All That Glitters...

In a blur, Jason, Kate, Michelle, and Key were back on Vegeta. Everything was exactly like it was when they had left. The sky was still red, the gravity was still heavy and the Saiyans were still pricks to everyone. Key looks around, then nods to Kate as she heads back to the palace. Presumably to head back to her room. She felt tired for some reason

Jason knew why she felt tired. They had traveled a good Long distance, the strain of such a journey would tired anyone out, let alone Key. Jason knew in giving up one weakness, she would gain a new one. It was only a matter of time before it manifested it's self.

He looks over to Kate "You had best go with her. She might need your support." he says. He wanted to go and talk with Joseph, just shoot the shit for old time sake.

Kate almost felt there was something more to Jason's words, but she decided to follow Key unless she truly was just going to bed.

Joseph was of course there, he was talking about Kail about something or another. When they finished, the young man wandered out with a thoughtful air about them as they found a balcony and had a seat to reflect on whatever was on their mind.

Key wanders to her room and heads on in. It was devoid of most things. There was a table and a couple of couches across from each other, for when she had company over, which was rarely ever. In her room was a bed with a night stand next to it, a desk, a dresser and a Young Girl sitting on her bed.

Jason wanders into the palace. The guards don't try to stop him. While they don't kow exactly How strong he is, they know that Jason is insanely strong. Rumors have spread about how he's able to match Joseph, who they Know for a fact is strong, blow for blow in a fight.

Jason heads to the balcony "Hey there, man. What's gong on? Teala still not back? You must be going a bit crazy by that." he says as he wanders over.

When Kate followed Key to maybe keep her company she saw a girl, she looked familiar but couldn't place them. "Uh, do you know them Key?" Pretty much no one just came and interacted with Key save for her parents, herself and Kail for the most part.

Joseph was in the brief midst of something or more thinking when Jason came to greet him. "Hey Jason. No she isn't, I'm used to her being gone for weeks or even months at a time but still." It did come with downsides, but at the least she was more then capable of taking care of herself. The only other downside on a smaller note was somewhat embarrassing to talk about, at least to most people.

((That's correct Arlic is older then the pitures that Key has of her.))

Key studies the girl on her bed for a bit, but doesn't get a chance to answer, as the girl gets off the bed "Key? You remeber me, right?" she asks "I'm your-" she starts.

"You look like Arlic, had she lived. But she died more then five years ago. So who are you?" she asks, no anger, or confusion, or sadness in her voice. Just, straight.

The young girl nods "I am, indeed, your sister and you're correct, I did die and I went to Otherworld. I was contacted by one of King Yemma's Oni and they told me that I was alive again and that when I passed through gateways between worlds, that I would be aged to what I would have been, had I lived." she explains.

For a Saiyan, Arlic was a bit on the weak side. There were children that were stronger than she was. Which would explain why she was explaining things as if she were talking to an unstable person.

Key regards the young woman for a bit "What was the last words you spoke to me?" she asks in a flat tone.

Arlic blinks in surprise "I told you to live for the both of us, since I couldn't." she says.

Key was silent for a bit, then turns and heads out without saying a word. She needed to talk to someone. Preferably someone who knew about the Dragon Balls and those were only Jason and Joseph.

Jason understood what Joseph meant, but didn't comment on it "Hang in there. She'll be back before you know it. Cooler is going down this time and nothing he does will prevent that this time." he says with certainty. "After that, we should concentrate on what we'll do in a universe without the Planet Brokers, though, I'm sure one of Cooler's lieutenants will try to take over." he says off handedly, not worried about them.

Kate wasn't sure what to think, there was a lot of thoughts going through her head. "I believe you. Only people who have dead before or something along those lines would even know who King Yemma even is. She..just needs to sort it out."

That and Jason's words, plus them talking to Will And whatever Shenron did. It was too much connecting together for her to think just a concidence.

Joseph shook his head. "I don't know but its a good question. I'm just glad at least one thing is out the way. Something bad will pop up again one day sooner or later but I'll take what I can get now."

The young girl looks over from where Key was, to Kate "This isn't how I ever imagined our reunion." she says, sounding sad, then she blinks "I forgot to introduce myself,how rude of me." she says "My name is Arlic. If you're a friend of my sisters, you may count me as a friend as well." she says, holding out a hand.

Jason nods "Meh. I'm not too worried about it. If someone takes over for Cooler, there's No way they'll be even close to his strength." he chuckles. He knew there Were some out there who were pretty strong, the average warrior wouldn't be able to deal with them, and they would even give Lee a run for his money, you know, before his training would be complete.

But for those like Joseph, Teala, himself, and Brolly, the wouldn't be too much a threat. He turns and sees Key walking up as if she has something on her mind "How is it possible that my sister is alive?" she asks in a neutral tone.

Kate didn't want to be rude and this was Key's sister so she shook her hand. "Nice to meet you for the first time. As for Key, she'll come around. For a really long time she thought you gone forever, so seeing you back part of her is probably in denial."

Joseph was going to add his two cents when Key came up, the question making him blink. It took a moment for things to process exactly what she just said. "If your sister is still alive, that means something like the Draongballs are at work. But I thought earth draongballs could only grant one wish." Though Jason would know better about things then he did.

Arlic shakes her head "No. I doubt she's capable of denial. Chances are she's gone to find out if it's even possible for someone to come back to life. Sort of her way of confirming I am who I say I am." she explains.

Jason nods "Correct..." Jason says to Joseph "However, Will's Shenron is a kind creature with a good heart. If he hears something that touches his heart, like the sad fate of your young sister, he may be moved enough to grant an additional wish, on top of what he was originally granting, like bringing your sister back to ife." he explains to both Key and Joseph

Key had an impassive expression on her face "So what you're saying, is that the young woman in my room, claiming to be my younger sister, is Actually my sister?" she asks, still impassive.

Jason nods "Correct. She Is, one hundred percent, your sister Arlic. That's why I had you retell Shenron the tale of what happened to her." he says "Because I knew he would react that way."

"Maybe." Kate said, thinking. "Were you teleported here? I ask because the guards usually don't just let anyone walk around the palace they don't know." That and her power level was really low, unless she hid it

"Clever. That makes a lot of sense." He had to hand it to Jason on that and it worked out good, since Key had her sister on top of the cure of her condition from before.

Arlic nods slightly "Apparently wen you're brought back to life, in Otherworld, you return to the same planet that you died on and in my case, it was the planet Vegeta." she explains "As for why I'm in Key's room, because I'm her sister." she says simply.

Key nods slightly "I see. Thank you for what you had done fo the both of us." she says, then turns and heads off. That was all she wanted to know and since Jason seemed to know everything, she would trust his word.

Kate thought that made sense. "Are you hungry or thirsty? I could get some of the cooks to make something." She offered the young woman. She wasn't sure how taxing

Joseph watched her leave then turning back to Jason. "I'm glad that managed to work itself out, I know Kate was probably thinking along those lines too before the wish was made."

Arlic shakes her head "No thank you. Unlike my sister, I don't share a Saiyan's appetite In fact, you'll find tha I don't share many things in common with the typical Saiyan." she swishes her tail around "Aside from this and everything that's associated with it." she explains.

Jason nods "Indeed she was. It was so strong, I think that even Will could pick up on it." he says "Key's lucky to have Arlic back and so are you. She may not be strong, but she's Extremely smart and she can control when her transformation into an Oozaru and that's when her strength Really ramps up." he explains.

"Is that why your power level seems a bit lower then average?" Kate asked thinking a bit.

"So her Oozaru form is stronger then normal then? That's good to know. Kind of like the opposite of her sister where her Super Sayain form is stronger then a normal base Sayain's is." Joseph says.

Arlic frowns "That's a correct, but impolite way of putting it." she says "Unlike my sister, I still have my feelings intact and I'm sure you didn't mean for it to be so, that was a hurtful comment." she points out.

Jason nods "She's not stronger than a Super Saiyan when in her Oozaru form, she's just Much stronger than most Saiyans on the planet and she retains her sanity when in her Oozaru form as well. Which makes her that much more deadlier, you know, if she knew how to fight." he says with a shrug.

Kate shook her head, she could admit when she was wrong about something. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean anything by it Arlic."

"If she wants too she could be taught, its up to her. But while on the subject I've been curious. Can Sayains in this dimension gain anything stronger then Super Sayain 4?" He was just idly curious.

Arlic nods "Apology accepted." she says "Most of my kind tend to make fun of and bully me because I don't act like a Saiyan. They say I'm more like a weak Human, than a powerful Saiyan." she says casually "But then Key usually intervenes and they leave me alone."

Jason thinks for a bit, then nods "Yeah. There's the Legendary Super Saiyans like Teala and Broly and than there's what Lee's doing Right now that'll push him beyond that of a Super Saiyan 4 and quite possibly beyond that of a Legendary Super Saiyan, if he can finish it that is." he says.

"I've known a few other Sayains like that, its stupid but it is what it is." Some stayed on Vegeta despite this since it was where they were born, while others moved off world when they got the chance and were much happier that way because they felt completely alone back at home. It just showed you could be around people just like you genetically but still feel alone. It really depended on the person, like with pretty much everything else. "If you want, me, my dad or someone can train you. You don't have to go fully into it, just enough to hold your own if need be." She offered.

Now Joe was curious. "What form you talking about?"

Arlic shakes hr head "No thank you. I don't believe that fighting is the only option and should it come to a fight, Key will protect me, like she always has." she says as she heads out and almost runs right into her sister. Key braces Arlic by the shoulders "Careful. You can't have your head in the clouds wile you're walking." she says.

Arlic nods to her sister "Understood. Kate and I were on our way to get something to eat. Would you care to join us?" she asks.

Jason was deciding if he should tell Joseph or not. But decided that Joseph had the right to know "I assume you heard the rumor that Lee was trained Personally by the God of Destruction, Beerus, himself, right?" he asks "Most Saiyans only laugh off the rumor and Alusarians don't even take stock in such flights of fancy by a savage Saiyan." he explains.

"But it's true. While on his fated suicide mission, Lee managed to get himself cornered and he was so ashamed that hr had let his people down, that the same turned to anger at himself for being so weak and that unlocked his Super Saiyan form." he continues.

"Well, even though he was a Super Saiyan, he was still pretty weak for one. But even still, he was stronger than all those on the planet and managed to cause the destruction Of said planet." he says "Which was both a good and bad thing. The bad thing, was that Beerus was on his way to destroy the planet himself, but was quite upset that Lee beat him to the punch."

"But the good, was that Whis, Beerus', uh, watcher ,I guess you can call him, talked Beerus into training Lee to be one of his agents and That's how Lee got so strong. Well, now Lee had gone Back to hi master to finish his training and when it's complete, he will have reached a power unlike Any that has been seen before. It's official name is called 'Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan', but we'll just call it 'Super Saiyan Blue'."" he finishes

"It's a stronger off branch of the Super Saiyan chain. But this time it adds a new type of energy to the mix. Godly energy, I guess you could call it. In that form, Lee would be more than a match for pretty much anyone in this universe,"

Kate didn't fully agree, the universe was a mean place and not everyone could be reasoned with. That's why in her mind everyone should learn basic self defense, if nothing else just to disable someone and run away. Though the first rule of self defense was to avoid fights so Arlic had that point down already. Either way she'd respect the young woman's wishes.

"Huh. Didn't know Beerus existed in this dimension here and by proxy Sayain God." Joseph said more to himself. "I never figured out, but my guess is the reason that even comes about. Will has divine energy, I think being a Kami but its another kind then Beerus. Though is there a difference between divine energy and Godly energy?" He figured it might like the difference between someone like Will and say the Golden Goddesses learning to fight like they can, for example. That is, if they weren't just different words for the same thing.

It wasn't long before they got to the kitchen, the cook was in making dinner for the house. Or more to the point, he was supervising his other cooks in makin food for everyone. He looks over to Kate and frowns. He was one of those Saiyans who didn't consider Joseph the King of his people and didn't like either him or Kate. And he didn't ik Key either, because to him, she wasn't a Real Saiyan. But he would never say or do anything, because of how strong They were and how weak He was.

Jason shakes his had "No. Not really much difference. Just how much of it they have, is the real difference. In Will's case, he's what's considered a 'Minor Deity', who can only use his devine power for small things." he explains "While on the opposite side of the spectrum, the Golden Goddesses from Hyrule, they are positively dripping with devine energies. So much so, that everything the touch practically becomes a holy relic."

High in the red sky, something shiny seem to enter orbit and just stop. It was then followed by another, about a hundred or so miles away, then more and more show up, taking orbit at a high altitude. Jason frowns slightly at them, clearly not knowing what they were.

Kate didn't know what was going in their head, though she did know some people would never like you no matter what you did. Trying to appease everyone meant in the end pleasing no one, yourself included as her dad said. At the same time, you don't need to go out of your way to create needless drama.

In the background,Kail had come back from whatever it was they had been up to when they spotted Kate and the others. He knew the first two, but he had no idea who the young woman was.

Kate noticed them first and waved them over. "Just one of the people I wanted to see. Kail, this is Arlic, Key's sister."

The young man had No clue how to take that, he wondered how it was even possible before a quick realization of the stories Joseph told. It had to be something along those lines. Regardless, he didn't want to just stand there and be rude so he extended his hand. "Kail. Nice to meet you."

Joseph was going to ask what rank Beerus and such were then but the conversation was cut short. Going by Jason reaction, even he wasn't sure. "I'm not sure what those are and you don't seem to either, we should probably investigate."

Arlic nods "Greetings." she says. She didn't know what to really make of this new person. Both Kate and Key seem to know them, but she never seen him before. So he must have come along after she died.

Key looks over to Kail, after she gauged Arlic's reaction to Kail "I feel I should warn you, Michelle and Jason are on the planet and while Jason probably wouldn't mind you're home, Michelle most likely would. She's been itching for a fight, it seems." she says.

Jason suddenly gets an alarmed look on his face "Shit!" he exclaims, then looks to Joseph "Get Michelle in the Event Horizon and have her shoot down as many of those as she can! Get All Saiyans inside and Don't have them look at the sky!" he says as his aura suddenly flairs up and he shoots off into the sky as blinding speeds!

The first few shining things explode instantly as Jason had reached them, the others fire a whiteish/blue ball of energy into the air and they just Hang in the sky. It was an artificial moon that Saiyans sometimes used to change into an Oozaru and all the shining things were shooting them out!

Kate thought it was a bit rude how Arlic didn't shake their hand, but maybe she was just shy or it slipped her mind. On top of that Kail didn't seem to mind so no point making a show of it.

"Did you two have a fight or something?" Kate wasn't oblivious as she noticed back on the ship, she just didn't say anything because she had been thinking it would work itself out. It may have been a failing at her part, as the leader she was suppose to meditate between people if needed.

"I don't know, we literally barely interacted with each other. But I'll try to talk to them." Hopefully it would get whatever it was out of her system and she would chill out by trying to talk about it like adults. She was cute, too bad she seemed to have it out for him in the bad way.

Before the conversation could continue, there was an annoucement of an artifical moon and to stay in doors. Which was a bit confusing since Vegeta Never had any moon-related problems since years ago, so it wasn't something the Sayains had to ever practice for again.

Joseph made sure to get the announcement going, now he needed to find Michelle and quickly. He couldn't sense where she was, but if she was at the same place she should be there after that he was doing Exactly what Jason was attempting to do.

Who was doing this was probably the Planet Brokers, but he couldn't discount others either. However, the other big problem was if this was All over the planet, it would be a pain in the ass to get them.

After the announcement, Key started to moved to he front of the palace "Kail, would you get to the side exit? Knowing our people as we both do, some o the more irrational ones will probably want to see what's going on, despite the King's command." she says. She wouldn't give orders to Kate, having too much respect for the young woman and knowing she would do what she needed to.

Arlic decided to head outside to see what as going on. After all, this 'King' her sister spoke of, she didn't know them and while she knew he probably had the best interest of her people in mind, the situation didn't apply to her. She wanders out and sees what's going on. After taking in a few factors, she knew what needed to be done. She heads back inside to look for Kate or her sister.

As it turned out, after them message and a few Saiyans start to change into an Oozaru, right before her very eyes, Michelle was booking it back to the palace to ask her dad what the heck was going on! She couldn't reach him, s she went looking for Joseph, since the two of them were never too far from each other.
