Gathering of Forces

Mad may not have been the easiest person to get along with or be invited to kid parties but he was useful. And now, with everything going on that's all that mattered to him. "Hm. So how long would it take you build one if you got there?"

Hannah shakes her head "It's only a matter of setting the Pillars up and activating them. Then the space bridge will open and we can go to Cybertron or they can come to us." she explains "The only problem Is..." she looks at the Trojan army swarming the city "And there's a whole lot more of them on their way."

"Yeah. Plus we're kinda stretch thin at the moment for any kind of escort.." Calvine was trying to think. "I have ways to see other parts of the city, I'm going to see how our Space Pirate friends are interacting with the Trojan to see if we can maybe take advantage of it in some way. They aren't exactly friends with anyone so I don't expect them to be holding hands."

Hannah wanted to tell him that the Space Pirates weren't there yet, but he probably meant on how close or far they were. Which reminded her, she Needed to leave Now, before the rest of the fleet got here "I need to get to the roof. Could you have them lower the shield when I'm ready to leave?" she asks.

She doesn't wait for him to reply, as time was of the essence. Once she got to the top of the building, Hannah's hair, skin, and clothes start to unclick and transform, like she did before, and she changes into her Cybertronian form, she jumps into the air and transforms into a Cybertronian jet and shoots off! She was almost immediately followed by Trojan Fighters!

While this was happening, Calvine decided to use his Temjin flight mood to good use in attempt to cover Hannah. There wasn't anyone else that could really help and a lot of the holo fleet was in space so he was going to do the best he could for whatever it was worth.

Hannah was far from being helpless as she flips, rolls, and turns, avoiding enemy fire. She also breaks, getting behind the fighters, with Calvine's Temjin and lets loose in a gail of her own fire.

Just then, something slams into one of the enemy fighters! It was Jack! He his the fighter so hard that it's shields had failed. He plows straight through the fighter, then slams into another, this gets the attention of the rest.

"Go! I'll be fine!" he yells into his link as the fighters converge on him and he shoots away.

"Calvine, the rest of the Trojan fleet has arrived." Cedrick says as she was monitoring the battle in space "And it seems like they have figured out how to disable our holofleet." she says.

Calvine felt the situation kept getting him more and more wonderful surprises along the way, he guessed it was to be expected. "We can't seem to catch a break. Any updates on the pirates?" He asked as he focused on the task at hand.

Cedrick shakes her head "I would not count on them." she says "After all, it is likely that they are only going to show up to take advantage of the situation." she points out.

The ground forces were pretty much under control, it was the forces in space that they needed to worry about. While Cedrick wished Ness was still here, they certainly could use his knowledge, she had confidence that they could win the day on their own.

Calvine knew that of course, he was just hoping that maybe there was some good that could come out of it if they played their cards right. In the meantime he focused on what he intended to do in the first place, if they got through this in one piece hopefully earth wouldn't have anything major for a while.

Out in space, where Hannah was, about two dozen Destroyer class ships drop out of warp. They were surrounded by Dozens of Troop Dropships as well as dozens of Support Ships. There were Hundreds of Fighters per each battle ship. It seemed the Trojan ment business. Off in the distance, was a Singular Ship, staying away from the battle.

Something close to the Earth shimmers and uncloaks. Ot was a Borg Tactical Cube and it was Massive! It was almost the size of the Moon! It opens fire with an insanely precise volley of quantum antiproton beams, cannons, and quantum tricobalt torpedos! The quantum nature of the Cube's weapons allowed them to pass through most of the shields of the weaker ships, destroying most of then instantly!

The Cube hails Calvine. It was Zero "Sorry for being late. It's not easy moving a ship This size through subspace. Stand by." he says. The Massive cube suddenly flashes slightly in the middle and splits into Eight tactical cubes, each sizable bigger than most of, if not all, of the Trojan flag ships!

Calvine did briefly wonder if splitting the Borg Cubes up was the best idea, though he could see the pros and cons of it. While normally splitting apart meant something was weaker, he couldn't say for sure and even if it was, since the space forces were spread out and the Trojan had disabled the holo fleet they had to spread out.

That all being said, he could very use his Own fighter to lend assistance granted it wouldn't be as much just being by its lonsome but it was better then nothing.

The Trojan were disabling the holofleet with emp torpedos, which could be shot down. The problem was, shooting them down, also set them off.

Cedrick knew that splitting the cube up was a tactically sound move. As it turned one big, slow object, into eight smaller, faster one.

However, they, they were taking up position around the Earth and in a move that one could call crazy, all eight cubes started extending their shields around the Earth, which encompassed the whole planet!

The problem was, the amount of energy they were using was Tremendous and they couldn't attack in vollies like they once could, but at least the Earth was safe from farther invasion.

With what he had seen, Calvine decided to leave the space battle alone for now at the moment and would check on them later to see how things progressed. There was still the ground things to worry about even if space(at least currently) wasn't an issue.

Cedrick walks over to Calvine "I have been studying what little we know of the Trojan ships and I have come to the conclusion that they use a warp drive system not all dissimilar to our own." she says, showing him scans of the Trojan warp signatures and their own, they were almost a 100% match.

"I can not say for certain, not without seeing their warp core, but I believe I can remotely trigger a breach in their reactors." she says as she brings up the read out of a tachyon particle "If their warp cores work like ours do, mixing matter and antimatter, than it should be possible to destabilize the matter within the intermixing chamber by introducing some tachyon particles to it. Which we can do with our holoships."

That information was Very useful if true. "This could be the break we need, if we could at least get some of the bigger capital ships to help cripple the fleet that put earth a much better position."

Cedrick checks a read out "The Space Pirates have arrived. They are dropping out of FTL all around the planet." she says as she shows Calvine a read out of the battle. There were hundreds, if not thousands, of Space Pirate ships popping up all around Earth.

Calvine didn't like this news but nothing he could truly do about it at the current time. "Now the rougher part of the storm gets here. Seems like there's thousands of them so its a full on force." The question of why all of them now?

Since the holoships had NS-5s on them, it was easy for Cedrick to explain what they needed to do. And since Paragon Corp's communication system was about 400 years more sophisticated than anything the Trojan currently had, they couldn't jam their coms.

The Space Pirates, for their part, weren't doing too bad. Their ships, naturally, weren't as shielded as the Trojan ships, but they made up for that in numbers and weapons!

Cedrick goes over her caluclations one more time "We may only have one shot with this strategy. Once we use it, they will likely put counter measures in place." she says. She looks back to the screen, which had all the captains of the holoships on them "Target as many of their capital ships as you can and fire when ready." she orders.

Calvine hoped this idea worked, because if it didn't it be another big set up they couldn't really afford at the given time. "We'll have to see if it works, if it can take at least some of the high priority its going to help us a hell of a lot."

At Cedrick's command, the holofleet targeted the Trojan capital ships and launched the tachyon particals and nothing happened!

Cedrick's face was blank as she looks over her data "Perhaps I had miscalculated something." she mumbles, looking over her data.

Suddenly, the targeted ships exploded! The resulting antimatter explosion also destroyed any ships nearby as well, and just like that, over a hundred ships were simply gone!

Cedrick nods "I see where I miscalculated..." she says "The reaction wouldn't be immediate, as it takes a little bit for a warp core to explode after a breach." she explained, though, not that she needed to, as Calvine already knew this from his time at Starfleet Academy.

The holoships didn't stop with the first volley, they targeted another round of the Trojan ships, which exploded just as the first did. Another hundred, or so ships gone. The third volley, however, didn't work, as they likely shielded their warp cores.

Cedrick nods "That was one more volley than I thought would work." she says "However, we had delt them a hard blow and, I believe, given them pause." she says as she goes back to work, looking for anymore weaknesses they could exploit.

That did exchange did get Calvine to thinking of something. "Wait a second. Trojan are cybernetic in part right? And we have some of their remains..so maybe its possible to figure out a way to disable that part of them to kill or cripple them?"

Cedrick looks over to Calvine, quarks a brow "You are asking me?" she asks "I am a warp field and propulsion specialist. I'm not an engineer. I believe that is your department." she points out.

Cedrick did had a point, he wasn't sure what he had been thinking there for a second. "You're right, just had a brain lapse for a second. I'm gonna go to my lab and I find anything about what I said it'll be a game changer."

Cedrick tosses a data padd to Calvine "If you have any ideas, put them on this and transmit them to me." she says "I shall continue searching as well." she says.

She heads to her lab as well, checking in on the ground forces and the space battle. The ground forces were doing alright, not great, but just alright. The space forces weren't doing too well. Over 50% of the Space Pirate forces had been whiped out and only 20% of the Trojan armada had been destroyed.

Calvine headed to his lab, but he decided instead of trying to reinvent the wheel, maybe Ness had left behind something he could use? He had encountered the Borg and probably other cybernetic life forms so maybe there was something he could use.
