Nikki ended up on earth years ago after moving away from her home with her childhood friend Aiden who she settled down with. For a while they lived a peaceful life, but tragically he was killed around the time Kylie was born protecting his family. The events and exactly what happened is a touchy subject that Nikki doesn't talk too much about.
