Finding Your Place

Sam nods with a smile "I believe you may take as much time to figure yourself out as you need. After all, that is why Mondo was called." he says as he pats his friend's shoulder "Come. Shall we return to the base?" he asks, he also had his own matyers he needed to talk to someone about.

Cadmus did feel a bit better, he guessed that's why so many went out of their way to talk to them when they were feeling down. "I'm ready. I should get prepared to leave and pack my things."

Sam nods "Just be sure to let Marcen know you are heading off before you go, that way he can let Jack know when he gets back." he says. He needed to talk to Marcen as well, about his own matter.

"I will. Just have to find him." Marcen was a hard man to find sometimes when he wanted to at any rate even if he Was technically there at the base. But made sense given his profession and all.

Nornally that would be true, but since he was in charge until Jack came back, he would need to be reachable at all times and so, he was in Jack's office going over some papers and reports.

Cadmus found them before too long using uncommon common sense, sounded like a oxymoron until you thought about it for a moment. "Do you have a moment? Need to talk you about something."

Marcen puts his reports away "Every time they say we're becoming a paperless society, I get at least five more reports to sign." he complains before focusing on Cadmus "Sorry about that, just needed to vent a bit. What's up?"

Cadmus didn't envy the paper work, it just was normally a boring and thankless job where you felt time slipping away. Right now that wasn't too important. "I was having a talk with Sam earlier, and generally thinking about things, and I think I should give myself a break to clear my head. Not leaving for good, just something of a mental wellness check is the closes thing I can think of."

Marcen nods "I can certainly understand that." he says "Take as much time as you need, but remember, even when you're on, if you need help with something, just give us a call and we'll be there."

Cadmus gave a small smile at that. "Thank you, I mean that. I'll keep that mind just in case. I'll see you later Marcen."

He didn't have much far as personal belongings but he did take some things with him in his apartment and packed. Once that was done, among other things he used a portal; it was time to spend time with his family and heal a bit more.
