General Description:

Kian's are a small population mermaid-like race that were a surviving causality of Noreal's more brutal and blood soaked past. While other races were wiped out during the Warring Era, some like the Kian's survived and became small populations .

In the past, their scales had various properties that made them a sought after group during those times. Things have thankfully changed since those darker times

They live small families scattered around in different parts of Noreal where easy access to water is around or smaller settlements since their population isn't as big.

Personality:

Kian's like most beings vary, but they are a very honor bound and a martial culture. Since their own history was them being trampled on and abused one would think they be extremely xenophobic. In truth while they still have distrust towards main races, they are more open minded to those they don't have a negative history with.

Physical Description:

When in their mermaid-like state, they look as you'd expect with their lower half being a fish tail, in their other state they look human-like. The one exception is some members of their race have pointed ears or ears similar to this. These differences, as minor as they are did in the past when they far more numerous cause petty divisions among their people, thinking one was better then the other until external threats made them focus on what was truly important.

Relations: Kian's, at least in the modern day are much more trusting of dominant four races, however some still are cautious or have older views.

Natural Power Set:

(SU) Enhanced Stats: Kian's stats are ten times that of a normal person.

(SU) Minor Shift: They can switch between their lower half being that of two legs or that of a fish depending on the environment.

In addition, while they can't breath under water they can hold their breath for a few hours. In order to remain healthy they also need to be submerged in water from time to time or they can get sickly or tired.

(EX) Cold Tolerance: Due to living among the water or typically inside, they have a very high tolerance of cold but on another side.

(EX) Electricity and Fire Weakness: They have a weakness to both these elements, and generally don't function too well in hot environments at all.

(EX) Kian have the ability to grow stronger fighting and training.

(SU) Water And Ice Manipulation: They can manipulate water, starting with basic things and ice, which is a advanced technique and much harder to learn for them. They can't control water in people's bodies and such however.

(EX) Dark Vision: Due to adapting to searching and at times being in the depths, they can see in total darkness.
