Han nods "Pretty much. Though, the problem is, even when I take care of this guy now, I would have no idea where the one who ordered the mark would even Be." he says with a shrug "So, I guess we can say the investigation is still on going, or something to that effect."

Devin had been hoping for a slam dunk, though he should of known it wouldn't come that quickly. He wasn't sure how long the case was going on for, hell it could take years before they even found the dude. "Agreed, Just one thing else to take care of..."

He decided to send Cedrick a text said he had a update on the case, it wasn't closed but they had something. Though he didn't say what it was which she understand since phones could be tapped.

Han would have liked it if Devin waited until he took care of the stooge who was sending the letters and hiring hit men, before informing Darkside of any progress, but nothing to be done about it now "I'm gonna get some food for those weren't here earlier. I'll see ya back at the office." he says as he waves and walks off.

Devin could have returned but he honestly didn't really feel like it, so he continued about his business. Though the question of where to next to kill more time..

..Honestly, thinking about it he'd head back to the office but first he needed to grab one or two things from his apartment.

Kyoko jumps down, from somewhere, behind Devin, not caring who sees her "Okay, I have all the goodies in place." she says as she holds out a small, wireless dongle to Devin "Just plug this in and it should sync right up with the cameras." she explains.

Devin looked at the dongle and smiled. "You're a real life saver you know that? So you about finished earlier what you needed to to? That's good news for us at least somewhere. The larger case is still slow, but to be expected."

Kyoko blinks "Huh? You mean the chesting spouse, the security on Calvine Mort's family or something else?" she asks "Because both those tasks are finished." she says.

Walking besides him she looks around, lazily "So, no more missions for today?" she asks. Apparently assignments were missions to her.

Devin gave a mental shrug as he headed back to the office. "A few, I think but not too much interesting ones but something to keep us busy I guess." Once the big case was completed, he was taking a few days off for himself as he felt he deserved it.

As the two head back to the office, Han still wasn't back and Tracy was also gone, with Danny having fallen asleep as his desk. Aki was on the client couch reading something and Oka was, presumably, still in the storage room.

Devin introduced Kyoko to the main work computer. "Normally there aren't as many or exciting ones but if you see any cases, or missions as you refer to them feel free take any that interest you."

For some reason, ever since Kyoko got there, Aki has been staring at her. Kyoko nods "That's fine. When I'm not on a mission, I'll be training." she says "Gotta keep my skills sharp, right?" she says with a thumbs up and a wink.

Devin had noticed that but didn't pay it much mind but he might ask them about that later. One never knew what was going in Aki's head. "Sounds like a plan to me. If you don't mind me asking, how do you normally train? I don't really know a lot about chakra ninja

Kyoko shrugs "I mostly work on my concentration and chakra control for jutsu, work on my aim with my kunai and shuriken. Maybe try to work on a new jutsu." she says "Pretty standard stuff."

Aki finally walks over to Kyoko "Greetings. Ivm Aki Ruto." she introduces herself "Since we will be working together, I have a question, how long have you been dead?"

Devin was confused. "That sounded a bit rude to open with. What are you talking about?"

Aki looks over to Devin "Was it rude? I thought it was a fair question, seeing as how we would be working together." she says "Also, I'm surprised that you hadn't noticed that she wasn't breathing. At all. And in addition to that, she doesn't have a psychic pulse." she points out.

Though he was observant he wasn't all seeing and sometimes things slipped his notice as a imperfect being. All that being said it made sense and more so with how she avoided certain things. "So you're a type of undead?" Devin said to Kyoko. "Listen, if you're worried we're going to teach you like a social leper because of it don't worry about it. We've all seen more out there stuff. You're not a vampire of some kind are you?"

Sure Nosferartu were vampires but they weren't undead like some of the ones he had seen here. She could be a zombie of some kind, but all he had met were dumb, weak and slow. Noreal had dealt with undead, but not zombies in the traditional sense.

Kyoko shakes her head "No, I'm not undead or a vampire." she says "It's a bit complicated to explain, and it's not really important, is it?" she asks.

Danny shakes his head "Not for it isn't. The important thing here is that you're here and you're doing your job." he says

Aki thinks for a bit "I suppose it really isn't important, so long as all the pieces are falling into place, as it were." she says, not sounding very convincing.

Devin was curious but he wouldn't press it any further. "Then no issues with it was more just wondering since it was brought to my attention." He had noticed Ava wasn't around but she was a grown woman and could take care of herself so he didn't give it anymore thought. Everyone here came and went as their schedules went anyway.

Now that That was settled "Well, I'm going to go out and train a bit. If you need me..." she places a number on Devin's desk "Give me a call and I'll be over here in a flash." she says as she heads on out.

Aki watches her go "Very odd..." she mumbles "I'm going to be out for a bit. Make sure Oka doesn't freak out." she says as she also heads out.

Devin didn't think too much of it after the young ninja and Aki had left to go do their own thing. He was still curious of course but he respected people's privacy so if they didn't want to share that was theirs to hold.

In the mean time, he went to the storage room and knocked. "You know Han is gone for the time being. You can come out."

Oka opens the door and peeks out "I know... I can still feel him, you know, through the door." she mumbles "I can feel all of you... I, um, I just can't face him... because of how he looks..." she mumbles.

Devin didn't pretend to get it, he could understand feeling something from them but looks wise Han wasn't really that intimidating. "What do you mean by their looks? Do their looks scare you too?"

Oka blinks in surprise "Y-yes. Of course it does. He looks like, some kind of big, bug/human creature that has a sickly green glow about him." she says "You mean, he Doesn't look like that?" she asks, confused.

"I get it now. You can see what someone is if its hidden or their true self? Something along those lines?" He asked the young woman slightly curious. "And no. Han looks like a normal human to most people."

Oka blinks "I guess? I don't know. Danny looks like a normal person, except for having pointed ears and you like like you, except for the big, gorgeous, feathered -" she catches herself, then "Eeps!" back into the storage closet.

Danny looks over to Devin "Interesting. Everyone else she sees normally, but Han is different somehow." he says as he goes digging in his desk for something "I think I'll give her school a call and see if she's ever done anything like that before." he mumbles.
