Skylar listened, though she also didn't fully agree. "I can undestand why they might see it that way, but everyone is different. Some people need to regularly have their partner around, while others are fine if its not as often, some miltary families for example. "It is..although are you planning on leaving earth, or rather this earth soon?" Zara asked them. She hoped not, but it was always a possbility.

Ness nods "Fraid so." he says "I have a condition called Wanderlust that almost compels me to keep moving and staying in one place for too long starts to get harder and harder for me." he says "Besides, there's a whole multiverse out there who needs my help, just like Noreal needed my help, and if I don't help them, lots of people might die and what kind of a person would I be if I could help them, but didn't?" he asks.

That's very noble of you, I'll admit probably makes you a better person then I am. I admit if I was in your shoes I'd want to completely retire at some point."

Skylar shook her head a bit. "Don't say it like that. While in real life and stories the hero is always played up, its the silent 'little people' that also keep things running in the background. The world might need people like Ness, but it also needs people like you to. The mom or dad or the person behind the desk is important to keeping things running. If everyone was like Ness, things wouldn't work."

"I suppose you're right. I hadn't thought of it that way." She hadn't, but it gave her something to chew on.

Skylar gave a smile to her friend then gave Ness hand a gentle squeeze. "You don't need to change your life style for us. As long as you come home and spend time with us, that's all we'll need."

Ness smiles at that "How about we get cleaned up, dressed and get something to eat?" he asks "I have to say, you ladies sure know how to make a guy hungry with the workout you gave me today." he tells them.

Skylar nodded as she got up, slightly shakily from the bed but was more fine as she got up. "Care to join us then? Our shower is on the bigger side. I have to admit the Japanese styled baths and showers are interesting."

Zara didn't mind, plus she could scrub their backs and such a bit. It was a bit of the inner maid, but also just being another way she could show to be affectionate towards the two.

Ness nods "You know what? Sure thing. Let's go." he says as he follows the two of them into their bathroom. It was the typical Japanese bathroom. Something he was used to by now. So being the gentleman he is, Ness let them get all washed up before heading into the tub, then he would join them.

Both women waited patiently for Ness to come inside, thankfully the tub was plenty large so there was ample room. They really didn't have any plans for the day, for once but that was a good thing since Skylar was on the busier side with her job.

"So, did have any plans or just want to take it easy for the rest of the day?" Skylar asked them. "I honestly don't mind if we just stayed inside for the rest."

Ness nods "I have plenty of things to do today." he says as he finishes scrubbing up and joins the ladies in the tub "And you know what? If I take the day off, the things I need to do, will still be there the next day, so yeah. The other woman mulled it over briefly. "I shall come along as well then. Its like you said, there's still a full day ahead of us."

After a bit, Ness scoots away from Skylar, then gets up and out "I'm gonna get dried off and ready." he says as he heads out of the bathroom.

With nothing else that needed to be said, the young women also soon got out to get dressed. They were both in a pretty good mood after what happened to really no surprise. Once both of them were done, they headed out feeling refreshed for the coming day.

Zara spoke up first, adjusting her glasses a bit. "We thought about visiting Ginza. We heard its a pretty good shoppng area. Lot of good cousine too."

Skylar agreed, and she was certainly hungry again after their work out from earlier.

Ness nods and the three of them start out. Since KITT wasn't with them, they had to walk, which meant they needed to take the trains to wherever they needed to go, if they needed to take a train.

Ness raises a brow at the crowds reaction "What's the big deal? I can do that as well." he mumbles. Sure he's never asked for much outside of his basic needs when doing what he does, but he Did have to admit, a little recognition Would be appreciated for what he does.

Zara and Skylar had noted Ness reaction to the thing. "I think its just because he's more famous around earth. But that's just not it. Something else on your mind?" The maid would, if she knew point out that Ness Was famous and appreciated in Noreal at least.

Ness shrugs "Yeah, maybe. But I suppose fame isn't everything. Just helping those who need it should be enough," he says as he leads the girls out.

He knew where they wanted to go, so it wouldn't be a problem getting there. Though, he would admit that it would have been easier if KITT was there.

He normally traveled in silence, so if they wanted to talk about anything, they would need to pick the conversation.

Skylar was naturally the more talkative of the two, so she'd say something if no one else did. She was part of politics so being more on the talkative side of things made sense. "Since you have a lot of knowledge of things in general and I'm curious. Since earth has a strangely high amount of races for some reason, is there any race similar to my kind here?"

Ness nods "Yes. They are called Vampires and there are basically two kinds on Earth..." he tells her "There are the living Vampires and the Undead Vampires. The living ones are pretty much like you, except for a few key differences, like not being able to go out in the sun and they control bats instead of shadows..." he explains "And the Undead ones are a totally different beast. They are Much stronger and more powerful, often able to call upon dark magics and can shape change as well as use other kinds of supernatural powers." he finishes "Both are in rare supply nowadays." he says with a shrug.

Skylar found that interesting, but if the later was honest she wasn't too surprised there was a race similar to theirs here. For reasons unknown earth had the strangest large amount of native races she had ever heard of. Granted, her experience and knowledge of different worlds was limited.

"Interesting. I can't say I'm too surprised." Skylar commented, but her curiosity for that subject was sated.

"Speaking of similarity, believe it or not Noreal in a sense was very similar to earth at one point." Zara started, knowing she'd have to elaborate. "In the sense it used to be a lot more chaotic, with all matter of strange things happening frequently. We even like earth had a singular big threat of the supernatural kind. You, or rather I suppose this earth had someone named Dracula who I have limited knowlege of, we had someone named Rasmerus. Leader of the Hollow Host."

Skylar knew what her friend was saying, though she hadn't really thought about it as much. "True to an extent I suppose. Noreal went into a state of relative peace and technology making things easer as well. So not only did we lose a lot of our power due not needing it anymore, we also lost many of the skills too. Though there Are some with a bit of that potential of what once was, to varying degree's. Most are barely notable, others have a lot more but its extremely rare."

"So we lost something, but I'd say its more then a fair trade for the life we have now. Can you believe there are crazy enough people at my home that want to bring back the good 'old days'?" Skylar shook her head. "Some get the romanticized idea of old Noreal, of heroes and legends without the bad that went with it and what our ancestors went through to give us our current life. I've debated with myself if the general public should know the full truth of things. It is part of our history after all. And shouldn't what our ancestors been through be remembered in full?"

"I believe if its been proven even with keeping it under wraps there been crazy people expressing what you said proves the point of keeping much of it hidden." Zara pointed out, wiping her glasses a bit with her shirt briefly. "That's just my opinion. What do you think Ness? Do you disagree with me?." She valued his opinion a lot after all. Not to mention dealing with a lot of civilizations this likely wasn't new to him at all.

Ness thinks for a bit "I've seen the exact same thing happen on different worlds before and I've told them what I'm gonna say to you: Technology should never be used as a crutch. It's good to have around, but at the end of the day your instincts and skills are all you really need to survive almost anything." he says "There are many times when technology is good to have around, but it's not infallible and more often than not, can be tricked." he says as he holds up his Paragon Corps Smart Watch "See this? It's a wearable computer that's Centuries ahead of anything out there right now. It can do Many cool things that even Military grade computers can't do, but a simple duonetic field can render it useless." he tells them "Your senses can also be fooled, but with the two working together, it's much harder to be deceived." he says as they get to where they were heading.

Skylar didn't say anything, but she did listen to what Ness had to say. It wasn't like he said didn't have merit, it made sense. "..I suppose that is fair and makes sense. If you ever visit Noreal again soon perhaps it be something to bring to the attention of the royal family. Your words have a lot more weight then mine."

Ness shakes his head "Authority, of in this case clout, should never be used as a club. When someone is wrong about something, give them practical examples of why. That way you prove not only to Them that they are idiots, but to everyone else as well. Then you can suggest an alternative where everyone gets what's coming to them, both good or bad." he tells them.

The three of them walk in and Ness gets them a place to sit. The young man, not so surprisingly, spoke Japanese as fluent as he did english. Once the three sit down, Ness orders them some Sake "So, order whatever you like. My treat." he offers.
