Vacation Time

Regina leads Monica to her room. It was decorated quite traditionally, as far a Japanese decor went. She sits and motions for Monica to sit as well "Manny has a lot in his mind lately, doesn't he?" she asks "Do you, by chance, know if he plans on asking Anita to marry him?" she asks as she pours the two of them some sake.

Monica sat down to where she was comfortable. "He told me recently before that he wants to, but he wasn't sure if Anita was ready or not. It's been a year, that's enough for some but not for others since everyone is different. I told him not to rush it but don't wait too long either."

Regina sighs "I was afraid he might. Well, there might be some bad news in the future for him. Anita most likely doesn't wish to get married." she says "As to why that might be, it's not really my place to say." she says as she sips her sake.

That surprised her only slightly. "I see. I'll leave it alone far as asking you since you said it wasn't your place. Maybe I'll  talk them a bit later and tell Manny to leave that alone for now."

Regina nods slowly "So, another question. Hypothetically speaking, how would you feel, if at all, if I told you that someone like Ness was going to die?" she asks.

"He's someone who know and obviously respect. You may not consider him a friend, but at the very least you consider him an ally." she points out "Would you be sad at his passing, or indifferent?" she asks.

"After all, Ness Has lived a pretty long life for a normal Human and that life Has been full of dangers left and right..." she says "Maybe it's just time for his luck to run out."

Monica gave Regina an odd look. "That's not hypothetical is it? Of course I would be a bit sad if he died I'm not heartless. Is he in over his head for once or something?"

Regina waves a hand "Oh, no, no. That is a purely hypothetical scenario." she says "I'm sure that where ever Ness is, he is more than capable of taking care of himself. After all, he has survived for over eight Hundred years of wars and other skirmishes." she points out.

She cozies up next to Monica "So..." she purrs "We feeling frisky yet? You've tried the daughter, how about trying the mother now?" she asks in a coy tone.

Monica smiled a bit. "We'll, sure we could manage something or the other.." She leaned closer so she could draw Regina in for a kiss.

Regina doesn't mind "Oh, jumping right in, are we?" she asks as she lays Monica back on her bed and unties her robe "Let's take a look at that body of yours and I'll show you mine soon after." she says as she strips Monica of her robe.

Monica, of course, didn't really too much mind either she was more submissive type when it came to being intimate so that played apart of things as well. Monica was relaxing and was silent for a moment before she answered Regina. "I'm not so sure that's my problem as much as just having bad luck. My very last relationship I had before coming back was with a girl too..it didn't end too well so I don't really talk about it. From my perspective its been a bit longer, I guess because of that dimension traveling so I've been taking an extended break from relationships in general. Maybe its time to get back into things but I'm not going to rush."

Regina mentally shrugs *It seems some people just don't know what they want in life.* she thinks. She also doubted the story that Monica gave her. Still, it was her life and she could do with it whatever she wanted.

'Maybe you should have gone with Ness on his journey. It's made those who have gone with him more amazing than they already were." she says "Calvine Mort is proof of that, as is Ness himself and Cedrick." she points out.

It had actually happened not that Monica knew what Regina was thinking, then again like or dislike it Monica never felt she had to justify herself to anyone.

At her suggestion Monica actually considered it. " I guess it couldn't hurt to try something new. Moot point since he's where ever now outside this reality."

Regina smiles slightly "I wouldn't be too sure about that." she says "I made it so that Cedrick could follow Ness and Calvine Mort has technology that can take you directly to Ness, no matter where he is." she explains "So there Are ways to get to him, if you Really wanted to."

Monica shouldn't have been too much surprised. "I see. I can pay a visit later then. For now I'm going to enjoy this vacation and try to get some sleep. You kinda wore me out." She teased.

Regina nods, smiling "Then my work, is done." she kisses Monica on the top of the head "Sweet dreams." she says as she slides off the bed.

She gets dressed and heads back out. She needed to talk with the others about what they suspected was going on.

Manny was with Michru and Anita in the room currently, the later rather from inution or picking up something hung closer to Anita while watching T.V. though she did end up nodding off, wrapped in a small blanket by Anita.

Since Regina had her little imps disable the satellites for the TVs, all they could Really watch were movies. She also had them disable the radios. She didn't want them to Really know what was going on out side of the hot springs, so they also stole their phones and sabotaged the vehicles, so they were stuck there.

Regina saunters on in "Evening, everyone. What did I miss?" she asks.
