In the past, Jonathan was a bit more on the hot-headed side when certain buttons get pushed, and while that has changed he still very protective of his friends and those close to him. Though having his own faults, he's a very loyal and dependable friend.

Empower Weapon: Jonathan can empower his melee or throwing weapons with his energy to do a bit more damage.

Aura Blast: A area of effect energy attack, doesn't do that much damage but is good as a get off me tool. Range of 15 feet before tampering off.

Stone Wall: Increases his natural defense by effectively doubing it, technique passed down in his family.

Offense Form: Doubles strength for a short few minute period. Also something passed down in his family.

Rocket Slash: A fast slash performed with a sword, only out of the ordinary is it seems unusually fast.

Divine Storm: A dual Crush attack that can only be performed with Charlotte present. A intense flood of rain will come down to damage their enemies. It has a range of a hundred feet.

 Grand Cruz: Jonathan is surrounded by energy which explodes around him, some of the energy takes the shape of a cross as it swirls around him. Not as powerful as the combined attack version performed with Charlotte but enough to punch to suffice.

History:

Jonathan is from the Morris family line which is said to be related to the Belmont family and thus execeptations were put on them. The problem was the legendary weapon they were suppose to wield was also the same tool that lead to a early death. Only a true Belmont could wield the whip's power without adverse effect, and only they could truly bring out its full power.

John knew this fact but found out too late, but because of this he taught his son how to fight but Not how to use the power of the whip. He wanted Jonathan to get strong and find his own skill set without having to rely on the whips power that proved to be deadly for non Belmonts. It was a fact that wasn't told wasn't told to Jonathan for reasons unknown to this day, which caused some resentment due to misunderstanding.

Johnathan along with his childhood friend Charlotte Aulin ended up going to Castlevania where they ended up proving their worth by defeating its current ruler at the time and freeing Eric Lecarde from the vampire Brauner and his control.

Late on, for reasons unknown they had ended up in present time with Charlotte. It was a very confusing and jarring experience the first time but with them on their side, he not only adjusted but began to really apperciate the time he was in.

He and Charlotte have been doing their own thing making bit of a name for themselves since then. Jonathan still had the goal of forging another path away from the legacy of the whip so his family could maybe be known for something else one day.
