Road trips

The classic fairy tail made him think of a conversation he had with someone when he was younger.

'Actually a Knight in a realistic setting would die horribly since a normal human wouldn't be able to do anything to a creature of that mass and their armor would be their own oven.'

That aside, he really had absolutely nothing to work with what so ever. Every plan in his head didn't end well, literally the best case scenario was if someone had spiked Angel's drink or made her drunk, the Shokan bouncer would come once a storm was raised. They'd notice her state and escort her out, even if he got tossed out/thrown to jail. If she wasn't, or at least no one had done anything yet would be a tighter spot.

He was going to chew Angel out when this was done. He really didn't mean it, but when people got worried about people they cared about they got heated. It would be best to be in a calm state when he talked her outside of the setting but easier said then done; espeically if he got into trouble over it.

Aron followed the old man's directions, taking the shaft. It was of course a tight, painful fit due to the wings but he could do it..albeit slowly.

It Was a tight squeeze. There would be no way he could turn around in there. He would have to back up if he got into trouble or hit a dead end. Needless to say, that vent would definitely ruffle some feathers.

It took some doing, but he finally made it to the vent that, according to the old man, led to the VIP lounge! Though, from the looks of it, it seemed to be a twenty foot drop from the vent duct.

Aron didn't have much of any options, so he was just going have to drop as carefully as he could and hopefully not make too much noise, then from there see what Angel was up to and if she was in trouble.

The VIP lounge was Empty! There was only One person in there and it was the old man "Hey! Welcome." he says, holding up a glass to Aron "Come and have a seat. Here, I have a drink for you." he laughs "You just missed Angel. She finished her meal and decided to head on home not even five minuets before you got here." he says.

Understandbaly, at that point Aron was a bit pissed. He did some deep breathing to calm himself and sat down. "Just tell me what you really want, she's not even here or was in trouble. I don't mind getting in trouble for a cause, now its going to be pointless because I can't even head back."

The old man continues to sip his drink "I want for nothing. Not even angles." he says as he pulls out something from his robe "And there's no magic. I used this." he says, tossing the keycard that Angel gave Aron "I figured since you were going through the vents, you would mind me using it." he says simply "You should be able to use it to safely exit the building." he points out.

Aron took the key and shook his head. The old man still wasn't telling him much of anything or even why he was trying to help in the first place but he gave up trying to figure out his motives he just wanted to leave and go to bred; he wasn't in the mood.

After he left with the keycard, he headed straight back to the tower. Flying usually cleared his head and at the moment he wasn't in the best mood but he'd a bit better when he got there.

As usual, the Moon revolved around the Earth and it became daytime, once again! Angel was already up, being a morning And night person. She was humming to herself as she casually made herself some breakfast "It was quite noisy at that place...I'll have to talk to Daddy when he gets back about why it was so loud." she says "My ears are still ringing." she giggles.

Aron got up before too long, he was notably calmer now that he had rested. Still there was various things on his mind as is and while he wasn't really hungry, it was never a good idea just to skip breakfast.

Inside the kitchen, there was Angel, wearing a yellow sundress and sandals with sunflowers on the front and a full white apron, cheerfully humming to herself and sitting at the table, was that old man!

Aron was more confused then anything else. What the heck was the old man doing here?

"Morning. Who's your new friend Angel?"

He didn't know what the hell to think anymore about anything.

Angel spins around to face Aron "Oh, good morning, Aron!" she says, cheerful as ever "This is Daddy's friend, Lost." she says with a smile "We were just talking about that place he suggested I go to eat last night. It was really loud." she says.

Lost looks over to Aron "Good morning, my boy! How did you sleep? Well, I hope." he says, sliding a cup of coffee towards Aron "Have a seat. Angel's almost done burning breakfast." he says with a chuckle.

"Uh..thanks." Aron mumbled taking the coffee. He normally wasn't into the stuff much but today he would be. The situation now made a bit more sense. If Lost was a friend then he'd look after Angel and probably was the one that convinced her to go home. But if that was the case, then why try to get him in on things?

The only theory he could think of that made sense was it was some sort of strange test of his character..or something.

Lost chuckles "Why? For the fun if it, my boy!" he says "No one got hurt or in trouble and everything turned out alright in the end." he says, sipping his coffee.

Angel looks over at Lost, confused, then goes back to cooking or lack there of.

"Everyone needs to have some adventure and fun in their life from time to time, or you become a great bore and as you may have realized, the young lady likes to have fun and go on adventures." he chuckles.

Angel turns around again, holding a plate and a frying pan "Breakfast is ready!" she calls as if they Weren't the only ones in the castle. She sets the plate in front of Aron, scrapes some burnt eggs onto his plate, tosses form burnt toast on it, with a fork and a cup of, oddly enough, burnt orange juice.

"Eat up!" she says with a proud smile as Lost chuckles to himself.

Aron was going have to teach Angel how to cook(how did one burn orange juice? Why would she even think of cooking it?)

No use in complaing, he had worse and Angel did put her heart into it and he didn't want to hurt her feelings so he'd have to deal for now. "It's..unique." Aron said slowly after a crunch of the hard toast.

Angel's eyes were all a sparkle as Aron ate her breakfast "So? How does it taste?" she asks, barely able to contain her enthusiasm.

Aron decided a bit more diplomatic approach. "It's good. If you like I can teach a few other tricks too, I've been cooking for a while as well as some new things you might not have made yet."

Angel, still smiling, shakes her head "I appreciate the offer, but I afraid I may have to decline." she says, just as diplomatic "I have others who do the cooking for me and since they're much better at it then I, I had never the need to learn." she reasons.

"True but watching people do something no matter how skilled isn't the same as learning to do it unless someone has photographic memory and even then they might miss some of the other details. But if you're happy with it that's all that matters."

Angel had to have eaten her own cooking before, so her taste buds had to be rather unique. Then again there were people that actually did like burnt things. Either eating her cooking wasn't a common occurence and it wasn't like they were married or together or anything; then it might have been different.

Lost chuckles again "As it turns out, she hasn't. She's never needed to learn how to cook. As she said, she's always had others do her cooking." he says "Remember, she's not from the same, world, as you or I." he reminds Aron.

Aron was silent for a moment, then turn to Angel. "Why don't we give it a try then some time? It doesn't seem like it but cooking can be fun, espeically when learning new things."

Angel thinks for a bit "Okay. We can give it a try sometime and see what we can make." she says with a smile.

Lost stands up with a groan "In the mean time, I suggest you call the downstairs kitchen had have them make you both something edible for breakfast." he says.

Angel spins around "Are you leaving already?" she asks, the disappointment was evident on her face.

Lost nods "I'm afraid so, my dear. I have important things I must attend to." he says "But not to worry, I shall return. I always do after all." he assures Angel.

She nods "Very well. Ave atque vale." she says, holding a hand.

Lost nods "Hail and farewell to you, also." he says as he waves a hand. A spiraling and swirling blue portal opens and Lost hobbles on in, which closes behind him.

Aron didn't know the langauge Angel was speaking in, but sounded like Latin maybe? He wasn't too sure either way. They would see Lost again sooner or later, he was sure of it.

"Let's not have him leaving be a downer for us. After breakfast downstairs, how about we go outside to have some fun? You're already dressed for it." He said.

Angel nods "Okay. But not outside of the castle." she says "Mother said that when wearing dresses or skirts, it was often best to avoid going outside of the castle." she says as she wanders to the com in the kitchen.

That suited Aron just fine, he was pretty sure they could find things to do; as big as this place was in the first place.
