-------------------------
Width: 440.0 feet (134.11 meters)
-------------------------
Mass: 355,000 metric tons
-------------------------
Power System: Phazon core with 5 year life span. Ship should normally only go 2 years between refuelings.
-------------------------
Physical Description: See Pic.
-------------------------
Propulsion System: The Great Descent uses Opposing Gravity Drives (or G-Defusers) for it's standered propulsion method for sub-light travel and a Hyper Drive for intersteller travel.
-------------------------
Crew Complement: For this ship is about 50. 1 captain, 9 officers officers and 40 various crew personel. The ship can hold as many as 75 if needs be
-------------------------
Cargo: Very Small, Cargo holds are scattered about the ship that allows for carrying up to 400 tons of Cargo in addition to standard compliment of supplies and ammunition.
-------------------------
Levels: There are 5 levels. Engineering is on deck 3, the Mess Hall and Med Bay are on deck 2, the Bridge is on deck 1, Crews Quarters are on deck 4, the Cargo Deck and Shuttle Bay is on deck 5.
-------------------------
Market Cost: 8 + billion Ruppees to construct. As this is the only working proto-type, Ganondorf does not to want to sell his starship design to other interested parties.
-------------------------
WEAPON SYSTEMS:

Pulse Phaser Arrays (4): On the front of the starship are four forward firing phasers that do incredible amounts of damage but is shorter in range than the heavy laser weapons of phase world starships. Normally, all four phasers are fired at the same time and in bursts. Weapon system cannot be used when the starship is moving faster than the speed of light.

Maximum Effective Range: 149 miles (240 km) through atmosphere and 14,900 miles (24,000 km) in space.

Rate of Fire: volley of 4 pulse phaser per array.

Payload: Effectively unlimited, but need to recharge if over used.
-------------------------
Phaser Arrays (2): On both the top and bottom sides of the starship are standard phaser arrays. Each phaser array can fire two individual beams at the same time and can be aimed at different or the same targets. Each one can fire in any direction and directly up for top phasers and directly down for bottom phasers. When combined into a heavy beam, the phasers use more energy and will drain faster. Weapon system cannot be used when the starship is moving faster than the speed of light.

Maximum Effective Range: 187 miles (300 km) through atmosphere and 18,700 miles (30,000 km) in space.

Rate of Fire: volley of 2 phaser beams per array twice (4 beams per array / 8 beams for all arrays) or can fire a total of two combined heavy blasts per array.

Payload: Effectively unlimited, but need to recharge if over used.
-------------------------
Plasma Torpedo Launchers (4): The ship has two launchers that fire forward and two launchers that fire aft. Ganondorf has concentrated on launchers that can launch more than one torpedo at the same time. There are two launchers that fire forward and two launchers that fire aft. Once spread of torpedoes has been launched, the launchers must reload and rearm before launching another spread of torpedoes.
Torpedoes has a top speed of Mach 25 in an atmosphere and in space has an acceleration of 10% of light per turn (far faster than any starship). When drive goes dead, the torpedo will still cruise unless preset to self destruct or receives a destruct code but has very low odds of hitting starships. Launchers can launch on multiple targets each.

Maximum Effective Range: Powered torpedo range is 8000 miles (12,875 km) in an atmosphere and 4,000,000 miles (6,437,376 km/ 21.5 light seconds) in space.

Payload: 192 total, 48 torpedoes per launcher.
-------------------------
Nova Bomb Launchers (2): The ship has two Nova Bomb launchers, one that fires forward and one that fires aft. Nova Bombs are high-yield, compact and effective, matter/anti-matter explosive. Nova bombs give off a large flash and explode over a respective spherical blast radius, allowing it's user to take out, at most, a squadron of unshielded star fighters with one shot. Nova bombs can be fired point-blank or receive telemetry data from a Targeting Computer, and even be detonated by impact or remote.

Maximum Effective Range: Nova Bomb range is 4000 miles (6437.376 km) in an atmosphere and 1,000,000 miles (1,609,344 km/ 21.5 light seconds) in space.

Payload: 96 total, 48 bombs per launcher.

DEFENSIVE SYSTEMS:

Cloaking Device: The Great Descent has a cloaking device that allows the ship to be undetectable by most sensors. The starship cannot raise shields or fire any weapons while cloaked, for one attack previous to cloaking, or just after de-cloaking.
-------------------------
Ablative Armor: This is a type of protective hull plating, used on various transports, which possesses a capability for rapidly dissipating the energy impacts from direct energy weapons fire.
-------------------------
Shields: Deflector shields operated by creating a layer, or layers, of energetic distortion containing a high concentration of gravitons around the object to be protected. On starships, the shield contained six sections, forward, starboard, port, aft, dorsal, and ventral. Shield energies could be emitted from a localized antenna or "dish", such as a ship's navigational deflector, or from a network of "grid" emitters laid out on the object's surface, such as a starship's hull.
Neither matter nor highly-concentrated energy could normally penetrate a shield. When shields are "up," or energized at a high level, most matter or energy that comes into contact with the shields will be harmlessly deflected away. This was important in starship combat, as shields were essential for hull protection. When the shields were up, only minor hull damage would be expected during combat.
Continuous or extremely powerful energy discharges could progressively dissipate the integrity of a shield to the point of failure. Shield capacities varied according to many variables, from the power available to environmental concerns, making definitive and universal calculations of how much damage they could take difficult to estimate. Therefore, during combat tactical officers would continually report on shield strength, usually as a percentage of total effectiveness, with 100% meaning that the shields were at full capacity, and lower percentage scores indicating weaker shield conditions. Specific sections of the shield grid could take more damage than other sections, and be reinforced with additional power reserves, so tactical officers would report on the health of the shields by section if need be. Shields were said to be "holding" if damage is not sufficient enough to allow a compromise; if the shields were "buckling" or "failing," then a total loss of shield protection was imminent.
-------------------------
Polarized Hull Plating: This was a defensive technology that was technologically inferior shields. In the early days, before the discovery of Static Shielding technology, the Hylians would use Hull Polarization to protect their transports from hazardous terrains. In a battle situation, electromagnetic power could be applied to the hull materials, making them several orders of magnitude harder.
-------------------------
Grapple Beam: It's an attenuated linear graviton beam used to control the movement of external objects. The grapple beam placed spatial stresses on the object in specific areas, allowing it to hold the "grappled" object in a fixed location or alter its position and/or trajectory. While grapple beams were normally used to pull objects towards the beam source – usually to tow objects – conversely, they could also be set to repel objects. They were most often employed to tow a disabled or vulnerable ship to safety, or sometimes, used by an enemy ship to control the movement of the target vessel. A starship that can polarize their hulls have a chance to throw off the Grapple Beam.

Maximum Effective Range: The Grapple Beam has an effective range of 10 miles.
-------------------------
Transporter Device: This device is used to transport a person or object from one point to another. A transporter lock is usually maintained by tracing the homing signal of a communicator When there was a risk that such devices would be lost in the field or are otherwise unavailable, personnel could be implanted with a subcutaneous transponder before an away mission to still provide a means to maintain a transporter lock. Alternatively, a ships sensors could be used to scan for the bio sign or energy signature of a subject, which could then be fed into the transporter's targeting scanner for a lock. Next, the life form or object to be beamed was scanned on the quantum level, using a molecular imaging scanner. At this point, Heisenberg compensator took into account the position and direction of all subatomic particles composing the object or individual and created a map of the physical structure being disassembled, amounting to billions of kiloquads of data. Simultaneously, the object was broken down into a stream of subatomic particles, also called the matter stream . The matter stream was briefly stored in a pattern buffer while the system compensates for doppler shift to the destination. The matter stream was then transmitted to its destination across a subspace domain As with any type of transmission of energy or radiation, scattering and degradation of the signal must be monitored closely. The 'annular confinement beam' (ACB) acted to maintain the integrity of the information contained in the beam. Finally, the initial process was reversed and the object or individual was reassembled at the destination.

Maximum Effective Range: The transporter has a maximum range 4,000 miles and for the moment, is limited to line of site with the ship.
-------------------------
History: The Great Descent was an idea that Ganondorf, the Gerudo King, had one day while he was dealing with the Space Pirates. He was tired of always being seen as the 'King of Evil' and wanted to change his image. So he desided to help people, instead of trying to enslave them. He built this wonderous ship and preposed to the king of Hyrule that together they could usher in a new age of peace and prosparity for all the surrounding kingdoms. However, this got Ganondorf thinking, why stop there? He would use the advanced technology he got from the Space Pirates to start to build a new way of life for the Gerudo, the Hylians and everyone else on their tiny world. He would be seen as a visionary and immortalised as Ganondorf, the King who brought about a new age for the surrounding kingdoms and this ship was his first stepping stone to his eternal greatness!
