What The Future Holds

Aron didn't say anything after that, he merely focused back on the map from the phone and followed directions. It would have really been nice to teleport, but it wasn't like he had that kind of power. That he knew of, anyway.

None of them seemed to possess the power of teleportation. Angel for sure didn't and if Persephone did, she's been keeping it to herself. The demonic maid was taking notice of s few shady hoodlums who were giving Angel and herself some unpleasant looks that just irked her ire. She felt she would need to Deal with them at some point in the future.

Aron saw them but he didn't do anything just yet unless they actually did something. The two young women could more then take care of themselves but he was protective of them. So with that in mind he continued, but he was being a bit more mindful of what was around then before without directly showing it.

Though she may not show it, Angel seemed to notice everything that happened around the three, even the thugs. She paid them no mind as they were not very interesting to her and there for were not important.

What was important, was getting to Alcatraz and with as few incidents as possible. She wasn't in the mood to play with any goons at the moment. Though, she knew that Persephone would get them before they could even blink in her direction. Which Sometimes took the fun out of it.

It took some doing, along with the directions but they Finally arrived there to where they needed to go. A tour was going on at the current time so the group was more or less just in luck. We'll, Angel more like it since the others might of had some reservations about it.

Angel purchases tickets for all three of them, over Persephone's objections to do so herself and they join the group headed to their destination. It wasn't known what they would find there, being of super natural origins themselves, but it was still exciting for Angel.

Aron still had some reservations about the whole thing but he would have to wait and see. The only other real concern he had was maybe if a spirit was drawn to them due to their nature and attempted some sort of possession. Of course he might just be getting a bit paranoid.

The tour began as usual. Telling of the history of the over hundred year old prison. Angel looks around. She seemed a bit giddy "Can you not feel them? They're all over and they don't seem too happy." she says.

Persephone nods slowly, keeping an eye out "Indeed...and most likely feeding off our supernatural energy to become strong...maybe strong enough to manifest." she mumbles the last two parts.

He didn't want to, but if no one else did it he'd have to act like the 'stop having fun and running with scissors' parent. "I don't think this is a good idea. One of us could get possessed and no one here to my knowledge is a excorcist. Even if not, its possibly putting others in danger."

Persephone nods "I agree. The emotions I feel coming off this place are, at best, rage and the desire to hurt and if we stay here any longer, those spirits might just get that chance." she says to Angel.

The young vampire heaves a sigh that sounds like the weight of the Entire universe was baring down on her shoulders "Very well. We shall take leave of this place." she says as she heads for the door, obviously disappointed.

Aron didn't like seeing Angel like that, but this just was too risky. If Angel was going to be any kind of leader later, she had to understand her life was tied with others. Meaning her actions could effect the people around her. Angel still had a young mind set but that may change later, though she had her moments when she acted more her age.

Persephone leads Angel out, feeling a little better, but not fully. She would breath a sigh of relief once they were off this island "Aron, would you escort My Lady to a safe place. Perhaps a place to eat and I shall meet you both there when I am able to." she says.

Angel looks around, then over to Persephone "Does this mean we can fly?" she asks, sounding a bit excited.

Persephone shakes her head "Not yet. There's a ferry carrying more tourists over. You both can take that back to shore." she says. There was a bit of movement Just out of the corner of her eye and chances were that Aron saw it as well, but from her vantage point, Angel would have missed it completely.

Aron saw..something but he couldn't make it out. However since he didn't see what it was he didn't say anything. "Sure thing. Let's get going Angel. And be careful Peresphone, though I know you can take care of yourself."

Persephone nods "I expect you to act like a complete gentleman in my absents." she says, then heads back inside to do whatever it was she planned on doing.

Angel watches her friend head on inside, as the ferry comes pulling with more tourists visiting the island "I suppose we should be going now." she says in a dismissive tone "So where are we going after here?' she asks.

He wondered what exactly Peresphone was up to, but he would find out when ever she came back. "I'm not sure. haven't been in San Fran too much, besides just random exploring. I know you're a bit put off about not exploring the prison, so if there's anywhere else you want to go I won't say anything."

Angel looks over to Aron and blinks a bit "I'm not worried about the prison. It was boring there anyway. I'm just, in general, bored and don't know what to do...maybe get something to eat?" she says the last part to herself.

Aron nodded a bit. "Sure, I wouldn't mind. It's San Fran so there's more then enough interesting places to eat. If you see anything just point it out along the way."

Angel shrugs "Let us check a local directory and see what places are known for their fine dinning. I want something fancy to eat." she says, back in good spirits again, as if nothing had happened. Like always.

Aron didn't say anything but he did comply with what the half vampire said. It didn't take too long to find what they needed to, though he made sure to get to the nearest one. Fine dinning he could take or leave it, as long as the food was good then to him it didn't matter if it was a hole in the wall.

Angel eyes Aron "Is there something that's bothering you?" she asks "You seemed concerned and distracted about something." she points out.

Aron hadn't really been bothered by anything, he just sort of got caught into his own world from time to time. "Oh, no. Thank for the concern though." He meant it too.

He pulled out a chair for her before sitting down across the small table. The place, he admitted was pretty nice. Not a place he regularly would go too but it was nice to do things like this from time. "My aunt has a restaurant kind of similar to this, but smaller and family owned." It wasn't doing as well last he heard though.

Angel looks around, taking in all the various sights, sounds and especially the smells. Which cause her tummy to rumble, hungrily. Angel looks down at her stomach, then looks back to Aron, scratching the back of her head, sticking her tongue "I guess I must be hungrier than I thought."

Aron grinned. "Have to fix that then. Go ahead and get whatever from the menu. After we're done eating we could head to where ever else you want."

In the mean time, a waitress came over to take both their orders.

Angel only ordered a small dish, despite her being hungry. as hungry as she was, she had gotten use to a certain 'class' of food. Mainly the stuff that Persephone makes for her, so until dinner time, she would endure it.

Aron noticed, he was a bit surprised but didn't say anything about it. Either she wasn't as hungry as he thought, or the food just wasn't quite to her liking enough. She did eat after all, it was just rather small for her was all.

After they were done with their meal, he was back up again. "So after this, do want go somewhere else or back to where we were staying?" He'd adjust depending on what she wanted since at the moment he had no real preferences what so ever.
