Waiting

Ness nods "That tells me we're going to need a cloaking device and I know just how to make one." he says as he smacks Calvine on the arm "Come on, buddy! We got some things to build!" he says.

(Not sure how you want to handle it, Calvine and Ness will be here for a while so maybe a long time skip will be needed)

Calvine chuckled as he got his own tools together. "Just like the old days. All right let's get to work.."

Ness nods "Okay, I'm going to start on the matter/antimatter containment chamber, warp core, warp nacelles, the cloaking device and impulse drive." he says "You work on the life support, deflector array, sensors, shielding array and transporters." he says, assigning them their duties "And together we'll come up with the design of the ship."


((Long time skips won't be necessary with Ness and Calvine both on the job!))

Calvine nodded as he began getting his own part in order. "Sounds like a plan to me." So there was the ship, the android and the security system to work on. It was going to be a busy time.

((We can hold off on them for a bit, until sometime later if you wish. Give them time to complete some of their stuff.))

Fine with me. Be also a excuse for the few days for KOS-MOS to fall through

((Eyup. Do you want me to start the ball rolling when KOS-MOS is ready?))

Yeah, sounds like the best bet.

((And So...)

It's been a few days of almost nonstop work for the boys, only the essentials, at least for Ness. Once he got going, it was like there was almost no stopping him. However, he Did stop when his phone rang. Since he jumps from dimension to dimension, someone calling him is a big deal for him.

He flips his phone open "Yes?...Really.....Will it recover?.....Hmmm.....Okay, I'll be there in a bit." he says, hangs up and looks over to Calvine.

"KOS-MOS is almost finished rebooting. However, Lee and Dino say there have been some memory errors and she can't access her more recent history." he says with a shrug "Oh well. As badly as she was damaged, I would have been surprised if there wasn't Some memory loss. Anyway, I'm gonna head over and pick her up." he says.

Calvine was fine with that. "All right, I'll be waiting. I have another day or so before I have get on the move again anyway."

Ness gives Calvine a sideways glance "On the move? Where are ya heading off to? I thought this was your main location." he asks.

Calvine shook his head. "Business things, family matters and other stuff. It IS my main location but me and my family aren't always here in Tokyo if things are busy."

Ness nods "Hm. Well, have a safe trip. I'm gonna bounce. I Should be back in a day, maybe less." he says "Could you keep an eye on Cedrick, Anita and Kitt? They tend to get a bit restless when they have nothing to do and unsupervised, who knows what trouble they could get into." he says with a chuckle, before heading out.

Calvine really didn't want to baby sit grown people, espeically since he would be busy enough he wouldn't be able to keep as much of a eye on them but it wouldn't be long. "So you two have a place you guys are staying at?"

Cedrick looks over to Calvine "Yes. Despite what Ness had said, we are perfectly capable of taking care of ourselves." she says in an even tone.

Anita nudges her "Come on, lighten up. Ness are only joking." she says.

She looks over to Calvine "So, what all have you invented lately? I mean, I hadn't heard of any of your inventions hitting the markets or...well, anything." she mumbles the last part.

Calvine shrugged and handed her a data pad, it seemed to be a security system of some kind. "I've been working on mostly small stuff, so not surprised. A little thing to improve that, something here, small niche stuff. I'm doing the minum possible to get decent amount of money while keeping a lower radar. At least, until I get on my feet."

Anita nods "You know what I would do if I was able to? I would build an early warning and monitoring system to keep an eye out for any more would-be invaders like those Space Pirates." she says.

"This world's got enough problems already without needing to worry about aliens bent on conquering it." she mumbles.

Calvine nodded slowly after being silent. "That actually wouldn't be a bad idea. It's something to think about, I think I'll bounce the idea off Ness while he's here. Though, I'm hoping when I get this ship out and this place has more contact with other races it'll make them ease up a bit. The Mystics are a start, but there's much more out there. For better or worse we can't hide in our bubble forever."

Cedrick nods slowly "According to Ness's notes, if left alone he is able to put together a first class starship in a month or so." she explains "However, I suspect that will not be the case here." she says.

Anita nods "That's right! With the two of you, I would say a few weeks, tops! Of course, that'll also depend on how big the ship is going to be." she points out "You know, while you're waiting for Ness, you Could come up with a design for your ship." she suggests.

"I'm already thinking about that. I'm more thinking about the other stuff such as the red tape. How am I going to reveal things once its built? Who am I going to get to pilot it? Etc, etc. It goes on." Calvine said.

Cedrick shrugs slightly "I would not burden yourself about such details and would, generally, leave such things to Ness." she says lightly "After all, he does know how to handle such sutiations as 'red tape', 'governments' and 'the press'." she points out.

Anita nods "That's right. He's been alive for almost nine-hundred years, so he's Got to know how to deal with things like that. I'll bet he also knows how to train others on how to fly a starship." now it was Anita's turn to shrug "If nothing else, you can always build a simulator to train people on how to run the ship." she suggests.

"Hm..I guess you're right.." Calvine seemed to be thinking of something as he went back to work on something on his data pad, of what who was to say but probably related to the ship.

Cedrick had nothing else to do here, so she decided that she was going for a walk. She starts out, feeling the sensation of boredom. It was very unappealing to her.

Anita had taken an interest on the general goings on of the lab that Calvine had lead them to. She felt an almost overwhelming urge to Fiddle with things.

Calvine always apperciated a curious mind, but Anita curiousity could get her hurt so he more or less let her fiddle with things to learn, but made sure she didn't mess with any of the dangerous stuff in the mean time.

It was about this time that Ness comes walking back inside with the gynoid called KOS-MOS. He stops "Honey! I'm Home!" he calls.

This gets Anita's attention, who was about to fiddle with something she probably should be. She sees KOS-MOS and frowns at the sight. You know what feeling you get when you don't like someone and you know just met them? Anita was getting that feeling.

Ness walks over to Calvine "Where's Cedrick?" he asks.
