Personality:

Tyler is friendly enough and generally pretty personable in his day to day life. His brother's death and the path he went on his a major motivation of being the person he is. At the end of the day as he personally see's it, he's just a normal guy trying to get through a crazy world. As such his concern and focus is on the people closes to him. Not to say he won't help if its within his power, just leave the crazier stuff to heroes and marty's which he was neither nor wanted to be. He knew how those tended to end up.

History:

Tyler's history isn't the most happy one from the earlier years. At a early age it was just himself and his baby brother trying to get through the foster home system while trying to survive Fury City. It wasn't a easy task and once Tyler was old enough he got himself and his little brother a place to stay. It was a piece of crap and had a lot of issues, but it was one of the first few things that was truly there's.

However, his brother did fall into the wrong crowd and joined a gang while their brother was busy trying to keep a roof over their heads and balance being a parental figure to them. Tyler only found out later which caused a huge blow up and some strain between their relationship. Tyler understood to a certain extent, if only because he had to do things he wasn't too proud of to make ends meet for the both of them from time to time.

One day one of the last things he heard from his brother was a letter saying he was going to try to get out, but if it didn't go well please don't go looking for revenge and live his best life. His brother was killed signaling it did not go well with what they were doing, and while Tyler first gut was to ignore it and go revenge he knew it be a futile effort. He wasn't a hardcore fighter and the police were useless in this city half the time on the best of days not to mention revenge tended to create a circular cycle.

So instead he took his deceased brother's last words to heart and focused back on his schooling so he could get out of that little personal hell hole. He had a friend had gotten out of this place all the way in Japan so perhaps he'd head there on a tech job, at least that was the part of the plan.

By a twist of fate instead he found himself ended up in Second Chances as professional match maker, which was in part because his friend recommended him ran by a woman named Monica Kenzy. His personal experience, personality and skills ironically made him very adept at that kind of job.

The name of the business irony wise wasn't lost on him.
