Hot and Humid (but only during the day)!

"Hopefully its nothing too serious." Adell said more to himself then anyone else.

Yulina looked around. "Huh? Where's Babette?"

"Probably doing something. She'll be fine, Yulina." Samanntha said, knowing the other woman was who knows how old. You didn't survive that long being stupid.

At that, the young Ralphlim dropped it for now but then something else seemed to click. "Why do they call it Star-patrol if has nothing to do with stars?"

"Good question..really no clue."

Amanda blinks, wondering where this came from "It's not 'Star' patrol, it's 'Stal' patrol." she clarifies

"It's short for Stal-Foes. Which are creatures that roam the fields during the night." she explains.

"As for Babette, she didn't come here as we did, so she opted to leave the same way, as to not draw and suspicion." she says.

"Oh.." Yulina said, a bit embarrased by the mistake.

"It happens." Samantha said patting her back before turning to her granddaughter, might as well take the chance to get to know them a bit more. "What's your home realm like and does it have a name?"

Amanda looks on over to Samantha "It doesn't have an official name. It's a realm of chaos, as you might have guessed, being home to a Goddess of Chaos. Though, as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder." she says "One person's chaotic mess is another person's paradise."

"It was surprisingly tame when I went there, but maybe that's part of the point." Adell said idly. He wasn't sure why but he was actually looking forward the boat ride, mainly because it would be relaxing.

Amanda nods slightly "Like I said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Not everyone sees it as a paradise. Mother certainly doesn't." she points out.

It wasn't long before the Stal-Patrol transport shows up "All aboard for the Immigration Port." says the driver.

Amanda climbs on in. This time it was like a small bus "I've been wondering, if these vehicles can fly, why not just fly over the fields and not even worry about the Stal-Foes?" she asks the driver.

He nods with a chuckle "That's a good question. I suppose it's mainly because the style of G-Defusers that we use for out vehicles are only made to hover off the ground, and not fly." he explains "But the lab boys and girls are certainly working on it."

Adell, Yulina and Samantha get in after Amanda did. "How long have your people been working on flying cars? Samantha was somewhat interested, more of idle curiousity then anything else.

The driver shrugs slightly "Not sure. It's not something we've ever been too interested in perfecting until recently." he says. After everyone was all settled in, he radios in his departure time and they take off towards the Immigration Port.

Yulina soon fell asleep during the trip, car rides always made her sleepy for some reason and since this was smoother then any earth car, it only made more sense. Adell didn't say anything, lost in his own world and thoughts at the moment.

Samantha was wondering about things at earth and the few things she heard bothered her. Save for Yulina, the rest of her family could take care of themselves. Regardless of whatever Amanda may have thought, she considered her family and would do her best to look after her as well.

However, they should be all right. Earth had its issues but it was a decent place to live if you knew how to stay low. It was just the concern of the Hunter Alliance and these other forces starting to gather. The old Hunter group had its faults, but it mostly left you alone if you didn't do anything; even during the time it had bad leadership.

Now that they were taking a more hands off approach, some groups were becoming more bold. She was no fool. Some might say they were doing it as for the good of the whole, but it couldn't hide their less then altruistic intentions if they did get into power.

She guessed it wouldn't be a dull moment if nothing else.

It didn't take them long to get to the Immigration Port, though they did stop and pick up a few others on their way to the IP as well.

((I suppose all are out. Did you want to go through the Port say they had gone through already and are back on Earth?))
