Crippled Flame

"Yesss..." the Obliterator hisses "I Was... there... fighting You... remember..?" he snarls "While I was... fighting you... the sister... was fighting Nixa... as the Oni knight..." he points out "And it was... the knight's blade... who fell Nixa... not my claws..." he growls "As I said before... I had... only Ever... told you... the truth..." he says "And on the subject... of the truth... be rid... of me... yes... your fire comes back... but your legs... leave you..."

His fire would be stuck as is? Hiroshi wasn't too crazy about that, it was part of who he was and Not having it was like missing a limb or two. While he didn't really trust them and Mad did say they'd do their best to lie, something to take to heart since he had far more experience with this sort of thing. If by chance they were somehow telling the truth, he wasn't sure about throwing them to the dogs so an question came up.

"So after you extract them, what would you do with them?" Hiroshi asked, the question directed more towards Abraxus.

Abraxus shrugs "Assuming that we can even Get that Thing out of you, we would seal it in an artifact that would function much like Mad's medicine bag, but not bound to you, then we would put the artifact in a reliquary for safe keeping." he explain.

"In other words... Imprison me..." the Obliterator growls "With no chance... Of Ever being... Free..."

That gave Hiroshi something to think about but if he was stuck with them did that mean his fire was gone forever? That was not a appealing prospect since he was under the impression it was due to his condition of injuring himself and literally 'burning himself out' then some outside party. Mad did say they lie but that would of seen like a odd one to if their goal was to stay.

"So.." Hiroshi started, the question directed more to Mad. "As you have the most experience with this sort of thing how can you tell when they're being truthful or not?"

Mad eyes Hiroshi "You can't..." he says simply. Before he starts off again.

Shadow was eyeing Hiroshi this time "if I didn't know any better, I'd almost say you didn't Want that thing taken out." he points out.

Now it was Abraxus' turn "Hiroshi, that creature is evil. It's killed countless people throughout the centuries. It needs to be taken off the map.ma so it can't hurt anyone ever again." he explains

Hiroshi shook his head. "I don't I was just asking questions. Let's get this over with."

"Cool your jets. We don't even know if we Can pull that thing out of you. So until we know for certain, you'll have to keep ahold of Mad's gun." he points out.

He had a point, so with that in mind Hiroshi decided to wait he didn't have much to say right now anyway. If it did end up stuck in him hopefully that didn't mean his fire was gone for good and that comment was more it would come back easier rather then not at all.

Mad was eyeing Hiroshi the whole time they were heading to the new Hunter HQ "Okay, we're here. Me and Shadow will get things set up for you, you know, starting the paper trail and all." he says "Mad'll show you where you'll be staying." he says as he heads out.

Mad starts off "Follow me..." he growls as he leads Hiroshi to the barracks where all the rookies go, at least until they finish their training and get assigned a Cell.

The man who was watching the barracks nods to Mad "A new recruit?" he asks as he gets a pillow and a blanket and hands them to Hiroshi "Please write your name down here and we'll work on getting you an ID badge soon." he says.

After the pleasantries were over, Mad leads Hiroshi to a bunk. The run was set up like a military barracks. A bed with a foot locker at the end "Bunk thirteen..." he growls "That... is yours..." he snarls as he starts back out.

There were a small group of people chatting in a corner, like three of them. Mad pauses, turns his burning gaze over to them and growls at them, before he heads back out.

He wasn't going anywhere standing around so he hobbled his way over to introduce himself even with the unitivted guest he wasn't exactly walking on his own as well as he should. Either way there was nothing for it so he would deal with it.

"Hey there. My name is Hiroshi, are you three new here too?"

One of the two heads off as Hiroshi heads on over. It was two young men and one young woman. One of the young men heads off.

"Well hey there. How the hell are you? My name's Arrow and this here is May." he says "That grumpy Gus that just took off is Flash. We're all n00bs here." he says as he claps Roshi in the shoulder.

"What he means is..." May starts "Is that we're all Full Hunters, but no one's assigned us to a Cell yet, so we bunk here." she explains.

Hiroshi noticed it but didn't pay as much attention to them walking away, he had to deal with worse after all. "It's nice meet you two, I thought everyone here would be as new as me. I thought once you became full you automatically got assigned but guess it doesn't work that way."

Arrow shakes his head "Nope. It's what ever Cell either wants you or has an opening." he says "So far, we seem to be full up on Hunters in Cells, so we just hang out here and get the small assignments." he explains.

May nods slowly "That's fine for me. It's getting a bit too dangerous for noncoms like us to be out there without an escort." she says.

Arrow looks over to her "That was only one time. The Hunters since caught the ones who attacked the others." he points out 'And besides, they're fine. Only minor injuries. Nothing the healers couldn't fix right up."

"They're speaking of a group of Inhumans attacking some rookie Hunters." says a familiar voice. Standing by the entrance was the Oni Blader that Hiroshi had faced off against long ago.

Out of all the people he expected to run again soon, Blader wasn't one of them not that it was a bad thing. It seemed like a odd coincidence of asking about her health from Abraxus and then she was here. It could be she was told, or it could be again a coincidence since she didn't have a cell. Granted Abraxus didn't know he knew Blader was here already, and if not for Jason it would of been a surprise.

"I wasn't expecting to see you around here, but its good to see you're all right." Seemed to be in better shape them him at any rate though to be fair it wasn't like he knew all she had been doing the past year either.

Arrow excused himself as he heads over to one of the vending machines. May was glaring at the bladder's rack, which was pretty ample. Flash, for his part, was stealing glances from time to time at the Oni.

Blader walks over to Hiroshi. She was eyeing him "Something's different about you..." she says "You seem to be favoring your legs and there's a... Darkness... within you... did something happen?" she asks.

Hiroshi was thinking of telling them, he wasn't sure why since he pretty much barely knew them. It obviously wasn't just because he found them attractive at that be silly but maybe it was just the gut feeling he got along a being around a more familiar face.

After some internal mulling, he decided he would. "I'll tell you but over there." He motioned towards the less crowded area so they could talk more in private. Once he got there he decided to give them a summary of what happened and why he was crippled along with why she felt the dark aspect coming from them.

Blader listens with a straight face and when Hiroshi finishes, she nods slowly "I'm sorry for your loss, I believe the phrase goes." she says "But why didn't you guys wait?" she asks "You knew the Hunters were working on a plan to stop the Oni. If you would have waited just a bit longer, none of this would have happened." she points out.

Before she could say anything more, something blurs in the middle of the room and Jason suddenly appears out of nowhere. This got everyone's attentions, especially Flash's.

Jason looks over to Hiroshi "I believe it's time we had a chat." he says.

Hiroshi was about to respond but then Jason came from seemingly nowhere like he normally seems to do. He sighed standing up. "Give me a moment, I'll be right back."

It best to see whatever Jason wanted since he normally didn't show up like this so he went over to talk to them.

Jason moves away from the others "Okay, so I was minding my own business when I suddenly got hit with a wave of memories that I never experienced and they had you and Suki in them." he says "Before we get started, you may take your frustrations out on me if it'll make you feel any better." he says "But be warned, your new 'Friend' will only make me mad. So he stays put."

Hiroshi was silent for a long moment before shaking his head. "..No. Doing so is pointless and doesn't solve anything. If the 'other' Jason said is true you had other things you needed to do so I can't hold it against you."

Jason nods. That was good to know, besides, Hiroshi would probably break his hand if he hit Jason now "Okay, so you probably want to know what happened, right?" he asks "It seems that each dimension..." he slows "I already told you this, didn't I?" he asks.

"Yeah, a bit anyway." Hiroshi explained. "I just don't know I got to the other place but its not important. I do have one question though, is there anyway to have my fire powers back?"

Jason was silent for a bit "Yes..." he mumbles "But it would require you to get rid of the Obliterator, which would cause your legs to fail you again. Much like how they were before." he says.

"The reason being, is that the dark being like the Obliterator and Mad's Darkness have Extreme regenerative abilities. Even able to bring a person back from the dead, but it takes time depending on the severity of the wound..." he explains "So if you remove him, he can't heal your legs."

"So's Also, currently, blocking your ability to use your fire, because it produces light and that's these creatures Greatest weakness, however, he doesn't Yet know that there's a way to, uh, kill two birds with one stone. As it were." he explains.

"To create Black fire that gives off No light, but much hotter and can not be extinguished by anyone except for you and someone else who can either seal it, or create black fire as well..." he says in a low tone.

It was at that time that Abraxus and a few Hunters come into the dorm and spot Jason "What the Hell? You can't just pop in whenever you feel like it!" the half Devil says, sword drawn "This is trespassing, you know." he points out.

Jason raises a brow "And what, exactly, do you plan on going about it? Arrest me? Good luck with that." he says "You Hunters think you're the final authority on all things supernormal. You're not. Will is and until he says so, I'll go where I'm needed." he states. He looks over to Hiroshi "Keep an open mind about the state of things as they are now." he says as he puts two fingers to his forehead and was gone.

Abraxus puts his sword away "Blader, I thought you were told to stay away from the barracks. Take off..." he looks over to the other three "All of you." he says, waiting for them to leave, before walking over to Hiroshi "What did Jason want?" he asks.

Hiroshi was a bit annoyed about bossing Blader around but he put it aside for now he could always try to get into contact with them later on his own time instead of the barracks. There was probably a good reason she was told not to so something else to ask. He didn't seem himself spending as much time here except for when needed.

As to his question, he decided a bit wouldn't hurt. "I was asking them if there was anyway to get my fire back as I am now if I was going to stick around for the Hunter thing. They told me I would have to learn to use black fire..not that I know how."

Abraxus frowns slightly "I don't think that last ting was meant for you." he mumbles "I think it was aimd at your live in guest." he says as he turns and starts out, he was clearly disappointed by something.

"Oh Shit, dude!" Arrow sas as he walks on over "You done messed up there." he says with a chuckle [color=tan]"You seemed cool. I would have liked to have been on a Cell with you."[/clor] he says as he claps Hiroshi on the back, then walks off as well.
