Retina had more then a few things that needed to be doing and places to visit, Vegeta was just one of them. She had good and bad news to tell Joseph and Teala before she was on her way. However, certain life events meant she would have to be slowing down for a good while which is something she wanted to talk to them about as well. She could say she genuinely liked the two and that wasn't as common. Plus they were so cute together.

After this, she had some business with Lylat System among other things but she wanted to do this first. By her side was her bodyguard Taiga who while didn't look like much but was rather powerful in their own right. On the superficial level she resembled a normal Eldarian but that was far from the truth. Eldarian's made very poor Z-Fighters; they could learn it but the power they got was very limited before they hit a wall. In additon, the Planet Trade had been around for two hundred odd years.

Eldarian's while thankful for their Alus allies didn't want to completely rely on them. They also knew their various ways to hopefully get around Ki-based powers. So they did what they always did; adapt and improvise. That's when things such as cybernetic enhancement to shoot one's Ki potential through the roof. According to Joseph, there had been a mad man on his dimensional travels named Doctor Gero that had a similar method.

His work had troubled Retina but it put her at ease it was only similar a basic surface level. In addition they were were humane and voluntary unlike Gero's. When she asked which had more potential, Joseph said it was the Eldarian's. Unlike Gero's, most of his creations or cyborg enhanced humans had large power levels but could only make modest gains after. With them however, they could become far more then what they were.

It didn't much matter to Retina but she liked to hear about things. Soon they arrived at Vegeta and was getting things checked out to land, it was best to get this over with.

The Saiyan guards were standing like statues as Retina and her bodyguard showed up. Cotto was waiting on the landing platform for her "Greeting and welcome to the planet Vegeta." he says in an even tone. Almost like he was told to say that "I have been instructed to escort you to Queen Teala as soon as you arrived." he says as he motions "If you would follow me."

Retina paid the somewhat stoic welcome any mind, compared to some of the blowhards she had to deal with it Really wasn't that bad. It just wasn't kissing up if anything was all, she could apperciate that.

"Lead the way please." Taiga said nothing she was more curious of the sorroundings but her focus was on Retina right now.

Cotto escorts Retina to the palace. Once inside, Teala comes down to greet their important visitor "Welcome to the Planet Vegeta!" she says with a warm smile on her face "It is an honor to receive you and we hope you will enjoy your stay on my home planet." she says.

She motions to Joseph "I'm sure you remember Joseph, my husband." she says "Please, have a seat. May I offer you some refreshments?" she asks.

Retina smiled a bit. "What's such big formalities between friends? It's nice to see you again. Oh and this is Taiga, she's a new bodyguard of mine. She's young, but I have faith in her."

The young woman blushed but smiled a bit. "It's nice to meet you." She was honestly a bit nervous about being around royalty, but they seemed nice.

Retina found herself a seat but Taiga politely declined, she prefered to stand for now. "Refreshments would be fine, we aren't picky. How have you two been holding up?"

"Depends on the day." Joseph said with a chuckle. "But we're doing fine, just busy."

Teala nods as she brings over some drinks "It's certainly not easy to get support from planets that my people once attacked." she says as she hands one to her guests and to Joseph "But we're trying. We ask if they need help rebuilding from those attacks and offer any support we can." what Teala Didn't say, was that almost all those planets have refused and turned down her offers.

"Effecting things from past wrongs is always hard." Retina agreed, though things weren't the same of course she had some experiences herself. "While they'll be a lot of things you may have to do on your own, just remember Eldar and Alus are friends so if ever need help with something don't hesistant to ask."

"Thank you, we apperciate it." Joseph said sincerely. "So, what did you want to talk about?"

"Couple of things. Taiga, if you would please?" Retina was handed a data pad from the young woman. "Ah, thank you. Anyway one of the first two things is, we finally managed to get a breakthrough with that liquid Lee discovered all those years ago. Alus wanted to be positively certain it was safe so there had to be a lot of testing. It checks out, so we'll have to ask if its something you want introduced to your planet."

"Secondly, I wanted to announce we have been making some strides of making of something long term for Key so she won't have to take medicine all the time; or at least for longer periods. It's not done yet, but I feel its close but ultimately of course its up to her. Since you two are close to her, I just feel you two should also know." A lot of Sayains probably wouldn't be pleased at this, but she didn't care. Key seemed to be a nice young woman, in her own way.

Teala had her doubts that they were making any real progress with Key's condition. This wasn't something that would be easy to fix. Cooler had wanted it that way and he got the Best geneticist that money and power could buy.

As for the other thing "That's up to you, though, I suppose in the long run, Lee would have the final say about what to do with it, since he was the one who discovered it." she says "Unfortunately. he's off world at this time." she says apologetically.

It wouldn't be easy and they may fail, but if anyone could do it, it was the Eldarians. On the flipside, it wasn't like more less..honorable Eldarian's could have been hired in the process in Key's creations. Or even some few who could rival even even them genetics and technology wise.

"That's fine, I'll have to get into contact with them some other time." Retina said. "Has there been any word yet back from the Jurians?"

Teala blinks in surprise, wondering how Retina knew that she had contacted the Planer Jurai. She had never mentioned it and she knew that Joseph wouldn't say anything about it either. "N-no. Not yet. They seem to like to take their time on things." she mumbles.

(I had thought something like that would be big news, but if not then guess we'll just ignore that part

Retina decided to let that particularly matter drop. "That said as a heads up, you two won't be seeing too much of me anymore at least for a while relatively soon. You'll be seeing a lot more of my husband instead. I'll do my best to stay in contact though." She assured.

Joseph blinked a bit at that. "Why is that?"

"Let's just say the family will be getting bigger soon. For the first one or two years I'll be raising them. Me and my husband had decided if the family expanded, one of us will have to take a lot of time off. We want at least the very early years to be around us the most instead of care givers. It can't be helped as they get older but at least its better then nothing." If you didn't have the time to spend with a child, there was no point in having one in her opinion.

That tickled Teala a bit "Well congratulations to you both!" she says with a big smile "Be sure to bring them over whenever you both decide to visit." she says.

Retina would be looking forward to that, when time came around anyway that is. "Will do, but that won't be for a minute. If I may ask, are you two planning to have children of your own. Or Kate enough for now?"

"We don't really have any plans." Joseph said after a moment, that was true enough on its own. True they had been intimate before but children wasn't something they ever planned or even came up.

Teala blushes a bit "O-oh, well, Kate is enough. She'll bring honor to our names and, if it's the will of the people, make a fine leader someday." she mumbles.

Joseph did wonder about that, Kate in general that is. Leadership or 'taking the reins' was something she tended to shy away from, but she could in a pinch. If was honest, while he had wanted a kid with Teala he had picked up she was more or less content and didn't desire any biogloical children so he left it alone after a time, nor did he bring it up. As for what happened after them, we'll any number of things could happen but it was best not to worry about things out of one's control.

Retina nodded a bit, putting her data pad away. "That about covers all the good news. I'm afraid I don't have much of anything else to report right now. Where will me and Taiga be staying?"

Teala nods "Both you and your body guard will be staying right here in the palace." she jumps up "I'll show you to your rooms." she offers.

A guard comes walking in. Teala frowns at this "Yes?" she asks. The guard nods "Your Majesty, there's someone here to see..." he glares at Joseph "Your husband. He won't say who he is and his energy doesn't register on our scouters. What would you have us do?" he asks.

Teala looks over to 'Her Husband' "Joseph, do you wish handle this or do you wish for more information before making any decisions?" she asks.

"It might be Jason. Even if not, I'll take care of it. You take care of our guest, I'll be back soon. Lead the way please." Joseph paid no mind to the glaring, it wasn't like he wasn't used to it.

Retina was wondering what was going on, but Joseph was Insanely strong and had a good head on his shoulders so he would be fine. "We would apperciate that, thank you." Retina said sincerely.

Teala escorts her guests to their rooms "If you need anything, please feel free to ask one of the house keepers. They'll gladly get you anything you want." she says.

As Joseph heads out, there were a few guards around this newcomer and they were all giving him the 'evil eye' and one was even getting in his face, trying to stare him down. It was, as he suspected, Jason. The Saiyan's 'best friend'.

"Thank you. This is very generous of you." Taiga said as she looked around while Retina went to sit on the bed. She was feeling a bit tired already, but it was sorta to be expected. "If something comes up we'll let you know."

Joseph almost rolled his eyes at the Sayain getting into Jason's face, ignorance really was bliss. He made his way over. "He's fine, he's a friend of the Queen and myself." He was happy to see his friend of course, but it was kinda odd he hadn't given his name since he would have then be let through by Teala or himself. Unless he wanted to talk to him in private.

Teala nods to her guests and then decided to see whom it was that wanted to see Joseph and, if by some chance, he needed her help.

The Saiyans back off and Jason looks over to Joseph "Hey buddy!" he says with a wave "How the hell are ya?" he asks as he walks over to his friend.

Joseph smiled a bit as he came over. "I'm good, nothing to really complain too much about. What brings you in the neighborhood?"

Jason shrugs "I got someone here I would like you to meet." he says as he turns and who ever it was Joseph was suppose to meet, wasn't there any more "Not again! Dammit, Michelle." he grumbles, then turns to Joseph "Hold that thought." he says as he takes off.

Teala comes walking out a few minuets later "Joseph, who was it?" she asks, no longer seeing anyone there, so she assumed they had left.

Joseph turned to Teala. "It's Jason. He wanted me to meet someone but ran off to go get them." He assumed it was his daughter, but he could be wrong.

Teala nods slowly "Oh..." she says slowly. She looked a bit uncomfortable at the confirmation of it being Jason, but she didn't say anything else.

A few seconds later, Jason blurs and appears with someone "But I'm telling you the truth! I Didn't start that fight. That sexist Pig started it when he said something Very inappropriate about my, uh, figure." the young woman says, apparently defending her actions to Jason.

Jason didn't look pleased "We'll talk about this later. Right now I would like you to meet my friends, Joseph Reaver and Teala. The King and Queen of the Planet Vegeta." he says, motioning to Joe and Teala "Joseph, Teala. Meet my daughter, Michelle." he says, presenting the young woman.

Michelle smiles at the two "It's good to finally meet you two. Dad's told me absolutely Nothing about you, other then your names and that you're his friends." she says, a glimmer in her eyes shines "Say, you two must be Pretty strong, to be the King and Queen of people like Saiyans, right?" she asks.

Jason, who was standing behind her, shakes his head to Joseph and Teala. Teala, for her part, blinks in mild surprise "O-oh, uh, not at all." she mumbles "I-I'm only Queen, b-because my father was king?" she says. Teala was a lot of things, a good liar wasn't one of them.

Joseph nodded a bit. "Nice to meet you. And I'm all right in my own way, there's always someone stronger out there after all." Despite how strong he was now, he didn't want it to go to his head so he kept modest. Besides, he didn't really like fighting much to begin with; something he and Teala had in common.
