Endless Wandering

Bow smiles a goofy grin "That's the spirit! Come on." he says as he heads outside. It was still raining, which had gotten worse, but he didn't care. The most it did was weaken his pyro abilities and he had Ki to take it's place if need be. He didn't think they would encounter any baddies. Hell, for all they knew, Kyle had been right and the bad guys who took Tala's daughter weren't even on this planet.If they were, they were seemingly experts at laying low. And this was starting to wear thin on Bow's nerves. Which meant if something didn't turn up soon, he would actively go on the hunt and when he foun those people, they wouldn't like him too much.

The water was messing with Relena's clothes but she honestly didn't mind too much. She hadn't grown up with a silver spoon in her mouth and a bit of water wasn't going to hurt her. It was a absolute pain on her wings at times but she had gotten used to that ages ago.

On another plus side, the water looked good on Bow. Not that she'a admit it out loud.

Tala was quite, thinking but she decided to speak up to break the ice. She wanted to distract herself. "If you don't mind me asking, what is your home?"

Bow had to admit, both women looked quite nice in the rain. Especially the way their wet clothing clung to their bodies. He may be one of he good guys, but he was still a man and men have certain urges and seeing attractive young looking women in the rain was one of hem, as far as he was concerned.

Tala's question cought him a little off guard, but he saw no harm in telling them about his home "I come from a plant called Sivath. It's not the most advanced plant out there and there's little in the way of civilisation, you know, with only the Freconus left after Deathwing had destroyed petty much everything.." he says as if this was nothing new "But we're slowly but surely picking up the pieces and rebuilding." he says, giving them the thumbs up.

"It's a shame the other races are gone though. If its truly a parrel world and they're similar to us we could learned a lot from each other. That's assuming there was ways back and forth." Tala would have been curious about these others, but it was a done deal.

"As for our world, its hard to explain." Relena began, it was nice just do things and not dwell on the negative so the conversation was much welcomed. "I'd say our world is pretty decently advanced, but we have ways to go in certain areas. In Noreal some places aren't as advanced, mainly because some people prefer a more simpler life style. I live in a country called Arcana, its not as advanced as some others, but the people are friendly and it has a beauty of its own."

"My mother is a personal bodyguard to the young princess there and my father was from the army of another country. I decided on another path though, I figured I'd do more with my words then with any weapon or my hands. They're very proud of me and I of them." Relena said with a bit of pride in her voice.

There was a picture of an beautiful city that one would remind someone of something out of a fantasy book, along with a woman in armor that wouldn't be out of place in said setting. The pictures were water resistant, so she wasn't worried about a little rain with them.

Bow wasn't so uch looking at the picture of the landscape, but rather the young woman in the picture "Whoa! She looks tough. I would so like to fight her!" he says, the Freconus in him taking over again.

He clears his throat "Sorry, ladies. Sometimes I just get the urge to fight someone. It's in my tribes nature to fight. Some times it's with other tribes, some times it's with each other. But it's all in good fun, mostly." he says.

"So how about we get out of the rain and get something to eat?" he asks, the Tulvir in him rearing it's head.

Relena put the pictures away. "It's fine. You aren't the first person I met that had fighting in their blood. My mother is strong in her own right but she won't be doing anything involving fighting or sparring for a bit because I have a little brother or sister coming along the way."

"I'm fine with it." Tala said to the young man in response to eating, though she wasn't all that hungry she could due to get out of this rain.

Bow nods. He understood what Relena was getting at. It was also a common practice to not know the gender of one's siblings on h is world as well. He leads the two of them to a burger joint. It was nice to get out of the rain and because of his nature, he would dry off fast. He wasn't sure if his companions would also dry off as fast, still, he wasn't complaining. Both of them looked damn good with their et clothing clinging to their shapely bodies.

Bow would order for them while his lady friends took care of their business in the women's restroom. Bow had to wonder how he was going to get along wen his funds finally ran out. Would he go back to the Time Patrol, or look for a job here, or maybe go back home? All these didn't seem like very good choices to the Freconus. So, he would do as he always had done, he would wing it.

Tala and Relena returned before too long, after they had gotten freshened up that is. The two women went to have a seat, the later seeming to be thinking of something. "I've been wondering, do you have any brothers or sisters Bow?"

Milana didn't know why the people let her go, she just knew she was scared and had no clue where she was. None of the buildings and places looked familar to the little girl. It was all different and that set her even more on edge.

She didn't know if there was some plan in the works or some ulterior motive for her release, she only knew she wanted to find her family.

Bow smiles and nods "Oh you bet! I have twenty-three sisters and seven-teen brothers. All ranging from few hundred to about a few thousand." he says with a grin "I'm one of the middle hatchlings. I'm about five or so hundred years old. But I'm by Far the strongest of my whole family, hell, my whole tribe!" he says, proudly. He wasn't going to ask abou their families, because so far Tala didn't seem to be having too much luck on that subject and Bow didn't want to add to get misery.

As Milana was wandering around, a Strange Man comes walking up to her. There was a wrongness about him, even though he seemed harmless "Oh, my young child. What ever brings you out here, to this hostile land full of dangerous creatures?" he asks as he holds an umbrella over her, shielding her from the rain "Tell me, child, whom is it you seek?" he asks.

"A few thousand? Your people must be really long lived. All the native races of Noreal roughly live two thousand years at the most normally." That made Relena thoughtful of a few things. "And it sounds like your people are born from eggs? Or is hatchlings just a saying?" If true that meant they didn't give birth in their human form, unlike Draner who did like most other mammals.

Draner's "human" looking form was partially their true form and patially not. Both halves made up of them and cutting one from the other tended to make one cranky.

Milana was tired, cold and hungry and more then a bit on edge. She didn't trust this man and something about them made the little girl really uncomfortable. She wasn't sure what to do, she didn't want to make them mad, but she didn't want to go with them either. After all, mommy and Leniya said not to go with strangers and that what she was going to do.

"My mom." It was the only thing she said, shuffling her feet a bit.

Bow nods "Yeah. Our people live to be about ten or so thousand years, we think. No one's ever lived that long so far, but we don't rule anything out." he says with a chuckle "Also, you're right, Hatchling is a term for our young. we're born in the form we're in at the time of birth." he explains "Once it was said we hatched from eggs, but once we started bedding the Others after Deathwing's rampage, we started slowly moving away from eggs and into live birth. We think that's also when our lives started getting longer." he finishes.

The man nods "Ah, the fair and lovely Tala." he says "She has been quite beside herself looking for you. Follow me, if you will." he says as he users Milana along. He moves as if he knows where he was going and soon, they were standing outside of a cafe "Your mother is inside." he says, pointing to her in the window "When asked how is came that you found her, tell her that Vaazlahkol had escorted you here." he says, handing the umbrella to Milana and taking a step back.

Tala who had been mostly silent during the conversation spoke up again. "The Others? Didn't you say all races on your planet were wiped out during their rampage?"

She was going to say more when a small voice called to her. "Mommy!"

The older woman froze, instantly knowing that voice before seeing her daughter who ran up to her. Instantly she hugged them tightly, breaking into tears.

Bow knew that this could very well be a trap, but one scan of the girl's Ki energy would suggest that she Is, in fact, Tala's daughter and if that was really the case, there was No way a young girl like her would have made it through the city all by herself And found her mother at the same time. Someone had brought her here.

Bow was on his feet and out the door ,looking for whomever it was. Because whoever it was, didn't come inside to make sue that mother an child would be reunited and fr That matter, they would have to already known that Tala was Milana's mother to begin with and the only reason they didn't show themselves, was because they had something big to hide.

Like maybe their involvement in this whole ordeal! Whatever it was, Bow had a feeling it wasn't good and that it wasn't over with either.

Relena excused herself, letting the two have a moment as she went after Bow, being of the similar mind that something wasn't quite right so she went to investigate as well.

Bow looks around, frowning, he couldn't smell anyting becaue of the rain, but he could surely feel that same power from before. He turns to Relena "Can you feel that? It's the same as the cafe from before. With that guy who felt wrong." he says, referring to Vaazlahkol.

Bow hod no doubt in hismind that he was here and with Tala's daughter. Maybe he was even involved in what happened with her. No, that didn't feel right. Because if he was, why would he bring the young girl back?

Anyway, mission accomplished. He stops hiding his energy, knowing that Kyle would pick it up and come to his location to see what was up. If nothing else, Bow would flair up his aura to get his old teammate's attention, and any other Ki using baddy in the area.

At that news Relena frowned. "That's..not completely comforting but at least Milana is back. I'll need to talk to her to see if we can find out about the people behind everything."

Bow was thinking and he had something close to an idea "You know, I was thinking, I know of a pretty strong psychic that we could take her to and he could see if he can recognise anything about those who captured her." he suggests, referring to Ness, the whole reason he was taking a break from the Time Patrol in the first place. Though, he knew better than to blame Ness.

"It might not be a bad idea. We'll have to ask Tala." It was her child at the end of the day but she really didn't see why not when it came to finding out the more specifics.

Speaking of, Tala was there, calmed down a bit but still over the moon for obvious reasons.

"Just the person we wanted to see. Bow had the idea of someone finding out about who took your daughter, if that's all right?" Relena asked.

Tala wiped her eyes slightly. "..Of course. We can leave when ready." She gently ushered Milana forward a bit. "Milana, this is Bow a new friend of ours but he's a very nice man."

"Um..hi?" Milana voice was quite, and she seemed a bit shy.

Bow looks dow at Milana "Hey there, squirt! It's good to finally meetcha! Your mother has told me a bit about ya." he says, offering a hand.

It was at this time that a ball of blue energy shoots towards them, then suddenly stops as Kyle comes flipping down to the ground, back in his normal form. He lands as if he had done that sot of thing all the time. He looks from Bow to Milana ""You found her. Any problems along the way?" he asks.

Bow shakes his head "Nope. Not a thing. We were just about to take Milana to Ness and have him read her mind to see who's behind this and where we can find them" he explains, then takes a ew steps away and motions for Kyle to follow. Bow needed to lt him know about Vaazlahkol.

Milana blinked, looking at his hand before shyly accepting it. Once she got used to new people's presence she'd become more a chatter box but for now she was content with hanging close to the two women.

"You know that man from before? He was the one who found and escorted Milana here but according to Milana, not the one who took her."

That gave Relena some pause as she mulled it over. She didn't exactly trust the Vaazlahkol fellow but if he was stronger then Bow then there was no need to plot behind the shadows. Not unless of course there was something long term, but her gut told her while he may be questionbale, he wasn't really their main enemy.

Bow always wondered why other races young always acted so shy and withdrawn when meeting new people Freconus children were unruly when it came to new people and while Some Might act shy, the rest were rowdy as can be. Still, now wasn't theme to focus on such things.

Bow nods to Kyle and Relena to follow him, leaving Tala to her daughter. They needed to know something. Kyle raises a brow once he was away from the mother and daughter duo "Is there something wrong, Bow?" he asks, already knowing there was.

Bow nods slowly "Yeah. I know who this Vaazlahkol creature is and you're no going to like it." he starts "as you both know, Deathwing is the one who pretty much destroyed my world, you should know that he's one of the Thirteen Divine that my people worship..." he explains "That's why we were only able to drive him off, no defeat or destroy him. He's the Divine of destruction." he says.

Kyle nods slowly "That makes sense, but what does Deathwing have to do wit Vaazlahkol?" he asks.

Bow gets an uncharacteristically serious look on his usually cheerful face "Vaazlahkol is one of the Thirteen Divine as well. He's the Divine of death." he states, letting it sink in.

Relena..wasn't really sure what to make of all this. She had seen and heard of some strange things but this one was up there. She didn't entirely believe the deity that created the native Noreal races was Actually real. She was more a casual practioner in the actual religion but had grown out of it. To be honest, she wasn't sure if meddling deities if they exist was a good thing.

"I don't get why they're all the way here, if its as you say."

Bow shakes his head "I don't know. I always thought that he Thirteen Divine were a myth. Stories The Ancients told the young to them to scare them into doing their chores or staying in at night. 'Don't go outside at night, or The Thirteen will grab you up!', 'Be good and do as you are told, or The Thirteen will take you away!', they would say." he says.

Kyle was thinking, something he did best "Well, true or not, it would seem we need to keep an eye out for them. In the mean time, we should see about getting you three back to your homeland and inform the local peacekeepers that Milana came back on her own. Say nothing about venturing to Earth." he suggests.

Bow shakes his head "Not just yet. We're going to find that Ness fellow and have him read the child's mind to see if we can get any leads on who's the one we need to go after and show them he error of their ways." he says, smacking a fist into his hand.

"Hopefully your friend can learn something, even as a child Milana does have a decently high resistance to effects of the mind because of what she is, so it might be jumbled." Relena said.

She supposed she could teleport herself, Milana and Tala when the time came back home afterwards. She was going to miss Bow though, chances were decent they might not see each other again but she wasn't sure what he would be doing.

Bow shakes his head "That won't be a problem. The one we're taking her to is a powerful psychic. During our mission, we couldn't even make contact wth him, because if we did, he would know it. So I don't think mental resistance to effects that mess with the mind to some degree or another, will be a problem." he assures.

He closes his eyes a bit, searching for Ness's energy. Hopefully he didn't start hiding it or set up a jammer to keep them from finding him. After a few seconds, he locks onto Ness's energy, as did Kyle "This way, ladies." he says as he starts off, followed by Bow.

Bow looks over to Tala "So, after this, do you ladies have any plans?" he asks.
