Did You Get What You Wanted?

Aiko didn't really get a answer from Samuel, but he seem distracted so she got his attention. "Samuel, is it okay if I help you and Natomi cook things? I can't be by the stove and stuff, but mom and dad said it was okay to give Ingreds..." Her brow forrowed as she tried to say the word. "Ingradants..Ingredients, yes that's it."

Samuel looks down at Aiko with a smile "Of course you may help. An extra pair of helpful hands is always appreciated." he says "Plus, it's never to earily to learn to cook like a professional, right?" he asks with a wink.

Aiko nodded, happy. "Okay, then, um I'll try to practice with stuff later."

After a moment, Emanulle got up. "I'm going get some sleep, I'm feeling rather tired. I'll see you all tomorrow. You coming Michru or staying with your friends a bit longer?"

"..I'll stay." Michru said after glancing to Aiko and Kimiko.

Emanulle smiled at that happy she was making some friends around her age, nodding to the others before heading out.

Marcen decided it was about time for him to head on to bed as well. The evens of the day were quite draining on him. He excuses himself and heads on out.

Samuel felt that the kids would be in good hands with their family and took his leave as well. He wanted to explore this new Super Hero base he had found himself, somehow, apart of.

Before too long, Ramona and the others also went to bed and to retire(Michru being escorted to their room). Kimiko and Aiko shared a room while Ramona and Jerod shared another, which made sense considering.

As for Emanulle he had a hard time sleeping, mainly because tomorrow would be the last day he'd see Terra and the others. It wasn't a day he was looking forward to all and all, but it was for the best for them.

And like that an uneventful night passes and morning rolls around. Which sees Samuel up, bright and earily, making breakfast for everyone. It was something simple. Eggs, toast or English muffins, juice or coffee. He was also making pancakes for the kids and whom else wanted some.

Marcen comes walking in, fully charged and ready for another day! Samuel looks at him "Good morning, my friend." he says as he serves the ninja some breakfast, not caring if he wanted any or not "If I may ask, do you ever leave your beast form?" he asks his fellow Zoanthrope.

Marcen shrugs "I'm not afraid to show what I am and I couldn't care what the Humans think of it. Yes, I've heard of the laws against Zoanthropes and changing into their beast forms. 'Only if or when necessary'..." he says, making quotations "We shouldn't be restricted for what we are." he points out.

"I know exactly how you feel, Marcen." Jack says as he comes walking in "Back where I'm from, mutations like myself were once restricted from using our powers and even had to register them, much like Zoanthropes have to register their beast forms." he says as he takes a seat and Samuel serves him a plate.

Marcen frowns "So what changed? I assume from the stories you tell that you can now openly use your powers. What happened to change that?" he asks.

Jack takes a sip of juice "The Vindicator and the V-Crew happened. He came down on the city like a hot rain and the police were completely powerless to stop them. So, the city needed some heroes and me and my friends stepped up to save the day in a big way." he says, raising his cup "That got them changing their mindes in a hurry." he says.

"It seems we have not yet had the moment for our group but perhaps in time. Though I would things to go without a hitch life never goes that smoothly. Espeically not with notable change like this."

It was Ramona's voice as she came in, bright and early. "Morning everyone."

Marcen nods to her, Samuel bids her good morning as he serves her a plate. Jack simply nods "And for that, I'm a bit glad. If Lexica is the most we'll face while we get on our feet, I'll take it." he says.

"I see what you're saying. Lexica and hers are not the big, mind changing threat we need to convince people that we're on their side." Marcen says "But you would rather have that happen After we come together as a team, right?" he asks.

Jack nods again "Correct. Which reminds me, later this week I would like to have some team building exercises and practice drills." he says "Just to see how we'll handle threats to the city."

Ramona had no problem with that. "That's a wonderful idea, we can't practice as a team if we don't do it enough. We should have them regularly once we get it hammered out."

She thanked Samuel as she began eating, drinking a bit of her orange juice. "Jack, just simply out of curiousity have you ever met a super hero like me full or half during your times traveling or at home?" Ramona was of course referring to a half or full deity. Pretty much the only one she knew was a fictional character Aiko liked.

Natomi came before too long to greet everyone, as did Emanulle and Michru but Manny seemed a bit more subdued today and it had nothing to do with being sleepy. Still he did a decent job of hiding it.

Jack nods to Ramona's question "Since I only travel between here and my own dimension, I really haven't seen anything inbetween, but I have met all manner of Super Hero and Villain. The worst Super Villains would be the Vindicator and his brothers and the strongest Hero would be M-Omega, formally M-Gamma." he says.

Marcen frowns slightly "What was so bad about this Vindicator? If someone as powerful as you considered him a threat, he Must have been bad. But why? What made him a threat?" the ninja asks.

Jack nods "A reasonable question. The Vindicator had this special gem, a shard of something more powerful, and it gave him unbelievable strength, both energy and physical wise and that wasn't even the half of it..." he pauses for the dramatics "This gem wasn't effected by Any of our powers and, when in close proximity, could even Shut Down our powers!"

It didn't really answer the question but Ramona let it go as she listened. "So how did you get around it? And what can this M-Omega do?"

Indirectly, however, Jack had answered her question. Jack shrugs slightly "We had to set up a very powerful dampening field to counteract the power of that gem of his and even then, it wasn't easy to take the Vindicator out. Without his gem boosting his power, the Vindicator is still plenty strong, fast and powerful. And to top it all off, he's made of Omnium, which is Very hard to destroy." he says, then gives the thumbs up "But we managed it."

"As for M-Omega, he's the game changer. His power is that of any and All powers. But he needs the life force of someone to Use this power." he says in a ominous tone "However, to found a way past that. He created a special suit that harnesses the power of the very cosmos and converts it into 'life energy'. Basically giving him unlimited power." he states.

Then he heaves a sigh "The problem is, he's gone to the stars, convinced that his power was too great for any one planet and now, from our reports, he only gets involved in 'Mortal Matters' if the baddies have some kind of overwhelming advantage over the rest of creation." he says, shaking his head.

Emanulle was a bit..disturbed by that. If a super hero could have that power, then obviously some bad guys while may not have the samething had God-like powers themselves. In stories, much less comic books it wasn't uncommon but this was reality and a complete different ball park.

He really didn't want to think of the villians that could give M-Omega a run for his money.

He checked on the clock and stood up. "Me and Michru are going to go for now. The..rest of my family will be leaving today so we're going to see them off. We'll be back in a bit."

Natomi glanced at him. "All right. Saying goodbye's are never fun but I understand."

Ramona nodded. "Be well."

Emanulle and Michru left, though a few moments later Aiko, Jerod and Kimiko finally came down for breakfast. It was the later that was tired; rubbing her eyes.

Jack waves to Emanulle "Give them my best!" he calls to them as they leave. Jack looks to Jerod and his children "Well good morning there, champ! Have a rough night? Not to worry, Buddy's set up to make any place feel like home after the first night." he says as he looks at his watch.

"I also have to get going. I have to meet my old team and talk about a few things with them." he says as he gets up "I'll probably be back this afternoon. Keep an eye on things while I'm gone, everyone." he says with a thumbs up, then heads out.

Natomi waved to Jack, turning to the others. "So, anyone have plans for the day?" She didn't, at least not really.

Ramona shook her head. "Not at the moment, no. Though Aiko and Kimiko wanted to see the Holodeck so I thought I would show them a bit later." It was Jerod who answered next.

"I have a few things I need to write, even if I'm here there's still a few things to do. Other then spending time with my family here, I'll talk to Buddy a bit about a few things. Jack's home is utterly fascinating."

Aiko looked around, then realized something. "Hey! I didn't get to help cook!"

Natomi smiled. "Next time, you have to wake up early for breakfast. Besides, its just one meal out the day; there's others."

"Oh, okay."

Marcen nods "It is and, from the stories Jack's told, it can also be pretty terrifying as well." he points out "Still, Jack won't pass up a chance to talk about it or tell stories of his days on the Omega Team. That was the name of his old team." he says.

Samuel looks over to Aiko "I apologize for that, little one. I felt that, since you're still growing, that you could use all the rest that you could. It helps you grow up strong, if you get plenty of rest. But remember, too Much rest isn't a good thing either." he says to the youngin.

Alice comes walking into the kitchen, looking extremely tired "Morning..." she says in a sleepy tone.

Samuel nods to Alice "I rest my case, little ones." he says to Aiko, refering to Alice over sleeping, as he serves her up as well.

"To be fair, don't we have our things here? I admit its probably tamer in some ways however." Jerod said, greeting Alice as she came, as did Ramona and Natomi.

"Morning Alice!" Aiko greeted before turning her attention back to Samuel. "Hm..daddy says the samething so I guess it's okay. Whatcha going to do today?"

Samuel sighs "Oh, boring grown up things. I have a lot of work and research to do if I am to catch up to the others. After that, I have some training to do, least I get too soft." he says in a sympathetic tone Nothing, I believe, that would interest you, I'm afraid." he says.

Marcen nods, as he lazily continues to drink his coffee "If you wouldn't mind, I think I would like to sit in on your training. Never hurts to learn something new, right?" he asks.

Samuel nods "If you wish to do so, I have no objections. However, I feel that My style of training, will be incredibly dull, when put against your style of training." he says.

Aiko made a face. "Yeah. That sounds kind of boring."

"Boring is a matter of perspective, I think I would like to come too if that's all right." Natomi said. Besides that she had not much to do at the moment. Nothing else required her attention at the moment, and it wasn't like they were getting new recruit or two they had to show the ropes of so soon after this one. So she thought.

Ramona took a sip of her drink before addressing Alice. "Do you have any plans for the day Alice?"

Samuel shrugs "If you wish. As I said, my style of training might be a bit dull when stacked against your." he says as he cleans up after serving those who wished to eat.

Once done, he excuses himself and heads to the holodeck. He clears his throat "Eh, hello, Buddy. I would ever so like it if you could run that program we were discussing last night." he says.

The holodeck's screen flickers to life with information about the program "The program's up and running." Buddy says as the holodeck doors open.

Samuel walks in, followed by those who wished to join him. Inside was a 17th century, renaissance city. It looked dark, dank and crowded. Samuel smiles to himself as he snatches a wanted poster off the wall "Somewhere in this city, is this man. I have to find him. But the guards, who are numerous, have been alerted to the fact that there's someone suspicious in town. I must avoid them." he explains.

He pulls out a watch "I have less then an hour and a half to find and neutralize my target, for when time's up, he shall board a outbound ship and be out of my grasp." he says as he smiles to the others "Time to begin." he says simply as he takes a sudden running leap at a wall and starts to swiftly scale it!

Natomi watched them leave before turning to Macen. "All right, we can use this as a team building excercise. So to make it challenging lets not use All our abilties. You're better at stealth then I am, I'll follow your lead and Samuels."

Marcen looks back to Natomi "If you want to. I'm here the same as you, so I'm following Sam." he looks back to the wall and Samuel was Gone! Marcen blinks in mild surprise "Where the hell did he disappear off to?" he asks, more to himself.

"I am still here." the wall moves, to reveal Samuel. His clothing had taken on the form, coloring and texture of the wall it's self. Much like how he did with the tree the first time they met "Meet me on the roof!" he calls back to them as he continues climbing.

Marcen shrugs and summons chakra to the bottoms of his feet and swiftly runs up the side of the building, to the roof.

Samuel jumps to the top as well "Alright, if we're to do this as a three person team, I would very much like it if you were to play by my rules and use only your natural skills. No chakra, no fire." he points out.

Marcen nods "Agreed. But I'm going to remain in my beast form, if it's all the same." he states.

Samuel nods "As you wish. Though, I will caution you, the people here have never seen one of our kind before." he says "Buddy, would you kindly up the difficulty to level three?" he asks.

After he gets confirmation, he looks to his teammates "The guards will now attack on sighs, should they find us, call for back up and we now have only one hour to find and neutralize the target, who will now be guarded, as he knows we will be coming for him." he says with a smile "Shall we?"

Natomi's fire manipulation Was her natural ability but she no problem not using it. Samuel probably hadn't encountered one of her kind before. Or it was just to make it harder but either way didn't matter.

"Right. Let's do this." Natomi said, her tone to the point.

Just as Natomi's fire manipulation was a natural ability, so was Marcen's chakra. Still, he would respect Samuel's request. Marcen looks around "This city is massive. How do we go about finding the target?" he asks, in full ninja mode once more.

Samuel holds up a picture "We must find this man. Amanzio Chiaverini. He likes to hang out at the local brothel. We need to find him and get the information." he says as he passes the picture around to the others "We can not use force against him or it'll alert the guards." he cautions "Let us move swiftly, but silently." he says.

Marcen nods "Understood." he says as he takes off without a sound!

Natomi wondered how they were to persuade their target if they were not to use force. Obviously, more then likely he wouldn't be giving that kind of kindness of his heart and would want something in return.

They would find out soon enough.
