Old And New

Keya was mentally exhausted from her meeting with all the leaders and politicians she had in the meeting room about the earth situation, then there was of course her own people. After a long  talk they would in fact help though listening to Jason's advice it was best to wait until the Space Pirates withdrew their forces. So to that end, some people would update her on the situation as things progressed; not that it be hard with it being news in this part of the solar system.

She also had to deal with the Euvians odd(to her) 180 of saying Aleka was welcomed there anytime after properly respecting their ways. How that came from just being a champion she wasn't sure, but she supposed it dealt with how their culture was much different from theirs.

Because her mind had been rather pre occupied she hadn't thought about the further implications of what Jason had said earlier when he was around.  The first comment of maybe being surprised of who may be willing to help when it was announced she was in possible danger. She couldn't think of many on top of her head, but perhaps Acor did have other races that were fond of them she wasn't aware of.

She was also concerned about Lee going into that mess since they said Ki wouldn't really work on them. She was sure he could take care of himself anyway. Some might of found it strange she'd be concerned over his well being but she didn't consider them a enemy. Considering who his master was, it was better him then the alternative and it had come with some upsides. Unfortunately, she had no way to directly contact them at the moment so it was out of her hands.

In the mean time, she headed into her own private quarters where some of her friends were at, she needed that precious down time as much as anyone when she could take it.  Inside was Aleka, Reggie and Esta though the second had to leave for the time being. "I apologize for taking so long. Some unexpected things had come up."

"Hm? No need to apologize everyone been busy or on edge. Take a load off for once." Aleka said before patting a a spot down by the lounge. There was a great many of things going which was why Keya appreciated just relaxing and talking about more mundane things when she got the chance.

Keya gracefully did so, letting herself relax for a moment. "Thank you. I've been a bit bad about that as of late but  I'm trying to fix that. Political drama aside how have you two been? Have you spent any time with your family?" Aleka's husband and adopted kids weren't of this world anymore but she did have other family she spent time with.

Aleka shook her head, "All right. They've been adjusting to Acor pretty good the last times I've paid them a visit. They really didn't have to move all the way here for me but I appreciate they did. Ayla Has had some bullying problems though, keyword had. I told her if he didn't stop, to pop them since that's one of the only things bullies understand."

Esta frowned slightly at this. "I'm not trying to judge, but Isn't teaching violence a bit counter productive?"

"It can be and I'm not advocating it. Self defense is different. In a ideal universe no one would ever have to raise a fist or a weapon but its not how the world is. I'm not proud of them hurting anyone, just sticking up for themselves. It shouldn't be the first option but it also shouldn't ever be one" Aleka took a sip of her cup, not the best stuff but she needed her mental faculties fully functional instead of being plastered.

Esta was silent after, her face hard to read but became a wistful . "..I suppose you're not wrong. May I be excused? I need to attend something."

"You may. Remember my door is always open." After Keya's words Esta left and the other woman turned to Aleka. "Esta has come a long way but she still seems to have episodes."

"Almost everyone wears different mask and capes for this masquerade. Things like that? They don't go away easily. The best we can do is have a ear out but her family will be doing the most heavy lifting." Aleka frowned slightly into her cup, thinking. "My situation isn't entirely the same but I can relate. I'm still iffy about things after this time but I try not to let it dictate my life. Easier said then done."

"Indeed.." Keya agreed. "Only thing we have control is the here and now.

Aleka was had to agree completely with that, there was some blind spots Keya had as with just about everyone but overall she trusted her judgment.

It had taken a bit to get here, Acor wasn't exactly close to her home world, but Teala, queen of the Saiyan people and one of the strongest Saiyans around, steps off her ship, after receiving permission to land.

She got the news that Earth was under attack from a race called the Trojan. She, of course, knew about them. They were cybernetic conquerors who mainly stayed on their own side of the galaxy. For them to venture off and attack an unknown world like Earth, was strange indeed.

The only reason Teala cared about Earth enough to get involved, was because it was Jason's home and since he was the Godfather to her and Joseph's son, that made him practically family, and what bothered him, bothered her as well. So she gathered a small handful of troops and headed to Acor, since Their queen was right in the middle of this battle.

A knock was heard that interrupted Keya and Aleka's downtime discussion before a young woman stepped in with glasses and holding some data pad. Judging by her outfit they did seem to be some sort of guard or miltary. "Sorry to interrupt your majesty but important guest have arrived in queen Teala."

"It's fine. Thank you for letting me know Shalia." Keya dusted herself off as she got up. She would of talked to Andrien and his circle but since Ki users weren't a thing for this scenario she hadn't really talked to them about it.

They got to the to throne room where Keya and the others were waiting for Teala to be escorted inside she greeted them first.  She had an idea of why they were there but best not to assume. "It's pleasure to see you again, what can we do for you today?"

They had only ever seen each other on video screens, and this would be the first time they would have met in person "Thank you for having. Even as unannounced as I am." she says "I must say, I'm pleasently surprised to see that you are safe. Your message said you were in trouble." she points out.

Of course...

Keya had said that after what Jason had told her, he wasn't sure how much he had told Teala or anything at all. It may have seemed odd that Acor would of concerned itself with earth, but it likely had to deal with the pain of their history. No one had cared in the past and they wouldn't still be here without help from the outside, namely Eldar. So in a since they could relate.

"Thank you for coming, and you're correct at least intintially. We were in the process of potentially starting ties with earth when we were caught in the middle of Trojan heading to earth. Jason paid a unepected visit and teleported us away." Keya began. "The Trojan were a very unexpected surprise and a cause of concern due to how close earth is in general to Acor comparatively speaking. That's why we've been on a higher alert."

Teala nods slowly "I understand your concerns." she says "Even Cooler wouldn't directly confront the Trojan. They have the ability to absorb ki energy and use it to make themselves stronger." she explains.

The area around the ship distorts as Lee walks out of the distortion, in full battle armor, ready to kick Anyone's ass! He stops when he sees Teala and Keya "You're safe." he says.

Teala nods "Yes. Jason appeared and helped with that, just as the Trojan arrived." she explains "Do you, know anything about them, grandfather?" she asks.

Lee nods "Yes. But here is not the place to talk about it." he says.

Keya found that ability unusual and very convenient which fit with their nature of being created, she still just didn't know who made them and why. Jason just said they were a mistake and that was all she knew.

She was going to comment when Lee appeared from seemingly nowhere which took her off guard. Keya was a bit touched they had showed up. "Then, we can discuss things in my private chambers I use for meetings if the information is too sensitive. This way please."

Keya had reached the room and went to get her guest something to drink, if they desired anyway. "Did you two want anything?"

Lee shakes his head and Teala politely declines, before focusing on Lee "So, what exactly, do you know about the Trojan?" she asks.

Lee wasn't looking at anything particular "According to my source, they were created long ago, when one man attempted to bring his daughter back from the dead, using technology from his planet..." Lee starts.

"It seems like he got a little more than half way finished, when he snapped out of whatever mental state he was in, and realizing what he was doing, he felt disgusted with himself and scrapped the whole project, possibly believing the whole idea to be a mistake."Lee explains.

"So after he scrapped the project, it somehow came back and took over the planet, Cyberforming everyone." he grumbles "After that, it's pretty standard stuff. They got stronger the more people and worlds they Cyberformed and now they control a decent size of the galaxy." he finishes.

"What about your, uh, Master? Can't he help?" Teala asks, still not believing the whole 'Destroyer' thing.

Lee shakes his head "No. He said that since the Trojan are efficient at what they do, by destroying most of what they encounter, he can now take a 'much need' nap." he finishes.

The information Lee gave suddenly made sense of their ability to absorb Ki energy and grow stronger from it. They came from a result of trying to revive the dead but like many attempts it hadn't gone well. Keya was by no means a religious person but history had shown most times said attempts if they worked at all, almost never worked as intended.

Far as she knew, Sayains normal tech wasn't the best, however they did have their natural transformed state. "Just up to us who ever is involved. I do wonder..if they absorb Ki making them stronger then perhaps something opposite be a weakness? Not sure what that be.." She placed her wine glass to the side. "Do you know if the Trojan have any weaknesses that could potentially be exploited?"

Lee shrugs, as if not caring "I told you everything I know, currently, about them. My only goal was to make sure you were safe, since it was I who suggested you reach out to the Humans." he says "And now that you are, I care little about their fate."

"Then you care little about the fate of everyone on this side of the galaxy." Jason says, as he was suddenly There!

"Because if the Trojan win, do you Really believe that they'll stop with Just Earth?" he asks "You said it yourself, they destroy everything they encounter. Which Will include Acor, Alus, and eventually Vegeta and there's not a Thing any of those planets can do to stop them." Jason points out.

Lee frowns. He Knew Jason's words were true. After all, it's Very rare that he's ever wrong and if he says the Trojan will be a threat to Vegeta, then Lee believes it "They have a Queen. The daughter that was brought back to life. Use that information how you see fit." he says as he turns and heads out.

Keya truly hadn't expected Jason to show up, but it was a welcomed surprise none the less. She did have a reason to help earth besides ones she thought of, one of the main ones they were a threat in her backyard that couldn't be ignored.

"A queen? I wonder if that means they're hive mind.." Keya shook her head turned to Jason. "Thank you for coming. Do you know if the queen is apart of the fleet attacking earth?" If they were a hive mind, or at least linked it be foolish for them to have them close to any danger, unless they had to be somewhat close when attacking they were an unknown to her after all.

Jason nods "Yes. She's hanging back by the dark side of Earth's moon." he says "She's the only one who can cyberform a planet, while the scientists cyberform people." he explains.

He, then, looks past everyone, off into a distance that only he can see "Though..." he says slowly "We might... not have to get directly involved." he says with a chuckle "It looks like his knowledge will save us once more."

To an Acorian, the cyberforming an entire planet and transforming it from its natural state was something that unsettled her besides the obvious. They were nature beings, and though much more advanced then their days of living in the plains, they still culturally had a great deal of respect towards it.

She was about to comment further of what to do next when Jason mentioned they might not need to. The way he acted greatly confused her until she was reminded once again that he could know things others couldn't. "If that changes we'll be ready. If I may ask, whom are you talking about?"

Jason looks over to Keya. He had to remember rhat no one in this room knew of whom he was referring to "There is a being of great power, and is only getting stronger, who travels through different times and even realities. An ageless being who is in a near constant battle with the forces of evil, trying to help and save as many as he can." Jason says, as if starting a tale of an epic hero.

"This being of righteousness has traveled long and far, making countless friends, gathering numerous items, and acquiring a Vast library of knowledge..." he continues "In his travels, this being happened across another group of evil cybernetic lifeforms that, by themselves, were a pure force of nature." he explains.

"As seemingly unstoppable as these cybernetic monsters were, they had a fatal flaw. It was a virus that specifically targeted the cybernetic parts within the these creatures. An adaptable virus that the cybernetic conquerors could not defeat."

"That's all well and geed, but what good does this knowledge do us if we don't have this virus and this Being of good isn't here?" Lee asks with a frown, getting very impatient.

Jason smiles slightly "This traveler has visited our realm on many occasions and has even left his knowledge with some very trusted friends." he says "It's only a matter of if they can find this knowledge or not."

While it sounded somewhat far fetched, Keya kept a open mind as there were some rather unique and strange in this universe after all. "I see. Hopefully this friend of theirs can find this information. Is this person with the knowledge on earth right now?"

Jason nods "Yes. But whether or not they'll find is another matter and even If they find it, who's to say if they can Actually use this information, or if they can successfully use it against the Trojan." he says with a shrug.

"But if they Do tick all those boxes?" Lee asks.

"Then Earth will launch a Truly devastating weapon against the Trojan that will likely wipeout more than Half of their forces before they can slow it down." he says.

While they were talking Keya was typing a few things or another on their pad, likely for reminders and such of important information. It was important to have a back up plan just in case they weren't able to get the virus thing to work.

A voice was heard after a soft knocking on the door. "Your majesty, Retina has arrived as she told earlier. Is it all right if they are sent in?"

It wasn't of any surprise, of course at the news Retina would show up when she could but she couldn't drop everything at once. If they were going to coordinate something together, then it was best to be on the same page. "Of course. Send them in."

Moments later the automatic door opened revealing the elegant Eldarian queen who walked into the room. She met pretty much all the people in the room at least once, Keya being obvious, her visit to Vegeta and the brief time Jason and Joseph came for help for the full moon disaster that had been adverted somehow.

"I'm terribly sorry for the wait but I had other matters but rushed when I could when I heard you had too close of an encounter with those creatures." Retina didn't consider the Trojan so much a people as just a hostile force of nature.

Keya Had felt a bit guilty about that, but she had been told it was for the greater good. "I'm sorry for worrying you but I'm quite fine but I may not have been if not for Jason. We were discussing Trojan related things, could you keep most things discussed in this room unless needed?"

Retina didn't have to be told twice, she knew, already about keeping certain information private. "You have my word. Anything discussed will be considered confidential, unless said otherwise."

Lee looked like he was in deep thought "I say let the Humans be. They will either flourish or fall by their own volition." he says, arms folded.

Jason frowns " If it were Vegeta, would You simply let them die?" he asks "Though I might not spend much time on Earth anymore, it's still my home and I intend to see it continue to spin on." he growls.

Lee looks over to Jason "Yes. I would. If the Saiyan race can not stand on it's own against a floating garbage pile, then we don't deserve to exist." he growls back at Jason.

Teala gets between the two, before they end up destroying Acor "Please, you two. This isn't helping." she says, before looking at Lee "Grandfather, I want to help the Humans. They aren't warriors like the we, the mighty Saiyan race, and isn't it a warriors duty to help those who can not help themselves?" she asks, looking at him with those big, green eyes of hers.

There wasn't anything Lee wouldn't do for his family, and Teala knew this, and Lee Knew that Teala knew this "A warrior's duty is to follow the will of their leader..." he mumbles "If it is your wish to help the Earthlings... Then we shall help them." he says.

He sounded bitter when he said that, partially because he didn't feel pulling Saiyan lives on the line for weak Humans would gain any kind of rewards for the Saiyans. But Mostly because he didn't like showing weakness to anyone, especially Joseph and Jason.

Keya was concerned a fight was going to break out that could be ill afforded on a planet like Acor. Luckily before it could get out of hand Teala calmed things down which let Retina and Keya both give a internal sigh of relief.

"Is there a plan of action already settled on?" Retina asked after a moment to get things back on track and break the ice.

"Of sorts." Keya admitted. "There is someone who might be able to make a virus to cripple the Trojan. Failing that, we have word of their queen being around the earth's moon. Since the Space Pirates are also there, its probably best to wait for them to withdraw."

Retina shook her head after a moment. "Pulling the main fleets aren't practical as there are worlds and colonies that rely on our protection in our sector of space. However, I can arrange for the Delta Fleet to get here as there aren't anything that needs their immediate attention. There is also a small group here since we recieved word of you being in trouble. We'll be ready to move if need be."

Jason shakes his head "We might not Need to intervene, but have your forces ready Just in case." he says to Retina.

He, then, looks over to Teala "As much as it is a great thing that you want to help, with the exception of yourself, Broly, and Lee, any other Saiyan who tries to help, will only make things that much harder on everyone." he points out.

He finally looks over to Keya "I would be more concerned about Acor, than Earth at this point." he says "Should the battle go differently, and the Trojan lose by force of arms, they'll make a beeline for the closest inhabited planet and that would be Acor." he cautions.

Keya's face grew more concerned. "They would rush into another battle so quickly after suffering heavy losses?"

"That's why I had some of my people's nearby forces active and on high alert around here." Retina patted her old friend on the shoulder for a moment. "The only issue as I said is logistics and who's avaibale." Hopefully the virus would kill off the Trojan or cripple the race for good, but rarely were they that lucky,

She turned to Jason. "You mentioned Lee, Broly and Teala could help but not other Sayains. I take it that means that are certain types of Ki energy they Can't absorb?" That was useful information to know, not that it could really be taken advantage of, at least by her people but still.

Jason nods "There are certain energies out there that the Trojan can't identify and it's Those they they can't absorbe." he explains to Retina, before looking over to Keya "To put it bluntly? Yes. Even after suffering a massive lose, they would Still attack Acor, because frankly, your military isn't a match for them." he states.

He then nods to Retina "The Eldarian's, on the other hand, Would be a match for them. In fact, if the two races were to fight, the only way the Trojan would win, is through sheer numbers. Otherwise, they would destroy eachother, because neither race would gain or lose any ground." he points out.

He looks off in the distance, Lee knew he was looking at Earth "The battle for Earth is reaching it's finale." he mumbles "It's time I made an appearance and gave them the final piece of information that'll seal Earth's victory." he says as he puts two fingers to his forehead, blurs and disappears.

Keya felt a slight knot in her stomach, it had been some time since Acor had to deal with any kind of possible invasion, the ones more recent had been in her parents time who were no longer of this world. Still she was their leader and she'd see through this.

She put in a order to put the planet on yellow alert and the civilians be ready just in case before she put her com away. "I'm not sure how much we may be expecting or if they'll hit ground fall but I wanted to be safe then sorry so the civilians have some time to get a bit of safety."

"I'll make sure my own are on stand by and when the other fleet gets here to be around Acor space." Retina confirmed.

Keya was grateful for that as she turned to Lee and Teala. "Do you intend to stay?" She wouldn't blame them and Jason did say the Eldarians should have it handled..then again Sayains weren't exactly known for running away from possible fights either.

Lee thought it best to decline, stating that the Acorians were on their own and that they had their own people to worry about "Of course we'll stay and help." Teala says, deciding for the both of them.

Lee sighs as he looks over to Teala "My Queen, a moment of your time." he says. Lee Rarely refers to them by their title, but when he does, he usually means business.

Both Lee and Teala move away from the group "My Queen, as your advisor, I Strongly recommend leaving the Acorians to their fate. If we were to stand against the Trojan, our people will be seen as a threat and When they come to our planet, there would be little we could do against them." he explains in a low tone.

Teala looks disturbed by this "But with the Eldarians help, we could finish them off once and for all." she tries to reason with Lee.

Lee shakes her head "No, we won't. The ensuing battle will destroy Acor and both the Acorians and the Eldarians will perish along side the Trojan." he explains.

Teala shakes her head in frustration "You don't know that for certain." she protests.

Lee nods "But I Do know that for certain. Jason said that the only way the Trojan could win, is by strength in numbers, otherwise the Trojan and Eldarians would destroy each other. He didn't say anything about the Eldarians winning." he points out "Also, you Must know that what they attacked Earth with isn't All of their forces. They control thousands of planets on the other side of the galaxy and have the force of arms to hold them." he finishes.

Teala, solemnly, looks over to her fellow monarchs "So, what you're saying, is that no matter ahat we do, there's no saving them?" she asks in a low tone.

"-In case the worse happens, there should be evacuation plans as well. I'd normally say Beacon Points but its too risky." Retina finished with her friend. "Though, ideally taking out the Queen would be the goal the issue is getting to them. I think perhaps a small stealth team is the best bet with enough distraction."

"Perhaps so.." Keya mumbled. "If I'm honest, I'm a bit frightened of all this. You sure can't spare more?"

"i'm afraid not." Retina said. "At least none that be here on time, we're stretched at the current time, and our technology isn't what it used to be after the Sundering either after our empire collapsed. You need to prepare to leave as well in case."

"I will not." Keya said with more steel in her voice.. "I can't be content with myself if I abandoned my people in their time of need. The Trojan will come anyway, the rest is simply buying time. But..that's the problem. If so many hadn't ignored things until they got to this big of a threat we might of been in this issue. I am afraid, but that doesn't mean I'll let it control me."

"An admirable point young one, but dying a matry won't help either when Acorians exist in other worlds. Still.." Retina smiled slightly. "..You've always been stubborn since a child when your mind is made up. If we make it through this in one piece I have..plans forming in my old head of mine. So a threat like the Trojan or possibly worse from outside the galaxy doesn't catch everyone flat footed again."

Keya was curious what it was but it could wait, as there were more important things going on.
