"

"Itrealgud." Kylie said from her spot from the food they had been given earlier.

Nikki frowned. "Don't talk with your mouth full Kylie." The little girl completely swallowed but looked a bit sheepish.

Jennifer shakes her head "Sorry, no. I live on the middle of the city." she says as she looks over to an approaching royal guard. He lands and she nods. The guard looks to Vira and her family "Ladies." he says, then takes off.

Jennifer sighs "Well, it seems that my Lord Arch Bishop has decided that his friend, Mister Goldsmith, will have a room at the Grand Hall, home of my Lord." she says with a sigh again "I suppose I should head back to the Embassy and inform Espen." says as she spreads her wings "if only i could wingwalk back..." she mumbles as she takes off.

"Wonder what the Grand Hall is like?" Kylie asked more to herself out loud.

Vira smiled at her. "I'm sure we'll find out given enough time sooner or later." She was rather curious of some other things around here but they could wait for now.

Nikki turned to one of the guards that had been assigned to their family. "I'm curious of one thing, does this world have wild animals on it?"

Back with Espen, he was currently resting due to at the moment having nothing to do. On top of that, as usual he had been working himself so much it was something he actually needed a bit more of.

The guard named Bartholomew nods "Of course. We keep most of the troublesome ones out of the major cities, but you'll still find a few in the port cities." he says "The most dangerous of land beasts would have to be the Black Axer. It's the size and general shape of one of your Rhinoceros, but the comparison stops there." he says slowly.

"This beast has jet black almost obsidian scales as thick and hard as any armor and from the side of it's head, grow bones in the shape of a battle axe and just as sharp." he says in a low tone, trying to be creepy.

Simon smacks him upside the head "Stop trying to scare the child." he says in a disapproving tone "Yes the Black Axer is a dangerous beast and yes it's scales are highly resistant to our energy, but the beast is generally only aggressive if you get too close to it's nests or actively provoke it." he explains.

Jennifer gets back to the Embassy, goes through all the flaming hoops and finds Espen "Well, it seems that I won't need to look for a lodging for you, as my Lord Arch Bishop has taken care of it for me." she says "He has insisted that his close friend stay at the Grand Hall as long as you plan on visiting." she explains.

It did scare Kylie a bit, but it honestly didn't take too much to scare the little girl really. "T-that sounds scary."

"We won't be running into it here, so its nothing to worry about." Hiromi assured, she was pretty sure nothing super dangerous would be in a Major city with a bunch of normal civilians. "I assume there's predators as well? The Axer sounds like a herbivore but you didn't say for sure."

Espen got himself up and dusted himself off. "We'll, I can't refuse such a offer. Are we leaving to there now?"

Simon nods "It's an omnivore, but mainly feeds off fish, so we won't be seeing it around these parts." he says "As for predators, you needn't worry about those either." he says. He didn't want to scare Kylie anymore then she already was.

"Don't forget to warn them about the Winged Arachnis." says Bart "It's basically a flying spider the size of a dinner plate!" he says, trying to be creepy again.

And like before, Simon smacks him on the head "While this Is the general area where the Winged Arachnis live, it's very unlikely you'll see one in the city. Just don't go wandering around the Jade Forest at night." he warns.

Jennifer nods "As soon as you're ready, I am to take you to the Grand Hall and get you settled in." she says "And any future visits you will be staying at the Grand Hall as well." she points out.

At the giant spider parts, Kylie couldn't take it, she jumped up a bit. "Waah! Spiders!" She apparently really didn't like spiders.

"Calm down Kylie." Vira patted her sister on the back, but part of her was amused. She loved her little sister but the over dramatic reactions was amusing. She guessed that's why older siblings picked on their younger ones that way, but she had never really done that. "So what is this Jade Forest you mentioned?"

"I'm ready now, actually. I'm not doing anything right now." Espen said. He was also eager to see what the place looked like.

Simon looks beyond the outer walls of the city "Outside the city is a great and wondrous, ever-green forest." he says "It's quite a sight to behold. It's relatively safe during the day, but at night, the strange things come out. So it's best to avoid being caught in the Jade Forest during that time." he warns.

Jennifer nods "Let me inform the Ambassador about what's going on and we'll take off." she says as she starts out, then turns to Espen "If you could, would you mind waiting for me in the main lobby?" she asks.

Vira decided it was a place they Weren't visiting if it was dangerous at night but she wouldn't mind at least seeing it during the day.

Nikki was of the same mind but asked; "Is there any other sights to see that are relatively safe most of the time around here?"

The demon didn't really see why not. "Fine by me. I'll just wait until you're done on your end and then we'll leave to set out."

Simon nods "There are the museums and art galleries as well as the concert halls, there's always someone playing there." he says, ticking the places off on his hand "There's also our libraries, the theaters and of course the Grand Hall." he finishes.

Bart nods "And if you're feeling really adventurous, you can visit the Fire Plains and even climb Mount Magmoor." he says with a grin "That's one place I've always wanted to see." he says, excited.

Simon shakes his head "I highly doubt that a huge field of fiery eruptions and lava geysers is something our guests would care to see. Never mind climbing up the largest and most active volcano in all of Elysium." he says with a sigh.

A few minuets later and Jennifer comes back, checks her badge and escorts Espen to a private airboat. There they take off and speed towards the center of the city, where the most spectacular sight awaited them! The Grand Hall!

Hiromi was actually interested. "That I wouldn't mind seeing in my spare time but I think its safe to say I'm the only one. It's either too dangerous.." She looked to Kylie then Vira and Nikki. "Or just not interested."

"I would actually be interested art and concert halls espeically." Vira said after a moment. "..But I don't think I'll be singing anytime soon I think and not sure the people here would like it."

Nikki gave her daughter's shoulder a squeeze. "If you ever get the chance, I'm sure a lot will."

Espen was impressed as he looked into the background. "I was wondering, why is it called the Grand Hall anyway?"

Simon shrugs "I wouldn't write your talent for music off just yet." he says "Our Lord Arch Bishop had said your music was very soothing to the soul. In fact, there was even a demand for some of your albums, which are surprisingly hard to find on Earth." he points out.

"It's called the Grand Hall, because it's said that this was the first temple to our God, the Mighty and Terrible Galford. I don't know if that's true or not, but it's certainly the most grand one in all of Elysium. So, the Arch Bishop remains as a way to 'keep close' to our creator." she explains.

"Well, that's how it Use to be. Then the old ways just, faded away and it became sort of the capitol building. A place where the other Bishops and different nobility come to delegate the day to day works of the country." she says with a shrug.

"..Maybe. I'll have to talk to Alister about maybe having a concert of some kind for later." Vira was in no rush, it had been quite some time so she'd be nervous about being on stage but she felt once she got there, she'd be ok.

"Nobility? I had no idea you had that here but it makes sense. So does the Arch Bishop have aboslute power of things or there something like a council?" Espen asked as he followed her.
