Crippled Flame

"Yes... it simply... takes longer.. to move through... the shadows... but no more... than two..." the Obliterator warns.

The young Blader was right where she said she would be waiting. She had gotten herself something to drink, while she was waiting.

Hiroshi came back to his 'guest' before too long. "She just told me something big is going down and she can't leave. She said you go by Rei-chan or Reiko as your normal name if that means anything, I can't force you to go and I can't make your sister leave either with what was said. So if you want to see them, you're going have to head to the HQ with me."

If she was the sister, did that mean one or both parents were around? He always assumed Oni just poofed into smoke but obviously at least with some they had normal reproduction. It was silly, but to be fair some of the other Oni didn't seem to have notable genders, at least with the more monster-like ones.

Reiko looked shocked "Go to the Hunter stronghold, are you Insane?" she asks "Clearly the Hunters have a spell over my sister and are forcing their will upon her... cunning devils. I'll have to go and get some help if I'm to rescue her." she mumbles, nibbling on her thumb nail.

"I know Hunters don't have the best reputation, but they aren't the bad guys. I'm not exactly human myself and they haven't clunked me over the head or tried to kill me just because. Granted, you don't have reason to take my word for it.."

We'll, this was going nowhere fast he'd probably have to leave soon since there wasn't much to convince Reiko if she had a certain belief in her mind. Though he had a nagging feeling he'd regret not being around if he left with how things were now, so he put his other plans on hold for now.

Reiko waves a hand "Begone, monster. And take your rather attractive host with you, I have planning to do..." she mumbles. The major drawback to Any plan she would come up with, is that she's only One person who doesn't even know where to find the Hunter base.

"Is it wise... to dwell on this... pest..?" the Obliterator asks "She is... an idiot... and we have... someone who needs us..." he says, reminding him that Taki might be in trouble.

Hiroshi shook his head once again, Taki Still hadn't gotten back to him which worried him so he attempted to call Usagi to see if they had seen them lately, and barring that other people on the list like her parents or Emus and his sister.

It goes straight to voice mail again "The best place... to look... would be... the school..." the Obliterator says, which made sense, considering what Sarah said about Taki staying after school alot.

That was true, and it was after school so good chance she was there lurking about somewhere. So with that in mind he used the shadow powers again to get there in good time.

It was close to night time by the time Hiroshi got to Taki's school. There was practically no one around at this time of the day "blech! i thought you were going to tell me when you were close!" that was Taki's voice. It had come from behind the gym equipment storage shed.

On the other side, was some boy, who was adjusting himself, and Taki, who was on her knees, her shirt and bra pulled up, showing her small breasts "Come on, you know you've been wanting my 'special stuff' since we started." the boy says.

Taki was spitting someting up as she pulls her bra and shirt back don "Are we finished for today?" she ass as she gets up "I have to go home and make dinner for my family." she grumbles.

The boy nods "Minus one, of course." he mumbles "Yeah, we're fnished for today. I'll be seeing you tomorrow, though." he says as he chuckles and walks off.

Hiroshi had a bit of mixed feelings of the scene, on one hand of course he wanted o murder the guy as it was the natural for the sibling instinct thing. It was also..werid to see Taki half naked not in the bad way just the more they're 'they're growing up and now I find them attractive' thing that was in every movie and manga since forever.

He only saw briefly before he hid himself, Jason had said he had a bad temper at times when it came to loved ones. So he reframed from just charging in and beating up the boy. It did concide with what Sarah said of Taki being sad, but just because that was the case didn't mean he knew for sure; for all he knew Taki just had a boyfriend. Though he was seriously doubting that.

..Still want to kill that guy though even if it turns out just to be her secret boyfriend..

Once it seemed like the coast was clear his throat and resumed his 'search'. "Taki, you around here?"

"Just give me... the word... and his life...is over..." the Obliterator growls.

As Hiroshi called out, Taki lets out a small gasp of surprise as she adjusts herself to look presentable, the grabs her book bag and runs towards the gym.

She wanted to give the illusion that she had finished with some kind of club activity. She pushes the door open and spots Hiroshi off in the distance "Oh. Hey, Hiroshi!" she waves as she jogs on over to him "Have you come to escort a lady home?" she asks, latching onto his arm.

'Not kill him, no. But I do want to give them a warning and a big scare. Do you have any suggestions?' He didn't want the Hunters after him in killing in cold blood, but scaring someone that was something else.

Hiroshi played things off cool, smiling. "Something like that. Sorry I've been kinda mia, just needed to get my head straight. I'm back now, walking too."

"Yesss… the Obliterator hisses "Armor up... and pay him... a little visit..." he suggests.


Taki looks him up and down "I can see that. The healing abilities of your kind are amazing. If only others could heal, so completely.. she mumbles the last part.

"So..." she says "Are you going to come over for dinner tonight?" she asks "It's been a long time since we've sat at the table together. I'm sure mom and dad wouldn't mind at all." she points out.

Hiroshi nodded, pleased. "You bet, its been way too long before we did something like that. I gotta grab something at my home though then I'll be right, shouldn't take long since I live five minutes away."

It was an lie; he just wanted to catch up with their..guest.

Hiroshi lived five minuets away when one was simply Walking. If they were jogging or running, it would take no time at all to get to Taki's. The young woman nods "No problem. I'll get dinner started as soon as I get home." she says with a smile.

Hiroshi was pleased with that and began to leave to somewhere where other people couldn't see him. 'n]]Okay, what did you mean by armor up? And is there a way to find this prick?'[/i]

Since they were now away from people and the sun had gone down, the Obliterator was at full strength now as darkness shimmers around Hiroshi, cloaking him in it, which starts to solidify around him, forming some kind of Darkness Armor "This... is how you... armor up..." he says "As for... finding the boy... he's following... Nixa..."

The darkness armor was certainly different, though the comment he was following Taki did clear any doubts that he might of just been her boyfriend if the words weren't enough, his shady actions now added onto it. But the question was if this was the case, what was really going on?

'Let's go greet them. Could you change my voice to?' If not he was decently good at voice acting.

Though it wasn't long that he found his 'prey' and used the darkness to travel and cut him off standing to his imposing height. He decided if he was going to do this, he was going to play the act. "Greeting, boy. I have sources you been bothering my charge Taki, and while normally I'd take your soul and be done with it, I will allow this one chance to explain yourself. Tread carefully for my patience tonight is thin.."

Who knew this could be fun? Maybe if the Hunter thing didn't pan out he'd get into acting.

The darkness armor naturally changed the way Hiroshi's voice sounded, so there was no problem with that. As soon as the boy seen and heard Hiroshi, he Panicked!

His hands go in the air "WAHHH!!" he screams "Don't kill me! I'm just a normal middle school student!" he yells.

"This is bad..." the Obliterator snarls "He is... intentionally... being loud... trying to draw... Nixa's attention..." he growls.

And sure enough, Taki was coming over to see what was going on. When she stumbles upon the scene, she pauses, neither running to help, nor running away. Then it was like something dawned on her and she pulls out her wand, which allows her to transform into the Elemental Witch, Nixa!

Intentionally? If that was the case did that mean he knew Taki's real indentity? He noticed them come forward, but acting oddly like something had clicked.

Damn if only he hadn't been so close..Tch. Guess we'll have to retreat so we don't risk fighting them.

"This was a warning. If you bother them again I Will find out." He glared at the boy continuing the act, before reluctantly deciding to retreat into the shadows but remain nearby. He had planted the seed of fear which is all he wanted, but he wasn't sure he heard since he had been panicking.

"We could have... taken him... with us... leave him... in the darkness... he would slowly... go insane... and never know..." the Obliterator growls.

"The pieces now... fall into place..." he hisses "This... Youth... knows Nixa's... true identity... and is... blackmailing her... it seems..." he snarls.

"You need... to talk with her... about this... she is... starting back... down a dark path... just now..." the Obliterator points out.

Hiroshi was thinking, he was hesitant to just outright kill anyone but they did have a alternative and if scaring them didn't work..he wasn't given much of a choice.  It was messy, but family came first. This creep had blacmailed Taki into sexual favors, and if this continued who knew how worse it would get. He might even bring 'friends' along.

'You have a point. We'll..make him vanish tonight with that idea. Let's grab them with those shadow tendril things and then make a break for it.' He was nearby as he was just hiding in the darkness, but the issue was Nixa was nearby, however they could play around it, so he looked towards his prey again if they were nearby Taki.

"Not here..." the Obliterator growls "Wait... until he's home..." he points out.

"Taki, you came to save me." the young man says "I was worried that you almost wouldn't." he chuckles.

Taki squints a bit "Believe me, I was seriously tempted Not to come and help you..." she mumbles.

"But then you remembered, that if anything happens to me, the whole world will know your secret." he says with a slight smug look on his face.

Taki shakes her head "No. I thought of my sister and she wouldn't want me to become a murderer, because of something wrong that You're doing." she states "And when I'm transformed, it's Nixa. she says, ten she turns her wand into a broom and flies off.

Hiroshi was fine with that..as long as he didn't try to do anything. Listening in didn't do any favors about his extremely low opinion on the young man, though he wondered How others would know if something happened to them? He was guessing a picture.

In the mean time he stayed in the darkness prepared to follow them home, or at least get a feeling of where they were going. It seemed the boy was too arrogant or stupid to heed his warning, so plan B it was.

As Hiroshi was watching the young fellow, a presents could be felt within the darkness "Release me..." a voice whispers "Release me..." the voice was a bit louder this time "Haven't I... suffered enough..?"
