The Ripple Effect Empty The Ripple Effect

Post by Sion Reaver Fri Oct 06, 2017 10:43 pm

Ross' teleportation was jarring, and while it did mess with his stomach he luckily hadn't lost his lunch of anything. He needed all the strength and everything else if he was going to make this long trip to the top. The tower was absolutely massive, he couldn't even see the top. Under normal conditions, he would never bother coming here never mind making a climb but here he had a good reason for doing so.

He didn't have much time to think about it, but something was..nagging at Aron. Some may call him paranoid and he was over thinking but he couldn't help it with how his mind worked at times. The young angel just felt like there was something else going on: reason being is Ross. Or more particular, going as far to demonstrate Will was as strong as rumored and training would give them almost god-like physical strength.

The question you had to ask, or at least for him is the why. Granted he didn't know Ross as well, but it just seemed odd he'd care either way if he got training, at least enough to go out of his way to demonstrate from the guardian. Lost also seemed to know things ahead of time he had No business knowing.

With Ross strange behavior, and this he felt he was going to find something out soon.

Was he overthinking? Possibly. He'd find out when he got to the top.

Ross looks All the way up the tower "Don't think of how much climbing you need to do and pace yourself. The Guardian isn't going anywhere." he growls "I'll see you up there, if you make it." he snarls, then disappears in an emerald flash, leaving Aron alone.

Aron knew this was going to be a tedious task both physically and mentally but he was more then up for the challenge. It wasn't just for his sake but Angel's as well. Besides hurting, he really didn't want her to possibly go down her father's path. That was part of why the whole mess started was Dracula losing someone dear to him.

All that came first, all the training and everything else was secondary if at all to him.

Aron got his gear and began to climb. It was the long way.

The climb Was long and tough, as the wind was terrible at the time. But the end was in sight! Or at least, the half way point, Korin's Tower, which wasn't as far as most people assumed.

Aron knew it wasn't close to being at the top, but he was getting there slowly but surely. If he made it through this climb, he was pretty sure his father would be pretty proud of the effort. If it weren't for Peresphone and Angel sake, there would be no way in hell he would be doing this willingly though.

At the top of Korn's tower, there was a big, white cat standing on it's hid legs, holding a wooden staff "Well, well..." he says in a kind of croaky voice "I haven't had a visitor in some time. Not since that Zanthrope came climbing up and even then, he didn't stick around for too long." he says.

Aron wasn't sure what this being was, he Thought he was some type of strange Zoanthrope, but it sounded like he wasn't. "We'll, I won't be staying too long but to get my second wind but I don't want to be rude. My name is Aron Taylor nice to meet you." He wasn't going to stay long since he had a job to do, but he wasn't just going to ignore them.

The cat nods "I'm Korin, the master of this tower." he says "Good to meet ya." he walks over to a fridge "Would you like some Hetap or something? You know, while you get your second wind." he asks "As far up as it was getting here, it's an even longer climb to Kami's place." he explains "Not only will there be high winds and possibly storms, but it'll start getting colder and the air much thinner."

"Sure, if its not too much trouble." Aron said politely, he didn't have the apetite for sweets. "So do you know this Guardian or do you two not interact much?" May help if he kinda knew what kind of person they were before they met.

Korin nods as he tosses Aron a Hetap "Will? Sure I know him.He comes down from time to time  we shoot the breeze about better times." he says "You know, when he's not watching over the safety of the whole planet." he mumbles the last part.

"So, this might be a bit too personal, at least for someone you just met, but why are you making the climb?" he asks "Is it for the training or the wish?" he asks "Most people go for the wish, not really knowing the real benefits of beging trained by a god." he points out.

Aron wondered how much he should say, but kept it simple. "An wish, mainly. There is someone really special to me and someone else land I'll leave it at that."

He put away what he was drinking as he prepared himself mentally for the final push. "Thank you for your hospitality, but its time for me to start again to see how things go. Wish me luck, I'll need it."

Korin nods "Alright, well, I wish you luck in your climb." he says "The good news, if you fall, you have those wings to break your fall with." he chuckles "Most don't have that option."

Aron gave his farewells to Korin, then proceeded on his journey to reach the top. He had a mission to do and people counting on him, we'll one or two depending on how you looked at it but that was besides the point.

Korin watches Aron leave "What an odd fellow. He had some fish, but didn't get any senzu beans." he says with a shrug "I guess he's one of those thrill seekers."

Aron unfourtnately didn't know what those were but would have taken some if asked, but since it was too late for that he was just going have to make due. It was going to be an rough road regardless but people had done impossible things before, and now it was on him.

Though Ross Did tell him to bring some fresh fish, one would have thought Aron would have offered it to Korin once he saw he was a cat.

Still, that was in the past, as if right now, the wind was starting to pick up. Fortunately the latter up was solid, so it wouldn't be swaying in the wind.

Aron knew this was tough, but he wondered if anyone had made the climb Without any gear what so ever. He guessed it was possible, after all there were some crazy people out there.

Since he was use to flying most everywhere, Aron would have had tremendous upper body strength. Especially in the back of his arms and after climbing through wind, rain, the cold, and thinning air, the Lookout was Finally in sight! The home stretch was in sight!

Aron felt a bit more energy at seeing the top, but he Didn't want to rush it and get sloppy now when he was this close to his target. There was so much riding on this and so much to get to.

As the top of the Lookout looms, a hand reaches out and grabs Aron's wrist and hauls him up. It was Ross "Looks like you finally made it." he says "You should feel proud, not many have the real fortitude to make the Entire climb. Plus, you set a new record in terms of speed." he says.

Standing some distance behind Ross, was a imposing figure. He looked like a norse god. Made of muscle, spikey blonde hair, and blue eyes, which matched is ninja gi.

Ross looks back, then to Aron "That's the Guardian of Earth. He's waiting for you." he says as he moves out of the way.

Aron didn't like kissing people's ass or overly complimenting people but he knew there was an time and a place to show proper respect. It wasn't the fact Will was an deity, but the fact he did protect this planet and by proxy those he cared about. He also really didn't have to do anything what so ever regardless if he climbed, being ungracious would be stupid.

He went to introduce himself, bowing slightly. "I'm Aron Taylor, thank you taking time out of your day to see me."

Will raises a brow "Are you kidding?" he asks "You just Climbed Over thirty-thousand feet with no stims, no senzus, and barely anything to eat or drink Just to meet me." he points out "I should be thanking you for your dedication an devotion to higher thinking." he says.

"So, what is it that brings you to my Lookout?" he asks as he hands Aron a glass of water "Tell me your story. Is it a wish or knowledge, that brings you to me?"

Aron gracefully took the water, taking an moment to gather his thoughts after the question. Considering everything, he was going to be completely truthful.

"An wish." Then he elaborated. "I'm friends with the current lord of Castlevania named Angel, I'm sure you know who she is. She was very close to her bodyguard and maid named Peresphone, who also was my girlfriend, who ended up falling in battle during an vampire hunter attack not too long ago. A man named Lost is keeping Angel's rage in check, but for how long I don't know. A lot of people died during that attack. So while its Peresphone is the main focus, its more in general those who fell in Angel's home."

The damage was already done, he didn't think Angel would be one hundred percent the same, even when she calmed all the way down.

As soon as Aron drinks the water, he was suddenly filled with energy. It seems like this was special water "That's scared water. It has very special properties." Ross says.

Will takes in the story "Okay, one thing you need to know about Lost, he's All about manipulating people in some fashion or another, so I wouldn't take his words seriously unless there's absolute proof of what he says is true." he explains.

He walks over to the edge of the Lookout and, well, looks out over it "Castlevania, you say?" he mumbles, as he looks for something in the general direction of the evil castle "I'm sorry to say, but you wasted your time coming up here for a wish..." he finally says as he turns to Aron "The one you wanted to wish back to life isn't dead." he states.

"Also, aside from the usual hostilities coming from the Castle, from the different monsters, I sense no greater anger coming from the direction of, or inside, the castle." he explains.

Aron was absolutely stunned. "You mean..I came here for nothing? Was anything besides the attack he said even true?"  He wasn't normally an angry person but after all that, he was understandbaly pissed. He went through all that grief and climbing up top here and now this.

"..Did you know this already?" He asked Ross. Aron calmed himself down a bit even though he was upset, but it did explain Ross' odd behavior if he was in on this. What the hell was even going on anymore.
