Heavenly Host (M)

((This is a closed post for only a select few characters. Noone may join, unless they do the Sachiko Ever Charm.))

After the earthquake and subsequent fall. Ross awakes to find himself in an old class room of an elementary school. It was dark, but that didn't bother him What did, was the fact that the school seemed to be falling apart and the smell. It smelled like death in this school and Ross could hear the whispers of the dead everywhere.

He knew this couldn't be too pleasant for Dysis, being what he was and all. But that wasn't his concern at the moment. His concern for right now was finding Dysis' girlfriend and making sure they both get back to the real world in one piece.

However, from what Ross heard about this Tracy girl from Lost, that might be harder then originally planned. She seemed to cave into stressful situations pretty easily and this one seemed to be plenty stressful, if one hadn't been through harder times, like he had.

He looks out one of the grimy windows. It was dark and rainy. There was a massive and dense forest surrounding the school. He tried he window, it didn't budge. Ross frowns and pull out his gun and slams the butt against the glass. Nothing. The window might as well have been painted on for as much as he had damaged it.

He grumbles some profanities and heads to the doors. Same thing on of the doors, but the other opens easily. The outside of the classroom looked just as bad as the classroom it's self. There were large parts of the floor missing and there was the smell of blood and decay everywhere. Ross puts his gun away and looks back "Come on. The sooner we find the others, the faster we an get out of here." he says. Though, he was sure he didn't need to tell Dysis that.

Dysis did Not like this place, it set his Nosferartu side of him on edge in a way that was different from a normal human. Humans were resourceful but they effectively knew while they were on a instinc level on the food chain. It was what they made that made them much higher then they ever could be naturally.

Nosferartu were in part predators in the past and even now still creatures of the dark. So to be in this atmosphere and not be able to use their gifts irked that side a great deal then it did inspire fear.

It was similar to a lion wandering around, but unable to use its claws or fangs while cackling Hyena's circled around.

Ross was wandering around and spies quite a number of dead bodies. Some were only skeletons at this point and some were fairly fresh. They ranged from elementary students to college student and the manner of thei deaths ranged from simple starvation to having their stomach cut open. One highschool girl was even hung by her own intestines and it was apparent that she was alive when it happened.

Ross paid none of these any mind. But did pause mid step when he hears something. It was coming from one of the class rooms. He cautiously slides the door open and standing by the black board was a student. He looked very much alive, but there seemed to be something wrong. He was holding his head and rocking sightly, all the while chanting "Not the games. Not the games. Not the games... over and over.

Dysis was troubled as he had never seen anyone dead in person before it was unerving. What really bothered them were the younger bodies, just some kids trying something and thinking it was just a game or something before it went horribly wrong.

He wasn't some hero and generally tried to avoid things that didn't involve him, at the same time he couldn't just ignore when right in front of him. Dysis wondered if there was some way to put an end to this death trap for good, but he doubted there was anything he could do about it.

The stranger gave him pause, he had enough survival instincs not to just rush over and seen enough horror movies to know as a teenager he was a prime target to die if he was in a horror movie. "Are you okay?"

Ross places a hand on Dysis' shoulder, than moves him out of the way "Look. At his feet." he says. By the young man's feet was a now noticable pool of blood. At the sound of the voices, the youn man stiffens up, slowly lowers his hands, which were also covered in blood, then suddenly spins and charges the two of them, the front of his shirt and mouth were covered in blood as well!

Ross pushes Dysis out of the room as the young man pulls out a pair of large crafting scissors! He brings them down on Ross, who had seen the young man telegraphing his move so much, he might as well told Ross directly what he was about to do.

Ross grabs the man's had in mid swing, but uses his momentum to throw the deranged young man into a pile of desks. Before the young an could get up, Ross was already over there and kicks him hard in the face! There was a Very audible crunch as Ross breaks the man's nose, knocking him out in the process.

Ross kicks the scissors away, then heads over to where the young man was standing, on a hunch. He frowns at what he sees, then starts back away, but pauses when he gets to the young man. Ross pulls out some ziptie cuffs and zipties the young man to a desk.

Dysis wasn't much of a fighter, though he did know enough not to be completely clueless in a fight if he needed to defend himself or someone else. As it turned out he didn't have to as Ross stepped in for a short, one sided fight.

Once it was over, he turned to Ross. "The old man mentioned something about people turning nuts if they have supernatural powers and try to use them here, he might of been one of them. Did you find something?"

Ross nods "Yes. He killed one of his classmates and drank her blood. Probably to avoid dehydration." he says "Also, you're correct to a degree. Those with supernatural abilities will suffer the darkening, but faster. Everyone who stays here will suffer the darkening to one degree or another, as Lost had explained to me" he explains.

He closes the door and starts off once more. The school was completely empty! Save for the fellow they ran into before and the corpses. Not only that ,but the crumbling school kept tem from many places. That and the doors don't want to pen to many of the classrooms.

Dysis was disgusted but said nothing about it. "The sooner we get out of here, the better.." He was really worried about Tracy, she was a worse fighter then he was, hell she didn't know how to and she was physically weaker too. He wasn't sure if Zoanthrope powers counted as supernatural, but he doubted it.

Ross spares Dysis a glance back, then goes back to his search "You should prepare yourself mentally for if we find Tracy and she's in a bad state." he cautions "Given what we seen of this place so farand what I've been told about her from Lost, she doesn't stand too good of odds of surviving here." he points out.

Ross stops dead in his tracks as a ghost appears about twenty feet in front of him. It was the ghost of a young boy. His bod was a ghostly blue and sightly see through. He had a blank look on his face ,blood dribbling down his mouth and his stomach had been viciously sliced open.

Ross quickly looks away "That's one of the ghost kids Lot warned me about. If they're not chasing us, then don't look them in the eyes. It's best to ignore them all together." he warn Dysis as he slowly continues.

As much as he loathed to admit it, Ross was probably right even if he didn't like the idea or thinking about it. At his words, he did what Ross said and didn't pay them any mind. "Is there like any way to shut this down so more people don't get stranded here. A spell, some type of "higher" being, some plot device items, anything?"

After they left the ghost kid behind (Ross was still keeping an eye out for him), he shrugs to Dysis' question "Not sure and don't care. It's not our job to shut this place down. It's our job to find Tracy and her classmates and bring them back, if reasonably probably." he says as he turns a corner and comes to a sudden stop!

"Okay, there's something quite nasty beyond this hall. We can trudge through, or we an head back to the ghost boy." he says. Beyond where Ross was standing, against the wall, was the splattered remains of a person. It looked like they were thrown against the wall at great speeds.

Maybe it wasn't but Dysis couldn't in good concious just leave things alone without at least asking, maybe the old man would know; they seemed to know a lot of things.

"We don't know what it is or what its capable of and since..I'm like what I am here I'd be dead weight in a fight if this thing has supernatural physical stats.." He grimaced at the display. "..Which it seems to have going by remains.."

Ross takes a step forward to examine the remains. After a bit, he takes a step back "Well, I have some good news and bad news." he starts "The bad news is, this was a girl and what's more, she's from the same college as Tracy..." he says, getting the bad out of the way "The good news, is I don't believe it was Tracy who met her end here. This girl had blond hair and, from what I was told, Tracy has brown hair. he finishes as he steps over the mess and continues on.

"Let's take a breather here. The infirmary. Here we can get our barrings and see if there's anything we can use, though I doubt it." he says as he slides the door open, not only to have a girl slam int him, plunging a scalpel into his chest as the two of them tumble over!

Dysis was taken back but only for a second before he swung into action, he wasn't just going to let Ross die; unknowing there was only one way to kill one of his kind. While she was distracted, he attempted to grab her weapon arm and disarm her. He didn't have his strength but he Should in theory be stronger then them based purely on build and such alone.

Dysis was, indeed, stronger then the girl, who was one of Tracy's classmates. Ross pushes her off and she stumbles back and falls to the ground "NOOO!" she screams "You're not going to get me too!" she ells as she jumps to her feet, but stumbles back down.

Now that she wasn't moving, one could see that she looked very pail and she had blood on her hands and uniform. Upon further inspection, her Achilles's tendon had ben cut in one of her legs and she was bleeding out from the wound.

Ross sits up, the scalpel was still stuck in his chest. A dull glowing green blood was oozing from the wound as he pulls the blade out and throws it away. He takes stock of the situation and pulls a first aid kit from his coat "Move." he says to Dysis as he goes to work on the girl's leg, as if she hadn't just viciously stabbed him.

Dysis did so, putting aside the fact Ross just walked off getting stabbed in the chest. He had thought supernatural powers didn't work here yet he walked it off as if nothing had happened. He obviously wasn't human, not that he really thought so in the first place.

What seemed like hours, Ross finally was finished with the girl's leg. She had passed out from either the loss of blood or the pain. Ross looked grim either way. He wipes off his hands "I stopped the bleeding and stitched up the wound. But she's lost a Lot of blood." he points out "Right now, we have a choice, we can continue looking for the others and drag her along, or we can leave now and get her some help" he says "Though, I'll tell you right now, with as much blood as she's lost, even if we leave Right now, there''s chance she still might not make it."

Dysis hated making decisions like this, all the options just seemed like maybe slightly better ones. It was this reason he never wanted to be in any kind of leadership or miltary making tough decisions like this..but here he was anyway. "On the other hand, the longer they stay here the worse it gets." He sighed tiredly. "..How long have you been working them, making a guess? I didn't bring my time on me..if it even works here." He'd use that to make a decision.

Ross check his watch. It was an old windup watch, so it was unaffected by this place "I had been working on her for a half hour and we've been here for a hour and a half." he says. He reaches into the girl's pocket on her skirt and pulls something out, then pulls something out of his pocket. It was their respective paper doll scraps.

Ross hands his to Dysis, along with a smelling salt "Okay, here's the deal: I'm better equip to be here than you are. You use my half of the paper doll scrap and get her some help and I'll keep looking for the others and use their paper doll scraps to get back." he says, not leaving any room for argument.

"Use the smelling salt to wake her up, do the charm the right way like the old ma told you, get her to a hospital as soon as you get back." he says, ten turns and starts off "With luck, I'll get your girl friend back." he calls over his shoulder.

Dysis didn't have time for the classic "she's not my girlfriend" thing before Ross was along his way. Sighing again he used the smelling salts to wake the young woman up and go from there.

((Continuing from Ever After))

Mad was awake throughout the entire process of traveling to Heavenly Host. In fact, he was working out how he could travel to and from without needing to use the hokey ritual and he believed he had found a way. If it proved to be th case,he wouldn't need to ask anyone else to show up.

Mad looks around. The school was dark and smelled of death. The darkness didn't bother Mad but the smell was something he woul need to get use to. Dysis was nowhere to be found, so Mad assumed that he was in another version of Heavenly Host. That was just as well. Mad knew he would get in his way.

Mad takes a deep breath as the shadows around him seem to pull in close, almost congealing around him and turns into a long coat made of shadows as two snake/eel-like creatures appear over each shoulder and Mad's skin gets all shadowy, but his veins seemed to be glowing a redish.

The two Darkness Arms instantly inhale the darkness around Mad, which seems to increase​their power as their multi-faceted eyes start to glow even brighter "Alright...let's...get to work..." he snarls as pulls out his darkness guns and starts out.

Dysis didn't want to ever be in this place again, and to make matters worse Mad was no where to be found. Since he could absorb this kind of darkness he should in theory be all right, unlike himself using his own powers. He obviously couldn't just leave him here.

The only thing for now he'd have to be careful.

The air was oppressive and muggy, as it was raining outside, and it was quiet. Dead quiet. Though, if one listened very carefully, one could hear the pain filled sobs of what sounded like a young girl somewhere near by.But whether it was a ghost or an Actual person, was still to be determined.
