General Description:

It's said they became more domesticated as they spent more time during the various scattered settlements and villages. One thing that was noted about them was their strong bonds with their pack, intelligence and strong amount of power for their size. A average Rish Sheppard can lift many times their weight, and can grow stronger due to the supernatural enertgy stored into their muscles.

Rish Shepperds are known not only for protecting people and live stock from predators; but also people in general from things such as evil spirits. Their teeth has a special substance that allows them to hit non corporeal enemies. It's said its due to the energy stored inside themselves, and judging by the fact they have been able to hit such beings physically with their body that idea holds true.

A Rish's teeth grow throughout their life, and will at times leave teeth behind so this should be noted with proper care.

Rish Sheppeards came from a breed of Demon Wolf in the country of Rischtaroch in Noreal.

Personality:

Rishtaroch, like most dogs form very close bonds with their family and become fiercely protective if they are threatened. Generally though, they are mellow and easy going even the ones in a more tense enviorment such as helping farmers protect their live stock from predators. The key to this is their ability know when to work, and when to play. Play hard, work hard sums them up pretty well.

They are also generally very gentle with children and will have the urge to guard them. This normally isn't a problem as they know what and what doesn't count as a threat but its something to keep in mind. They can break the back of a Lion or chase of a evil spirit only for a hour later to roll on their back to have a child rub their stomach as if nothing happened.

Physical Description: They stand roughly six feet from the shoulder on fully grown and have the general shape and look of a wolf-dog. Their fur is on average black with red around their right side and neck. A fully grown Rish Shepperd can weigh around three hundred plus pounds.

In some cases, they have been known to have different fur color such as silver and the like. This is more rare, as black is the standard.

For the most part, they are fine with most humanoids but its on a case by case basis with other things.

Natural Power Set:

(EX) They are far physically stronger then their size would be led to believe, as stated. This is due to the energy stored within their bodies which allows them to grow stronger still. They can lift about fifty times their weight.

(EX) Incorporeal Touch: Due to their energy, they can physically effect beings normally not able to.

(EX) Enhanced Senses: They have night vision, and a enhanced sense of smell, sight and hearing.

(EX) Strong vitality: Rish are Very hard to put down and though they can't survive saying having their head cut off they can take a lot of damage before going down.

(EX) Healing: Rish heal at a fast rate with the damage done to their bodies. For example a cut would take seconds while a broken bone would take at least a few minutes. The more tired they are, the slower the healing is.

One minor thing to note, thinking about their alignment would be more 'good' on average. They're far more intelligent then normal dogs. Of course how you raise them plays a lot into it as well.
