Dear Guests

In the typical Mystic fashion, all four of them appeared in the center of the living room. It was dark outside and it looked snowy. Catherine moves her wings to her back, like always and looks to the others "Welcome to our home." she says with her usual pleasant smile.

Her home was a modest two bedroom, one bath house made for a small family like her and Kisa "Please make yourselves at home. Would you both like anything to drink" she asks. The time difference was very noticeable, as Tokyo was fourteen hours ahead of New York.

Lana wasn't used to the time being so different since this was the first time she ever traveled instantly back and forth to another place entirely that was that much ahead. She shook her head to Catherine's question, but she was curiously looking around.

"No thanks, but thanks for offering." Leon said politely. "You two have a nice home." It was around the size he and Lana stayed at since they didn't need that much space. If P-Chan had still been alive it would be enough space still as long as she shared rooms with either of them, but as is it worked and that's what mattered.

Catherine nods to Leon "Thank you. It was a gift from my Lord Arch Bishop to Kisa's sister. For all of her hard work." she says "But Arlin is,out of the country at the moment. In fact, she had never even set foot in this house before she left." she explains.

"But that's okay, because me and Cathy are going to fix it up with all the things Sis will like for when she gets back." Kisa pipes in, cheerfully.

"I'm sure she'll like it when she comes back." Lana assured her older friend, not that she needed it but she just felt it was the thing to do. She didn't really have much friends around her age, most were older like Alia.

"If you need anything fixed, let me know. I work at being a handy man, so if its mechanical I can probably look at it." Leon figured he'd make himself useful while he was here if need be.

Catherine supposed she Could have told Leon that her Lord Arch Bishop would pay for any repairs or damages But a small, selfish, part of her kind of liked the idea of Leon being around more. Her family died more then a few hundred years ago and, she had to admit to herself, she was feeling lonely. She smiles at Leon "I would be delighted to have you both over whenever you wish. Just let me know a head of time, so I can get some snacks ready." she says.

"I'll let you know then, or the other way around. My schedule is a bit flexible, I don't exactly have standard hours so I can definitely get an arrangement like this to work." If nothing else it would keep him busy. Being alone for extended periods of time was never good since it got him brooding on things from time to time, but he had gotten much better at it.

Leon's words make Catherine happy "Give me one moment, I'm going to get something to drink for everyone." she says as she heads into the kitchen. She comes back with juice for the girls and tea for herself and Leon, but she brought a couple bottles of water just incase tea wasn't Leon's thing "If you like, you both are more than welcome to spend the night." she offers.

Leon didn't mind tea, it really dependend on who made it and what flavor but the one Catherine made was pretty good and all in all. "I'm fine with it. Are you Lana?"

The little girl nodded. "Um, yeah. Where will we be sleeping?" it seemed small so she wasn't sure where.

Catherine was pleased that they liked her tea. She brought it all the way from Elysium. Lana's question ot her thinking. There were only two bedrooms in this small house and while she wouldn't mind sharing one with Leon, she didn't think they were both ready for that big of a move.

The logical choice was... "You and Leon can take my room and me and Kisa will be in her room." she says "Will that arrangement work for everyone?" she asks.

Kisa would have liked to had spent the night with Lana, getting to know her new friend better, but sh supposed she understood the logic in Catherine's set up.

Lana nodded, that sounded just fine to her. Leon was also fine with it since it made the most sense. "Its fine with us. Thank you for having us to your home."

Catherine smiles at the two who were becoming more precious to her with each encounter "Please, think nothing of it." she says. In truth, until Arlin came back, it was Kisa's house. But even still, she was sure the young lady didn't mind. She seemed to have grown fond of Lana, feeling he young girl was of like mind.

She turns on the tv, then starts towards the kitchen to get them more tea and juice "Leon, if I may impose, would you kindly give me a hand?" she asks. Though, in truth she wanted to be alone with Leon,even if it was just getting some tea.

"I'll be right there." Leon said to Catherine's statement, he was a guest here so he may as well pull his weight. Come to think of it, this had been his and Lana's first time in New York, but they hadn't gotten to explore it just yet; maybe later.

Catherine was now alone with Leon and she didn't know what to say to him! Her mind had completely locked up on her. She knew there was something between them and if they explored it farther, it would lead to something special, but right now, however, they were basically strangers "I-if I might ask, and it's not too personal, how did you and Lana meet?" she says, shyly avoiding his gaze as she continues to make tea.

Leon thought back a bit. "I met her during my travels through space. You see, I was a traveling mercenary once upon a time called the 'Gun Devil' because of my skill with fire arms and such. Lana was..experimented on by a race of people called Bados. They're a nasty bunch, to put it lightly. Thankfully they didn't do anything that negatively effects her, though Lana is a bit stronger then normal among other things."

"My mission at the time was just deal with some small bands of pirates lurking about when I found her. I'm really glad I did meet her, Natsumi, Drake and others on my journey. I became a much better person thanks to them."

Cathrine nods slowly "That sounds like a adventureous time, but also a dangerous one. I'm glad that you both managed to free yourselves from it." she says "Otherwise, we all might not have met." she says with a smile.

"That's true." Leon admitted. "Its been a long road but for the most part I wouldn't take it back." There was something else on his mind as well. "Been meaning to ask, what did you mean earlier by Lana and Kisa having in common?"

Catherine blinks in surprise "Oh. I merely meant that both Kisa and Lana are, feline in their appearance. Especially when Kisa changes into her other form, which is a tiger." she explains "That's why Kisa seemed fascinated by Lana's ears, I would imagine." she says with a fond smile for Kisa "Had she lived, I imagine Megan would have turned out to be much like Kisa." she says in a soft tone.

"Who was Megan?" Leon just didn't want to assume, but considering Catherine was something of a mother figure to Kisa, Megan was possibly their daughter, or just a close friend.

Catherine looks over to Leon "She was my daughter. Her and my husband were taken from me when the Outcasts attacked Empire City." she says with a hint of sadness in her voice and guilt behind her eyes "But that was long ago. I have Kisa now..." she looks over to the clock "And speaking of, it's almost time for her to go to bed. She has school tomorrow." sh says "Though, Lana might be another story, since it's still early for her."

Leon had lost loved ones before of course, the most recent that was really close to him was already obvious. He had never lost a child and had no desire to ever find out. "For what little its worth, I'm sorry for your loss.."

At the out for a change of subject, Leon took it. "You're right about Lana, the time zone difference takes some getting used to."

Cathrine nods "Indeed it does. If you like, I could take you and Lana back to Tokyo." she offers "Also, if it would be alright, I could come over when Kisa is in school. It'll be late at night, but by that time, our girls will be occupied with other things." she says, referring to Kisa being in school and Lana asleep. She was hoping Leon agreed, that way they could get to know each other bit better in a more adult setting.

Leon didn't see problems with it, thinking it over in his head. "Sure, why not? If I'm not doing anything at the time then I don't see any problem with it."

Catherine was quite pleased, but she hid the majority of it behind a smile "Then allow me to get Kisa to bed and I'll take you both back to Tokyo and we can choose a date and time to meet up next." she offers.

She nods to Leon as she wanders out of the kitchen to talk with Kisa and get her into bed. The young Zoanthrope resisted at first, but soon caved into Catherine and she follows Kisa to her room. A few minuets later, Catherine comes wandering out.

Leon went to get Lana who trudged after her father, she was a bit sad to see Kisa go to bed but there was always later. She didn't have many friends that were around her age that she regularly hung out with. "We're ready when you are."

Catherine walks over close to the two of them. She was close enough to take in Leon's scent and he, in her opinion, had the scent of a real man, which was starting to turn her on with. But she cleared her mind, wraps her wings around the two of them and all three of them disappear i the usual Mystic fashion.
