Fallen From Grace

It had been a short time since Vira had to move away after Kiro's death and her own death being faked so she could get away and lay low. She not only changed her hair color, but she went under a different alias as well 'Celias' is the name she went by at the moment.

Besides having to stay away from her family, she was still in a daze of what happened; almost in denial that Kiro was dead until  a numb sense of acceptance came over her. She missed him so much, she wished she could have spent more time with him, that she got to tell him how she felt. If things went well, maybe even start a family with them but it wasn't meant to be.

The insane Mystic Amadeus had killed him and she had been utterly powerless to do anything at all against them. If only she was strong enough to do something, then Kiro would still have possibly been alive but she wasn't.

Vira wiped her eyes due to them tearing up a bit with the sleeve of her white shirt. It didn't matter if she wasn't the strongest person if maybe she could have proof who the Real killer was then maybe, just maybe at the very least someone else could bring justice to Kiro and no doubt the many others Amadeus had hurt in the past.

She wandered somewhat lifelessly around, not having a real destination of any sort at the moment.

A man dressed in a white suit, with light gray hair and white feathered wings, comes walking over to Celias "Excuse me, young miss, but may I ask if everything is alright?" he asks.

No..nothing was all right. Kiro was dead, she couldn't even contact her family and that monster was still free without as even much a slap on the wrist.

But there was nothing she could do about any of that for now so she'd tried not to drown in her negative feelings. "I'm..."

She sighed. "I'm not okay. I lost someone I cared about a lot and..I'm going through some other personal things right now."

The man was silent for a bit "I truly am sorry to hear of your lose...I know how you feel...I had lost my sister not too long ago..." he says in a low tone "My name is Alister." he says, offering his hand "Would you allow me the honor of buying you a drink to ease your troubled soul?" he asks.

"I'm sorry for your loss too. As for a drink..all right but I've never been one for alchol." Maybe she could find a brief moments of distraction wouldn't hurt. "My name is Celias Wilder, its nice to meet you."

Alister gets a look at Celias, as recognition lights in his eyes. He nods in understanding "It's not alcohol. It's a special tea from my home land." he says as he leads Celias to the Mystic Embassy "This is where I stay, when not traveling. It keeps me close to home." he explains.

It took a moment, but she wondered why she didn't reconize who the man was earlier. Probably had to do with her slump and not thinking clearly.

"Hm..all right.."

(OCC: Wasn't it mentioned Alanna was alive but held captive by the Outcast?)

Alister escorts Celias past the guards and to his study. One of his maids already had the tea warm, ready and waiting for the two of them. The maid pours the tea as soon as they sit "Thank you, Suki. You may be excuses. But please leave the tea." he says. The maid bows and wanders out.

((ooc: It was said that she was alive and Alister went looking for her, but found nothing. Even if she did get away, she's not a fighter and would have surely died in wastelands. He, himself, had given up on a fools hope, but there are others who are still looking for her.))

Vira was making a few glances around the place; this was the first time she had ever stepped foot in the embassy but she had heard of it. She politely thanked the young woman as she left and took a sip of the tea, it was nice if different.

"I've heard of the embassy but never stepped foot in here. I don't thinnk its open to the public still is it? At least the home world."

Alister shakes his head "Not at this time, it isn't." he says "Though, once a few...loose ends are tied up, it'll be open to the general public. But for now, it's only open to dignitaries and government officials." he says. "I could, however, make an acception to this rule." he says, sipping his tea "Atleast until things settle down, miss Nakeen." he says.

"W-what how did you know it was really me?" She hadn't said her last name and she changed her hair color and even how she talked a bit to throw people off so she wasn't sure how he had gotten who she really was.

Alister lifts an eyebrow slightly "You've changed your hair, the way you talk, even your name, but your face and eye color remain the same. As does the rest of your physical appearance." he says "I had seen you before the incident with the Shokan and could recognize who you were based on your past appearance." he explains as he sips his tea again.

"That's why I wanted to take you someplace safe." he says "If I could figure out who you were, there's a chance that others might and while King Goro believe you dead, he has informants everywhere and it was only a matter of time before he found out that you were alive." he points out.

"I assume that it's because of a Mystic that all this has happened. You, the Shokan prince, the war with the Shokan and Mystics." he says in a low tone "If... it's not too much to ask, could you explain what happened?" he asks.

Vira finally sighed and dropped the act and started to explain going from the beginning to the end.

"Then when Amadeus attacked Kiro.." She almost snarled at the name. "I couldn't really do anything I-I was too weak to. If I wasn't so damned weak.." Vira wiped her eyes again with her sleeve. "I'm sorry its just.."

She took a deep breath forcing herself to reign in her emotions. "..After that, the rest is pretty much history and I've been laying low ever since.."

((ooc: I don't think that Amadeus's name was mentioned during the time Vira was being held, but we'll just assume that she found out his name somehow.))

Alister frowns as he listens to Vira's story "Amadeus Mortrum. Are you kidding me?" he mumbles. Then looks to Vira "Don't beat yourself up over what happened." he tells her "Amadeus Mortrum is one of the, if The, strongest of my kind. The fact that you've faced and even attacked him, and that you're still alive, really says something." he points out.

Then he gets to some serious thinking "First he attacks the Hunters and put us as war with them, then he attacks the Shokan Prince and gets us fighting them as well...I know there's a plan here, I just can't see it yet." he mumbles.

Then he shakes his head "If you wish, I can bring you to my home world and keep you safe until this all gets resolved." he offers "And try not to worry, Shokan are as tough as they are stubborn and they are quite hard to put down." he says.

(My mistake. So does that mean Kiro is alive going by the last comment? Everything seems to imply he died. If he isn't dead then some of the post with Vira don't make sense)

"I..don't have many options so I'll go." Vira didn't really have much to say at the moment. "I don't understand why he let me live after I attacked him. I'm not a fighter and definitely didn't fend him off. Unless he has something planned by me being alive."

((ooc: Like anything on the True, it's a possibility.))

Alister heaves a heavy sigh "I know why he left you alone and you won't like it..." he mumbles "He left you alone, because he didn't think you were worth his time or even his effort." he mumbles "Besides, our energy weapons will disappear soon after leaving our hands, so it would make it like you were the one who attacked the Shokan prince." he says thinking.

He gets up and looks towards his door as his assistant comes in "I would like you to escort our guest to my Elysium home in Capitol City." he says "I would also like you to contact Espen for me. Ask him if he would be willing to meet me at his earliest convenience." he says, then looks to Vira "When you're ready, I shall have some of my guards escort you to the Gateway." he offers.

"I figured that much already. I just thought maybe there was something else I was missing." She mumbled before shaking her head again. "I don't really have anything to worry about so I can leave right now. I basically have what I need already on me, the other things can be dropped. I didn't know you were friends with Espen. He's a good man I've known him since I was a little girl, .but he needs to slow down before he tires himself out."

Alister smiles "Espen was one of the first people I met after coming to this world." he says "He a good friend and will bend over backwards to help someone. I'll give him a call and see what he can do from his end about this matter with the Shokan." he tells Vira "I would also like him to check in on your family and maybe send them to Elysium as well. The Shokan are known to be Very strict when their honor demands something, I've learned." he mumbles the last part.

Vira frowned a bit to this. "So you think they would drag people that had nothing to do with it in as well? If so..or there's a chance its not something I want to take." While she loved Kiro, if she was honest there were some parts of his culture that felt appalling to her. Her adopted mother was pretty much defenesless and her little sister wasn't older then five.

But would they Really do something like that?

After thinking it over for a bit, Alister shakes his head "No. I don't think they would harm an innocent person for the sake of their revenge." he says "If you had a son, King Goro might demand his life in exchange for that of his sons. Remember, they are still a very brutal race." he points out "But no. My concern, is one of their Many enemies wanting to capitalize on this tragedy by making it look like the Shokan sought revenge by harming your family." he says.

"If they did that, then it would be to make the Shokans look bad.." Vira was thinking. "That's one thing I don't know about is their enemies but its not a surprise they have some."

Alister nods "They have a lot of enemies and some are just as strong as the Shokan. Still, that's why caution is needed in handling this situation." he says as he motions for Vira to follow "If you like, we can hold off on sending you to Elysium until your family gets here, that way you all can make the Crossing together." he offers.

Vira didn't mind that idea, in fact she'd feel better for it. "..All right..I think that would be a better idea. Espen can definitely help if he knows to have people watch after them afterwards now that they might be in danger. He might not be as strong as others, but he does know very powerful people."

Alsiter nods "Indeed he does and one of them is the leader of a powerful race who have very strong warriors who will ensure your family comes to no harm." he says.

Two royal guards come walking over "You summoned us, Arch Bishop?" one asks.

Alister nods "Yes. Our guest will give you instructions to a location with some of her family in it. I would like you to explain the situation to them and bring them here, should they wish to." he explains.

The guards nod "And should they refuse?' he asks.

Alister doesn't miss a beat "Then are to take up a station where ever they go and protect them from anyone or thing you perceive a threat unless told otherwise by your charges." he orders.

"I have their address here.." Vira handed one of the royal guards their residence after writing something down. "They should be there. I also added a few other places they frequent as well."
