On The Road Again.

The trip was pretty uneventful. Jason engages the slipstream drive and they take off at insane speeds many times faster then light. Jason didn't bother giving them a tour of the ship, because the computer could lead them where they needed to go. The only thing this ship needed, were replicators, holodecks and transporters. Then it would be one of the most advanced ships in the galaxy. Still, there was plenty of time for that.

Michelle was wandering around the empty corridors "A ship this size and there's only eight people on it." she mumbles, feeling herself starting to get bored "And the bad thing is, there's Nothing to Do on it!" she complains to everyone around, which was No one.

Key, for her part, was still in her room, resting. She felt her stomach starting to calm down after the initial take off. The rocking didn't help and oddly enough, she was feeling butterflies in her tummy. She believed the word was 'Apprehension', about the planet they were currently speeding towards.

Lee and Jason were in the tactical command room, planning their attack and what everyone would be doing. Each had their own thoughts on the subject and while Lee respected Jason's opinions (since Joseph often did), he didn't agree on how Jason was setting up the mission.

Kail decided to look around the ship before he went to see what Lee was doing, he had a great respect for the Elder Sayain. On his way he spotted Michelle wandering around. "A bit bored?"

Toma decided to go check on what Key was doing before going on his way. Though there wasn't much to do otherwise besides social interaction and reading on the ship. He knocked on her door and waited. Ayda was still in her room, she was reading something for lack of better to do but would join him shortly.

Michelle frowns inwardly *On a ship This big, and on separate levels, what Are the odds of running into him here?* she thinks "I would say that's a forgone conclusion. As big as this ship is, there doesn't seem to be anything fun to do on it that I've discovered." she says "And what brings you to this level?" she asks.

Key opens her eyes. She was having a pleasant dream of much happier times with her little sister. Such dreams for her were rare for her and she tried to cherish them whenever she managed to have them. She slowly gets up and walks over to the door, opening it "Yes?" she asks in a flat tone "What is it that you want?"

Kail shrugged a bit. "I actually just wanted to explore the ship on my own. I have a thing about ships, mechanics and techology in general and this area would be a good place to see certain things for myself. After I was just going to talk to Lee."

Toma almost felt like had woken her up or something with how long she took. "I just wanted to check on you since the ship kinda has a tedency for motion sickness for those not used to it. Sorry if I woke you up or interrupted you from something, I'll leave you be."

Michelle shrugs "There's actually nothing noteworthy on this level. Plus, If I recall correctly, and since my people have great memories so I do, in fact recall correctly, Lee's room is three decks down." she says as she starts off "Have fun wandering." she mumbles.

She needed to find her dad, but since his energy can't be felt like hers, she had No idea where to find him and this ship was Massive so he could be Anywhere on this ship. Still, it was well within her range of communication, so she should be able to talk to him.

Key tilts her head slightly "That's an awfully big assumption to make." she says "If I may inquire, what ever gave you the impression that I suffer from motion sickness or am not use to space travel?" she asks.

"A word of advice: if someone goes to their room, it's usually to rest or to be left alone." she says as she, then closes the door to her room. She was contemplating going back to sleep, but the dream had been lost and she knew she wouldn't have another one about her little sister for a while.

Kail decided to take Michelle's directions after saying a thank you and headed towards there. It did help Lee had a energy signature to track, unlike the two Mystics on board.

After Key went back into her room, Toma left to head back to his own Ayda wasn't actually in there from what he could sense so she was probably just lurking around the ship.

That's assuming Lee wasn't hiding his energy at the moment. Which, of course, he wasn't. He was powered down at the moment and was in the tactical command room. Still planning on what they were going to do once they landed.

Jason wanted everyone to start work on evacuating the Chozo as soon as they landed while he and Lee handled Cooler's men. Between the two of them, there should be no problems.

Lee, on the other hand, wanted to use some of the others they had brought to help thin the ranks. While he wasn't sure about Michelle, he knew that Kate and Key were strong and Jason even said that Toma was strong enough to join them in the main battle, but it seemed Jason was rethinking that.

It didn't take too long for Kail to find Lee in the command room. He was guessing they were planning on how things were going to go once they reached planet side. "Hey. I just wanted to check in and see what exactly the plan was and my role in things was while I'm here."

Jason slowly looks up, glaring daggers at Kail though glowing red eyes "You will be duly informed on what the plan is and where you fit into it when I feel the need to do so." he says in a low tone.

Lee walks over to Kail, ushering him away from the tactical command room "That wasn't the best thing to do." he says "Never mind that we were in the middle of planning a battle strategy, but this is Jason's ship and we're all guests on it. To just interrupt like that isn't the fastest way to gain his respect." he explains.

"When we come up with something we'll let everyone know." he says as he heads back inside and closes the door.

(Since everyone is busy or doesn't feel like interacting, just time skip until someone tries to talk to them or something happens)

There really wasn't much to say or do after that so Kail left.

((Or you could have your characters interacting with each other. Remember, Toma's still out there and while Michelle might not like Kail, she's not expressed dislike for Toma.))

As Lee and Jason were talking things over, a light on the console behind Jason starts to blink "I think we're picking something up." the Saiyan says, noticing the light.

Jason nods as he turns "It's a distress signal from a fellow space traveler who had picked a fight with the wrong people." he says as he taps a few buttons, bringing the ship out of the slip stream.

He pulls up what the sensors were detecting on the main screen. It was a Space Pod and he was in a bad way. Jason scans the pod "One life sign. I'm putting her into hanger two. That's where I have Kail's Space Pod." he says as he locks on a tractor beam, then heads out of the room and off to hanger two.

(true, but if I'm doing that I might as well write a story if they're just interacting with each other)

Kail came back to Kate's room before too long, the young Alusarian let them in. "So, done exploring for now?"

He nodded. "For now, I really like the design of the ship." In the span of short minutes he got the vibe Michelle might not like them for some reason but he could have been reading too much into it. He also seem to have managed to piss Jason off a bit unintentionaly earlier.

So basically right at home.

Since there were windows pretty much on every level, Michelle seemed to be the only one who noticed that they had dropped out of the slip stream. Or at least, the only one who cared.

She sees her dad heading to the hangers and rushes to catch up with him "Hey dad, why have we stopped? We can't be there already, can we?" she asks.

Jason spares her a glance as he keeps moving "No. We're not there  yet. We made a stop to pick up a damaged Space Pod. I need you to go to the infirmary and get the portable med kit." he says as Michelle nods and starts off.

He gets to the hanger as the doors close after safely getting the damaged Space Pod into the bay. Lee shows up as Jason opens the hatch, which was jammed "Here, I know a trick to get them open when jammed like this." he says as he heads over and trips one of the explosive emergency bolts, causing the hatch to fly off.

Michelle comes jogging back into the hanger with the med kit and hands it to Jason as Lee pulls out a young Saiyan Girl "I have a weak pulse and shallow breathing. Her life support must have been damaged." he says as he hands her over to Jason.

Ayda took off what appeared to be some headphones of some kind when she noticed it seemed they have stopped. "What's going on? I thought the trip would be longer."

"Probably something else or they would have said something on the com about arriving." Toma wasn't too concerned, but he was curious.

Key was laying on her bed, trying to get back to sleep, but failing. She had noticed that they had dropped from the slip stream back to normal space, but paid it little mind. If it were important, they would tell them.

She Did, however, sense a new energy on board. It was very faint and she would have missed it if she wasn't actively looking for where everyone was at the moment. This new energy felt like a Saiyan's energy.

This got Key's attention as she gets up and heads out to see what's going on. She could feel Lee and this new Siayan in the hanger. When she gets there, she sees Jason and Michelle in there as well. She keeps back, because they looked busy and she didn't want to get in the way.

It was Kate on her own that arrived at the hangar, she had picked it up but the others hadn't and Kail had went out the room after a bit. She also stayed back after observing what was going on turning back to Key. "Do you know what's going on?"

Key shakes her head "No idea." she says, turning from the hanger and starting off. This matter no longer concerned her and she wasn't going to hang around gawking like someone watching a train wreck.

Jason frowns as their crowd was gathering and he turns on the dampening field in the ship, to avoid drawing anymore spectators "Okay, I re-oxygenated her blood, so she's not in any immediate danger of a cerebral edema, but I would like to move her to sick bay for observation." he says.

Lee nods "Allow me. As a member of the Saiyan Royal family, I'm responsible for all the Saiyans on this ship." he says as he picks the unconscious Saiyan girl up. The space in front of Lee warps and he disappears.

Jason sighs as he looks over to the damaged Space Pod "I'll see what I can learn from this pile of crap. Would you put this back so it can be restocked?" he asks Michelle.

She nods and takes the mid kit and heads on out. She spies Kate as she heads out "Hey there. What's up?" she asks.

Kate was about to leave herself once she got no further of what was going on and they seemed to have things handled. Before she ran into Michelle. "Hm? Nothing, just wondered why we stopped an figured out why when I came here. Guess my help wasn't really needed."

Michelle nods as she heads out "My dad normally doesn't need help with much. He knows everything and does it with the precision that our race is known for. Plus it seems he's done this before." she says.

"I guess so. As long as they're okay then that's all that matters." Kate idly searched for the Ki signature of some of her other friends. Kail seemed to be off still looking at things, while Toma and Ayda seemed to be going in the area for eating, if her memory served. That might not be a bad idea soon.

Unfortunately searching for Ki didn't seem to work on the ship. Since Jason turned on the dampening field, all energy output had been blocked. For the most part, they were all just people now.

Michelle didn't seem to mind or care. It wouldn't be the first time Jason had done something like this. 'Ki sense is a good thing to learn, but relying on it too much can be a crutch.' he would say.

Michelle agreed with him. Ki sense was good, but it wasn't the Only way to find someone. That wasn't her concern at the moment. She needed to restock this med kit and put it back for later, just incase.

Jason heads back to the bridge and re-engages the slip stream drive and off they go once more. He would check back in on Matoto later, when she was about to wake up. He would make sure to have Lee there as well.

Kate groaned mentally, she didn't mind but she wished Jason had told her ahead of time. Oh well. She had to look at the map for a proper way in directions but it didn't take too long.

True enough, Toma and Ayda were eating, we'll more so the later but that was to be expected.

Michelle wanders into the mess hall as well. Not so much to get something to eat, but mainly because that's where everyone seemed to be gathering and she was a social creature more then anything else.

She sits back and relaxes a bit. She was looking forward to the upcoming battle. All of her training had prepared her for just this occasion and she intended to make the best of it.

Jason comes walking in "Listen up. Mission briefing in two hours in the tactical command room." he says to everyone in the mess, then heads out to spread the word to the others.

Despite her half Sayain heritage Ayda had mixed feelings about the upcoming battle while Toma who was used to it was more indifferent then anything else. Kate was nervous about the whole thing still for her own reasons.

Ayda stopped muching on her food to greet Michelle. "Hey Michelle have a seat."

She was going to say something else when Jason came with his announcement. "Hm..guess we'll be getting there earlier then I thought."

"Yeah." Kate said, slightly distracted but pushed it aside.

Michelle nods as she looks out one of the port windows "That's because a Slip Stream drive is faster then most conventional interstellar drives, like a Warp drive, a Hyper drive and especially a Lightspeed drive." she says, surprisingly knowledgeable about faster then light travel.

She then looks around at everyone "If you're all worried about the fight, don't be. My dad is the strongest person out there and if he wanted, he could have easily have teleported to that planet and completed the mission long before we could have gotten there. No matter who they sent." she says pridefully.
