Detour

The even more ironic thing is, that pick up line would probably work. The female Saiyan would have to fight Andrien to see if he was actually strong or not, but other than that, he could probably find a Saiyan woman easy. Provided he was aggressive about it.

Cotto comes walking out of the jungle, he was cut and bloody, but he was dragging behind him a Utah Raptor, which was many times bigger than the standard raptor. He has the biggest shit eatting grin on his face "They thought they were a match for us, but we sure as Hell showed them!" he says as he dumps the Utah raptor in the 'flesh pit' with the others.

Though with Gina, she hadn't given up the 'for now' was literally just that. Sometimes her little brother needed a push, so when they got back and if they had the time, she'd go hunting so to speak. The farm they were staying at would be perfect for that, He'd have to do the rest but she could definitely get the ball rolling. Nothing quite like a beautiful woman they found attractive to get the aggressive side of a man going.

..Well most. There were some who wouldn't do anything even if the woman they liked and it was mutual came up to them naked.. They Still wouldn't do anything. She didn't consider those men.

When Cotto came back, both Alusarians greeted them. "Nice hunting. We managed to get a few ourselves, probably could use some of the parts for things if we need it."

"Good thinking." Gina replied to Andrien. "Though besides the hide and the claws, I don't think a lot of it be too useful we don't already have."

Cotto chuckles "Oh that wasn't the hunt. That was just us defenting what was ours from those who wanted it." he says as he wraps his wounds "Two days from now, the hunt will begin. So we need As much supplies as we can. Food is taken care of, we need water and more weapons." he points out.

He sits and gulps down some water, before tearing into more T-Rex "Andrien, you work on water skins. Gina, packs or satchel for our supplies and some first aid items." he says as he chomps down more dino "I'll get to work on more weapons for us." he says, turning over some ideas.

Gina was looking forward to that, though in the mean time she along with Andrien got to work on their respective task at hand. Both warriors had similar but at the same time different set of skills that sort of complimented each other.

"How long do you plan on having this trip?" Andrien didn't mind being out here for a while since he was more a nature person but he was more curious then anything.

Cotto shrugs "After the hunt, we'll head on out, back to the real world." he says. He would need to visit that volcano where Gina got the obsidian to make their knives and spears. This time, he was gonna make them some bows. They would need some long range attacks for This hunt.

Andrien did wonder what kind of creature it would be, personally if he had to guess it be something big if they were making a deal about it. The rex had already been big enough, though not an expert on earth he did think there were bigger things? They were herbivores .

After a bit, and satisfied with her work, Gina spoke up. "I'm done on my part. Gonna get cleaned up in the hot spring unless you need me to do something else first?" She needed to work some extra clothes for everyone too, later.

Cotto had spent the day trekking up to the volcano to get a Lot more obsidian for their weapons. He had already made three bows and had stringed them. They were pretty powerful. He was happy with them. Now all he needed to do, was make more spears, knives, and a Lot of arrows. That's the part that would take the longest.

Still, once it was done, they would have all the firepower they would need to hint the prey he had in mind.

He looks over to Andrien, knowing that Gina was basically finished with her task "How's the water skins coming along?" he asks. He knew that Andrien had a less than desireable job, since he needed to use the stomachs of the dinos they had taken out to line the inside of their skin, so they can hold water.

It wasn't the most fun and glamrious task he had done but someone had to do it, on top of that he had to do worse so overall he wasn't complaining about the the task. At the very least it was something to help rather then something demeaning that served little purpose.

"I have the the three done." He said, continuing on his task of the husk of the fallen enemies. "And I'm almost done with all the extra just in case we need them with something." He didn't much care for sitting idle if there was work to be done.

By that time Gina had also came back with what seemed to be some cloth clothes she had been working on. Now whether they Needed it now was a different story, though if asked its not like Gina would mind Cotto running around naked.

As the days work had gone on, Cotto decided that twelve arrows each would be good enough. After all, he was running out of supplies and patients for his task. He only had one more dozen arrows to make, then he would be finished with their weapons. Which was cutting it close. The Hunt was in One day.

He also decided to make some bolos for everybody. One each. He had a feeling they would come in handy.

Cotto growls in frustration. He was done for the day. He would finish up tomorrow. He walks over to where Gina was "What are you working on?" he asks as he checks on his wounds.

While Andrien was doing his own thing far as helping goes(the skins mainly still), Gina was too and at the moment still messing with the clothes department. "I'm still working on getting all the clothes done but I should be done soon."
The hide was tough to hatch up but it meant it have a small amount of protection.

Cotto nods "Good. We'll need all the protection we can get. The prey we're hunting, is the largest lamd carnivore this planet has ever had." he says with a grin "And once we take it down, you can say that you can handle any beast without your ki." Cotto seemed to be in his element in this simulation.

"What kind of creature would we be running into anyway?" Gina was mildly curious since her knowledge of things was a bit more limited though she thought that rex thing had been the biggest? Showed how much she knew on that end.

Cotto shakes his head "Telling you about it won't do the beast justice. You'll have to see it to believe it." he says as he goes back to making arrows "After we finish up our work, we should see about getting some sleep. I'll keep watch."

Gina did heed that advice and try her best to get some sleep, she was really looking forward to it herself. As for Andrien he finished as well and was trying to get some sleep it was just slower since it took him longer to wind down after working.

He didn't say it out loud, but Andrien did enjoy the whole outing. On first glance one would think he wouldn't but to also be fair considering his leaning towards nature it made sense. It was for that reason he decided at least for himself, he'd raise a family somewhere quite one day. If he had a say in the matter anyway; cities were fine but they made him feel binded down in long periods.

While his two charges slept, Cotto was busy finishing off his arrows and he was quite proud with how this turned out. He wasn't sleepy in the slightest, too excited for tomorrow, though, it Did look like it might rain. While this would only serve to make the hunt more challenging, it shouldn't impede their progress.

Andrien woke up earlier then Gina did, the later still completely knocked out as she wasn't an early riser. A great many of times this had caused her to miss things, if she didn't go to bed early or have a alarm clock.

"Ugh, morning already?" Gina grumbled after Andrien gently roused her, she got up rubbing her eyes and stretched. "We almost ready?"

Cotto nods "Yes. Eat lightly, we have a long trek ahead and we'll make better time if we're not running on full tanks." he says as he passes them out their weapons "Twelve arrows. Make them count."

While Andrien was fine with it, 'eat lightly' was like a punch to the gut to Gina who Loved her food. Alas, she could not have any but at least there was a important reason for it. When they got to the real world after and got her master plan(TM) under way, she was going to stuff herself with a feast as a reward.

"If we get them in the right spot, twelve should be more then enough." Andrien said as he took the weapons along with Gina, if it wasn't, well that was their problem.

Cotto nods as he readies his equipment "The problem Is, the prey we're hunting, is mostly bone and very little soft bits." he says as he hefts his gear "If we're ready, let's go. It looks like it's gonna rain soon and I would like to be on the move before the floods hit."

That could be a issue, though in Andrien's opinion if nothing else then they be able to generate enough kintetic force in key areas for it not to matter completely. Often times, certain parts of a body even when armored were a bit weaker then others, and if you chipped away the rest fell. Its eyes, or parts of its leg to make it immobile would likely be good test targets.

"Is it by itself or does it have a mate around?" Andrien asked as he got his things to follow along with Gina.

Cotto shrugs "Who's to say? If it's with a mate, that means Twice the glory for this hunt!" he says with a smirk "Either way, this hunt should be one to remember." he says as he starts off "It'll take us a day of fast marching to get to our destination."

Andrien knew Cotto and Gina were pumped about the whole thing which was no surprise; it was kind of like asking if fish liked to be in water or not. In theory he  should be less excited but he wasn't, he supposed it was because he saw this as different then fighting. He didn't hate the later thinking about it, but his wasn't his favorite as he ironically like training more. It was the oddest thing, he couldn't quite figure that part out.

In the mean time, since they had more then enough time Gina decided to ask something. "Say, I have read up on things but its best to hear it from someone who lives here since I'm curious. Sayains don't typically date like a lot of other races, but they challenge another and if or she accepts they have to prove their strength right?"

There was another motive for Gina and that she was thinking of challenging Cotto to a fight to be his mate. She didn't believe in waiting around and just hoping they noticed you. though obvious issue was he was Much stronger then her currently so that be a possible issue. It did give her a excuse to train more, and worse came to worse trying and failing was better then just sitting back in her mind.

Cotto nods as he feels droplets of rain start to fall "While it's true that it's how Saiyans look for a mate, we also have sex for pleasure at times as well." he explains "When we're just looking for a little fun, most any female, or male, will do." he says as he can hear the chattering of some small dinosaurs tailing them. They weren't a problem or threat just yer, but he would keep an eye for them.

Since Andrien hadn't done any reading on it, the subject was entirely news to him but it was interesting, but not surprising of how they handled intimate matters. As for Alusarians it seemed to depend on the culture they came from, there was a misconception that on Alus their culture was somewhat monolith which wasn't true on his limited knowledge.

"Seems we have friends, but just small fry." Andrien said idly. "Worse comes to worse we have another food source if we need it for some reason."

Gina grinned and nodded. "Now you're thinking, but we came prepared so we should be fine on that front. Just keep a eye on the buggers if they get too close."

Cotto stops and takes his pack off "Na. Those little buggers are just hungry." he says as he pulls a dino steak out and throws it behind them. A swarm of Compy come rushing out to savage the meat.

Cotto puts his pack back on and starts out again "I don't think we'll see them again." he says. He seemed pleased with how he handled the situation.
