Moving On Up (cont)

The training area was going to be set up to the individuals choice for this test. Mistie felt it would be best to make the participants as comfortable as possible, that way they could give their A game. But for now, it was just a rocky wasteland.

Mistie looks over at the recruits "Okay, so who's gonna want to go first?" she asks.

Ace steps forward "I would like to go first, if that is alright with everyone." she says.

Mistie nods "Alright. Let's go over the type of terrain you would like to battle in and we'll get it all set up." she says to her fellow Time Patrol member.

Reizo had expected Yin to be the very first one to go forward but it seemed like Ace beat them to it for the time being. It should be interesting if nothing else to see how some of the others had progressed he hadn't interacted with as much.

Mistie walks over to a control panel "Where would tou like to go to battle?" she asks.

Ace walks over "Please allow me to take care of this part." she says as she taps a few things on the screen. The whole area blures slightly and suddenly, the group were on a strange forest planet.

Ace nods "This is perfect..." she looks over to Mistie "Shall we, then?" she asks and the young woman nods as the two of them tale off.

Yin looks over to Wendy "So, just wondering, where in the Nine Hells are were?" she asks.

Wendy looks over to the group "We're on Ficus 2. It's known for it's hostile indigenous creatures and highly poisonous plants." she says, casually "I strongly advise you all to stay close to the perimeter." she cautions.

Reizo didn't know they had holodeck tech this advanced but he really shouldn't have been all that surprised for the most part. "All right. First time I heard of this planet, not sure if its in my universe or not."

Wendy nods "Yes. It's in our home dimension. Ace found itbwhen she was looking for a world like her's in other dimensions, incase she ever got stranded." she explains "While there Are better planets out there than this one, she said it had spirit."

"So does the real version of this world have any sentient beings in it or is it just wildlife?" Even if it was similar to her home, it probably be a lonely home without people to talk to and interact with.

He was thinking he'd offer his turn soonish when it came time, since for good or ill with how well he did he wanted his turn out the way.

Wendy quarks a brow "This Is the real version of Ficus 2. We're Actually on the planet." she points out "And no. Not at this point in it's history. One day it will, though."

Reizo briefly scratched the back of his head. "Oh. For some reason I was thinking we were in some realistic holodeck and not the real place.."

"It was a type of Instant Transmission device that Ace had messed with, wasn't it?" Bow asks "When the room blured, that was us actually traveling across the universe to get to this place, right?" he asks, but knew he was right.

Wendy nods "That's right. But instead of Instant Transmission, it's more like Kai-Kai. It takes us to different dimensions, and not just different places in ine dimension." she explains. Her Patrol gear starts beeping, letting her know that she was being tagged in "Off I go. I'll be back in a bit. Stay right in this area. It's safe here." she says, then takes off.

"Wow! So we just crossed dimensions and didn't even know it!" Yin says, excited about it "If we had something like this back at Patrol HQ, we could go Anywhere we wanted!".

"Probably. But its also probably not something more casually used." Dimensional travel didn't phase them, after all some of his friends and people he met weren't from where he was. To this day he didn't know what criteria they used for picking candidates since the personalities and walks of life were vastly different.

Bow looks over to the young woman "Well, you're in luck. Because we already have devices at the Time Patrol that allow us to do this exact thing." he says "It's our Time Machines that we use for missions, remember?" he points out.

Yin gets a little embarrassed about forgetting the very thing that lets them do their job in the first place, and having it pointed out to her.

Bow looks over to Reizo "So, what have you been upto this past year?" he asks "Have you been keeping up with your training?" he asks. This was directed at both Reizo and Yin.

Reizo thought a bit about it. "Not as much. I been mostly been training, going on missions and learning more about my hertiage since they have a place where a lot of Alusarian's hang out. What about you?"

Bwo frowns "If you really wanna learn about your people, just go to Alus. I'm sure you'll learn a thing or two about them from their home planet." he points out.

"As for me, I've been chilling on Earth. It's a very interesting planet. Never a real dull moment there." he says, not really going into details about what's happened over the last year.

"Well, I'VE been training my butt off trying to get stronger..." Yin says "I wanna show all the others out there that Human's can be Just as strong, if not stronger, than they are!" she says, thumping her chest with pride.

"Maybe later." It was just a lot more convenient then going somewhere else but maybe he'd take Berry to visit or something if she wanted to tag along.

"If you keep it up, sure you'll reach your goal one day." He said to Yin, but really Wendy was already proof Human's could get plenty strong. She was already stronger then anyone he had sensed before coming here.

Bow quarks a brow "I assume you mean back in your own dimension?" he asks "Because the Enforcer proves that Human's can be quite powerful, and that's not even mentioning her brother. He makes the Enforcer look weak by comparison." he says "But keep this in mind, if a race like Mine, who has a hard time with anything Ki related, can become awesome, than a race like Human's, who don't have a hard time with Ki, can become just as awesome, in less time." he chuckles.

Reizo shook his head. "Well, yeah I already know. I was just speaking to Yin..but then again I kind of just assumed she was from another dimension. I never really asked, are you from the prime one?" He asked Yin.

Bow nods "Yeah, so was I." he says to Reizo.

Yin shakes her head "No. And I'm not from the one Bow and Ace are from either." she says, but doesn't elaborate.

With how usually Yin was, Reizo thought she'd be happy to go into her home but it seemed like whatever reason she didn't want to go into it which was her choice. In the mean time he found a spot to meditate as he waited, the conversations had went into a comfortable lull and he had nothing else to add but wait.

Something blurs slightly and suddenly Wendy, Mistie, and Ace appear. Ace was holding Mistie up "Okay, now just set her against that tree while I take up back to the Training Area so I can get her a senzu bean." Wendy says as she messes with the controls.

Mistie looked out of it "Wuth that..? Wuth's goon on..?" she slurs her words as she drools, her body a bit limp as her head lools around "Wha ca I no fee ma fath..?"

Ace carefully sets Mistie down "I'm so sorry, love. I hit you with a powerful neurotoxin, but I didn't think it would effect you like This." she says, dabbing the drool from Mistie's mouth.

Reizo broke form his meditation on hearing the new voices, seeing Mistie a bit out of it obviously by how she was acting. He was a bit concerned but it should be okay with a sensu bean. He got up. "What exactly happened?"

Ace frowns as Wendy takes off "Well, the reason I picked the planet I did, was so I could send my Ki throughout the flora, making it seem I was everywhere, then launch my attack against Mistie..." she starts "Well, after a game of Cat and Mouse, I finally got a shot at her with a neurotoxin thorn, but it seems that one of Mistie's heritages was weak against the toxin and it effected her more strongly then anticipated." she finishes.

Reizo could understand that part, it would make sense despite Mistie being a lot stronger physically. "I see. I'm not a expert on that kind of thing so can't comment what it might do to certain people. She should be ok once Wendy comes back. I didn't know Sensu could help with toxins too."

Ace nods "Yes, so long as it's not a natural flu, they can help with any foreign problems." she explains as she tends to Mistie.

Another minuet later and Wendy pops back in "Okay, I got it. But we're running a little low back at HQ, so let's try to keep the use of them to a minimum." she advises as she pops one in Mistie's mouth.

Ace stands "Well, now that I'm back I can take over for the minor injuries." she says, offering her services.

Mistie stands back up "Woo... I have to give you props for that strategy, it was pretty effective against me." she says.

Bow smashes a fist into his hand "Awesome! Now that you're better, it's My turn!" he says, getting pretty excited about fighting again. It's been so long since he had faced a challenging opponent that he was really looking forward to this fight and with Mistie no less! She always seemed So much stronger than the other recruits, now was his time to shine!

Reizo was curious how much stronger Bow had gotten during his time away. He didn't Feel much different, he acted a bit different slightly in some ways though he could admit that much.

Mistie nods as she moves away from the control panel "Okay, where would you like to go to hold your test?" she asks.

Bow thinks for a bit "Home. I wanna go home. I want to show everyone just how much better I had gotten since I first left all those years ago." he says, grinning.

Mistie frowns a bit. She didn't know if that was allowed, but she Supposed any damage done can be fixed with the Dragon Balls. She punches in the coordinates and the platform blurs and reappears on a sun scorched world.

Bow smiles a broad smile "Ah... home. It's been ages since I've been back." he points "The desert where Hammond dropped me off is Just that way. We can spar there." he says as his aura flares up and he takes off followed by Mistie.
