General Description: Dog Demons are a powerful demon race that are called such
because of the dog-like ears they have been known to have in their humanoid form. Or in the case of their 'other' form a giant demonic dog. They are considered Daiyokai. Even in the Feudal Era, they were rare and in the modern age their numbers are very small. In these times, they typically keep quite and to themselves. They are same race as the
series, Inuyasha.

Origin: No one is quite sure where they hail from, but its said they're an demon race
that originates from the earth realm, evolving into what they are today.

Alignment: The race has scattered alignment, though on average many of them are neutral

Home Lands: Japan is the closes thing to their home land, as such the large
majority of what is left of their population is found there, if not
scattered elsewhere.

Language: The most common language are Japanese or English. Sometimes both.

Personality: As Dog Demons, they have more then physical traits in common with them.
One of the dogs most well known traits is loyalty. If they are loyal to something or someone, its very hard for them to break out of it usually. Dog Demons are also slightly possessive and protective of those they care for, especially their own mates.

Physical Description: In their normal form, its hard to tell them from humans except in some cases with them known to have Dog-like ears. They are usually tall, with sharp features and fairly attractive. They have also been known to have odd marks that look like tattoo's, in reality are
birth marks.

In their true form, they resemble large, great white demonic dogs with red eyes. The birthmark in this state is usuallyfound on their forehead. They stand roughly 20'0 high and sixteen feet long and weigh about the same weight as a elephant, maybe a bit more. There are cases where they have grown even larger.

Life-Span: Two Thousand Years.

Name: Since they originate from Japan or at least have been there so long, most of their names are Japanese based.

Relations: This largely depends on the individual in question. As their numbers
dwindled close to nothing and they had to adapt, they've become much
more accepting of other races. Knowing in order to survive, they had to
adapt or die out.

Natural Power Set:

(EX) Enhanced Senses.
Dog Demons have exceptionally sharp senses, particularly their sense of
smell. Weak to the opposing effects. They also have animal instincs,
which explains why they can be possesive at times(mostly towards those
they have a romantic interest in)

(EX) Superhuman stats. On average, a Dog Demon at their base strength can lift 20 times their
weight and all their physical prowess is around that level. They can get stronger by training and fighting as can their giant Dog Form.

(EX) Enhanced Healing, they heal at a faster rate then humans. For example, a cut would take
seconds to while a broken bone an hour. It's not however, instant.

(EX) Hardy biology. In short, they can take more damage then an normal humanoid could
before succumbing to their wounds. They can survive things such as getting impaled to the stomach, but nothing of the nature of getting their heart cut, beheaded and the like. In addition they have above average pain tolerance.

(EX) Demonic Energy Manipulation. They can manipulate their own energy for various uses. The two most basic is making a solid energy whip(melee) which is about as strong themselves. Or generate a strange cloud which they can fly on under their feet. They can learn various other attacks, such as projectiles, beams and the like. The power of said attacks depends on the person, and how much energy they put into it though are usually only of moderate at base unless they charged them.

(EX) They are resistant to poison and acid effects, but can generate either in their attacks, usually through their claws in an attempt to further damage their opponent.

(EX) Great Dog Form.

How they get their name sake, Dog Demons can turn into large dogs. Their strength,
durability and stamina are about 50x their weight.

(EX) Regeneration. This is was an unknown ability until recently discovered by Sesshomaru, who in his rage managed to channel enough Youkai into his missing limb to regrow it. In short, it allows user to regrow their arms or legs, how long depends on the user but its not instant.
