Personality:

Hiroshi is a young man that has a host of inner demons but this isn't always obvious until one spends time getting to know them. He doesn't have a high opinion of himself and has a case of imposter syndrome. While he'll believe in others, he has a harder time believing in himself being his own worse enemy and critic. Despite this, Hiroshi is ultimately a good but flawed person that is trying to figure things out and be better.

He's very loyal to those close to him, and for some reason finds himself a bit of a strangeness magnet even during down time. Often being the straight man, even if its just internally to whatever strangeness is going on.

Fireball: Just a normal fireball to do moderate damage. He can angle it(kind of) but doesn't really have the control he would like.

Flame Burst: An fire attack that's an AOE(Area of effect) burst of fire from his person. The range is about thirty feet from them, if released all at once.

Inflame: The name is somewhat self-explanatory, he can empower his attacks with fire to do more damage then normal.

History:

Hiroshi was adopted at a early age by his parents, never knowing his biological ones. In the case of his step parents, he didn't have the best time with them. His father was mostly absent being away on business most of the time, and the times he was home was indifferent at best. At worse, there was a impossible standard to live up to as they were a perfectionist and didn't think Hiroshi would ever accomplish much. His adopted mother was a strange case of being emotionally abusive more subtly and being obessed with him when he got older.

The main reason Hiroshi turned out relatively well adjusted despite not having the best background is all the time he spent with the Izumi family acting more as positive counter balance to things as well naturally leaning towards being a good person to start. His childhood friend was a Sayain named Fumitsuki who grew up really close, that in her family was from a long line something called Nixa, a magical girl that was essentially a special type of witch.

This led to later on conflicts with Oni once the power of Nixa was passed down to their oldest daughter, going through many conflicts. There was a younger sister born named Taki, but for one reason or another she wasn't chosen to be Nixa but instead their older adopted sister. This led to resentment and jealously, although it was something the Oni took advantage with to turn them to their side.

Later on, the conflict came to a head with the death of Suki but Taki being free from their influence from the Oni. It was a rough time for everyone but something that came apparent was at least to Hiroshi later he had used Suki sort as a emotional crutch as not to face some things he been trying to ignore. Around this time, a being of darkness known as Obliterator had survived the battle and taken refuge inside Hiroshi.

The Oni Overlord was freed later on, leading to a conflict of ups and downs. It ended with Taki defeating the Overlord after regaining her full power and using a powerful spell at the cost of her soul. Or at least it would have if not for the Obliterator sacrificing himself so Taki would live. Despite this, for reasons that still baffle him, Hunters and some of the others still don't give Taki credit and instead putting it on him. This not only irritates him but also make him feel like a bigger fraud. It doesn't help with random people he didn't know thank him for it when he literally did nothing.

The post aftermath of things had Hiroshi reflect on many things, such as the fact prior to Suki's death, he hadn't paid as much attention to Taki as he should have and he had been using Suki during that time to avoid some ugly things. He was going to try do better by those around them, and himself which led to therapy even if he Really didn't want to.

Initially, after Taki regained her full power Hiroshi was  briefly considering retiring. After all, it wasn't like she needed him anymore to help in fights and the gap was huge now. What was the point of even trying? Without Obliterator or something else, he himself was nothing. However, he decided not to listen to the negative inner voices that he couldn't do it, he at least owed it to himself  and Taki to try. So he joined the Hunters, with the long term goal of actually be strong enough to help Taki against the things she'd likely inevitably attract since he couldn't in good conscious Not at least try to help Taki even if it took him a while. The second goal was to prove something to himself, that he could actually do something. The longer goal, if things permitted was to become a therapist. The later was more recent, but something he came to as his journey is both physical and mental.

Time will tell how things will go.
