In her transformed state she's an 'Battle Songtress  she sings hymns that have various effects as well as having a few combat related skills though limited at the time. Hymn special effects do not stack. They don't require physical contact, but they must be in a fifty feet radius.

Hymn Of Healing: She can heal herself or allies, depending on the severity of the wound, the more it drains on her energy reserves.

Light Melee: Her only(at the moment) offensive technique. She empowers all her melee attacks with the element of light, which moderately increases her melee damage.

Swift Hymn: When active, allies get an increase in speed by fifty percent, it last for about ten minutes

Strength Hymn:  When active, allies get an increase in strength by fifty percent. It last about ten minutes.

History:

 Nyisa, unlike her brother wanted to find out whatever happened to her biological parents, and what exactly they were since while they knew weren't human, no one seemed to know. She didn't let that question consume her but it was always something that nagged at her before placing it at the back of her mind.

They're mostly normal life took an turn of being quite different  when both herself and her brother became magic knights, when two items in her mother's possession, powerful magical artifacts ended up with them. Long story short of it, her mother was once apart of a team of Magic Knights but gave up that life, while the two items are from deceased friends from the said team. An mutual friend went behind her back to give them said items, and after the blow up left.

Tara was reluctant to get her adopted children involved in that life style, but never the less as the damage had been done went to at least teach them the basics. Even though their mother is/was quite powerful she was sick of fighting and preferred to stay out of it besides self defense of herself or loved ones.

When she and her brother got the pendants that made their lives a bit more interesting, she decided to do the best she could to support her brother, as well as juggle school life.
